this is an awesome book! so specific to our area.. ("if you live north of 1960 our soil is more acidic, north of katy...") almost 400 pages of everything we need to know about all things growing. a must have for the houston area gardner.. or wanna be

It's a great resource book for the Houston area. We have such unique weather that it's great to have something to refer to when planning and up-keeping a garden. Not the best on pictures - but loads of helpful information

this was exactly the book I was looking for to get me started on upgrading my garden, i look forward to starting a fall garden as soon as our weather breaks
