The world as we know it is gone. After a devastating Chinese EMP attack and a nuclear strike on Chicago, chaos reigns and survival is a daily struggle.
Amidst the darkness and violence, four unlikely companions—Aurora, Brett, Tyler, and Lisette—make their way north, guided by a mysterious notebook that commands them to save a comatose stranger, Eli. But who is this holy man and why was he chosen? As they reach Aurora's isolated forest cabin, they are faced with a new challenge—how to survive without electricity and dwindling food supplies. But as civilization collapses, they soon realize that the real danger may not be the lack of resources, but the forces of darkness rising against them.
Meanwhile, Finn Foster, driven by his vendetta against the Carters, is granted more authority by the Unitum Imperium. But as he becomes more powerful, his methods become increasingly ruthless. And when the Unitum Imperium orders Nick Carter and Brooke to relocate to its headquarters in Jerusalem, Nick begins to question his loyalty to a leader he believes to be the Antichrist.
But the journey of the Carter siblings and their friends has only just begun. As the notebook's prophecies lead them to the ends of the earth, they must confront unimaginable dangers and discover the true meaning of Eli's passage to prophecy. Will they survive the perils that await them? And what will become of them in a world facing the apocalypse?
For fans of Christian post-apocalyptic thrillers and dystopian fiction, this book will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end. Don't miss out on this thrilling journey of survival, loyalty, and prophecy.
**************
The biblical signs are being fulfilled daily. Half the people embrace lawlessness, disorder, and the ideologies of demons. The world turns not to God but to immorality. Churches everywhere abandon the Bible and preach apostasy. Depraved and sinful hearts declare that right is wrong, and wrong is right.
It’s all preparing the world for the coming of the Antichrist and the seven years of Tribulation.
Mark E. Fisher’s two bestselling series of Christian end-times thrillers—Days of the Apocalypse and Apocalypse Mission—adhere to a Christian worldview. Both closely follow the biblical end-times events prophesied by God in the books of Daniel, Ezekiel, Joel, Matthew, Revelation, and others. And sometimes, characters from the second series will interact with characters from the first.
Mark wrote his first twelve pages at the age of ten, complete with drawings of a prairie fire, Indians, and a stampede. More recently he’s authored books of epic fantasy and historical fiction for the Christian and the general market. Mark E. Fisher’s eighth novel begins a series of Christian end-times thrillers based on the book of Revelation.
At various times, he has welded rails for the railroad, inspected glass in a glass factory, given checks to welfare clients, and programmed micro-code for IBM. He has helped plant a church and is active in Christian missions. He and his wife enjoy traveling with recent visits to Japan, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Ireland, France, Italy, and Switzerland. Sometimes, on his travels, stories seek him out. Once a month, he plays guitar in the church band.
Mark's latest series of Christian end-times thrillers, DAYS OF THE APOCALYPSE, became an Amazon bestseller. The fifth and final book in the series is published in April, 2024.
Prior to this, Mark wrote three novels of Christian historical fiction set in ancient, Celtic Ireland. DEATH OF THE MASTER BUILDER, set in Renaissance Italy, followed and was written for the general market.
Mark has also published an epic high-fantasy series, The SCEPTER AND TOWER trilogy for young adults.
I believe in CHRIST our savior. And this book and others in the series will hopefully bring others to believe in HIM before our world crumbles into destuction. If you have questions. Read any of mark Fishers books. They back up his writings with scriptures .
Have read many of these types of books written by both Christian and non-Christian authors and this one is definitely true to Scriptural interpretation. God does not give us a step by step view of what will happen in the future, but He has provided prophecy containing clues and Mr. Fisher has woven many of these clues into the chapters of his book. The only fault I found with the book is that I wish the characters had been fleshed out more. As it stands, I don't really feel as if I truly know them and after reading this second book in the series I find that disappointing. That is the reason for the 4 stars rather than 5. I do realize that may have been Mr. Fisher's intent - to not dwell on the characters, but on the events they were experiencing.
I couldn't put this book down and read the whole book in 2 days. If you like end time books... you will love this one. The characters are realistic and very believable. Mark Fisher follows the Bible, writing about the upcoming prophesies becoming fulfilled. Now I have to wait until October 2025 for #3 in this series...❤️
This is book 2 in the series and it picks up right where book 1 left off. This series follows the same timeline as “The Days of the Apocalypse” series, but follows different people (who sometimes interact with the folks from the other series). In book 1, Aurora receives a special book with prophesies. She and her brothers follow what is written even though it sometimes is hard to understand. Follow them as they travel and meet some interesting individuals who become important in their lives. There are many interesting twists and turns.
I enjoy reading end times books especially if they follow the Bible as much as possible. It gives us a good idea of what might happen though as a Christian I do not plan to be here (I believe in the pre-tribulation rapture). Mark presents the gospel very clearly in his books.
I received an advanced copy of this book, and this is my honest review.
I gave this novel a 5 star because the author followed scripture, and scripture was quoted and lived out. However, I would give a warning that in 2 or 3 small positions, it was a tad too graphic for me.
I have noticed that some Christian men authors, seem to be more prone to writing too much concerning violence or sexual content.
So I would not recommend this to those under 18 ( and even then, at almost 80, I could have done without those portions)
I love this series! And I can't wait for the next book to come out. However this book, I felt, did not carry the same excitement as the first. I also felt the revelation timeline was off. Already 3 years into the Tribulation and Eli is just showing up at the Temple Mount. Still it is a good read and like I said can't wait for the next installment!

After reading book 1, I was hoping book 2 would be an improvement but unfortunately its not. Really disappointed in the last few books from Mark Fisher. Some of his earlier books were much better
This is a good story and does a good job with scripture. I will say the voyage- to keep from giving the story away - did seem to drag on for a longtime. Still it’s a good read with a good ending leading to the next book.
Book 2 is every bit as good as book 1. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series. Thankfully, I ordered the first 3. So far, that's all that is available. I highly recommend all of Mark E. Fisher's books.
Thank you for the reminder of Psalm 102…. Such a great series…The times are ripe and the storyline are perfect for those believers and unbelievers….Thank you Jesus for your love….thank you for the author of a great series…
