This book provides a hands-on approach to learning how to build a Constellation application with the Pega Platform from start to finish. It is a structured walk through the process of building a Pega Platform application, using Blueprint, Constellation, App Studio, Dev Studio, and DevOps. It is targeted at multiple audiences, (1) an experienced system or business architect who is interested in learning the capabilities of the latest Pega Platform, (2) someone new to Pega who is going through the enablement process for the first time, or (3) anyone who is curious, and wants to explore the capabilities of the Pega Platform with a focus on Constellation. The user is expected to have completed the following pre-requisite (1) Introduction to Pega Platform, and (2) Low-Code App Builder. The book is organized into a series of chapters that follow a logical path which starts with installing the Pega Platform, creating the application and configuring the three pillars and the DevOps environment, then proceeding to configuring the application, and finally deploying the application using the DevOps continuous delivery features.
