This incredibly feel-good read is the second book in the series "Love Takes the Stage" that can be enjoyed as a standalone, but reading it after the first book, "The Jewels of January", would surely enhance the experience.

I loved this book! It was the second book in Love Takes the Stage. It is a standalone so technically you don’t have to read the Jewels of January but you should because Julia is an amazing writer.
I enjoyed how both Lucy and Ricardo both felt like had something to live up to all while wanting something different from themselves. It made the characters real and relatable. I also enjoyed the culture of Mexico City was. It was like traveling in a book with great food recommendations. There were many things of this book I enjoyed and I cannot wait to see where more this series takes off.
It is a clean romance, quick read and full of fun.
