Melody Mode has knocked it out the park with her debut fantasy novel. If you like multiple kingdoms, dragons, elemental magic, war, love & betrayal then this is definitely for you.
Rae queen of the 6 kingdoms she must do what she can to stop a war. She battles chaos but will she win. Rae also has her heart torn between Kaden & Caspian
With Kaden she has a childhood past although she does not remember it and with Caspian it just feels right. Just to let you all know I was team Caspian after a few chapters in.
I like how the side characters all play a pivotal role in the story, but in all honesty Melody why ohh why what did Llyana ever do, you are cruel.
This had my emotions all over the shot, by the end I am sure I had my battle cry ready to go. Please be warned this ends on a cliffhanger.

Deliciously addictive fantasy read.

Kaden - Remembers the girl who was the one thing that kept him aliv3 in his captivity, he knew that she was the one he loves, but in a world of bl00d, loss and destruction, can Kaden keep the chaos at bay? With his lieutenant Caspian, who was born into the same destructive fate, they are supposed to be the enemies, but there is a bond between the three of them that shouldn't exist, can the three make things work or will the fate they was destined for takeover?
Can a bond put the fire embers out of the fate they are supposed to follow? or will the destructive fire ignite and take the whole kingdom down?
This is a beautifully written fantasy novel, one which is the first one by this author. This novel will capture you hook line and sinker, I was captured and absolutely loved it!
So much magic, chaos, twists and turns that got you hooked from the start, it has a lot of magical elements in and dragons, it gave me a game of thrones vibes with the dragons. The fates and bonds were perfectly written.
This book is the first novel I had read by this author and I can honestly say it will not be the last, the way this author got her fantasy story-line to blend and flow well, the character development throughout the story is brilliant! It has made me want and crave more of her delicious words.
I can't wait to see where the next installment takes us.
This novel does end on a cliffhanger, one that will make you want to re read the whole book whilst waiting for the next book to come.

You ever start a book thinking, Oh, this will be a fun fantasy adventure only to find yourself emotionally devastated, questioning your life choices, and side-eyeing the author like they personally wronged you? Yeah. That’s Reign of Chaos & Fire.
Melody Mode absolutely delivers in her debut fantasy novel, weaving together dragons, elemental magic, war, betrayal, and just the right amount of spice to make you reconsider how attached you should get to these characters (answer: don’t, but you will anyway). The story is packed with twists, turns, and moments that make you yell WHAT?! WHY?! loud enough to startle innocent bystanders. I practically dislocated my neck from the number of times I snapped my head around in shock.
The side characters? Fantastic. Each one brings something unique to the table. And then there’s Llyana. Melody, I hope your pillow is always warm. WHY DID YOU DO THAT? I TRUSTED YOU.
And let’s talk about Rae and Kaden. Their childhood bond? Beautifully heart-melting. The fact that Rae doesn’t remember him? Pain. The moment she does remember? Gut-wrenching. Because Kaden is not the boy she once knew he’s darkness wrapped in chaos, war simmering in his veins. And now? Okay, so I just devoured Reign of Chaos and Fire by Melody Mode, and wow, what a ride! (No pun intended) Honestly, from the first page, I was just sucked right into this incredible world she's built. The details are so rich, and the dragons? Oh my goodness, they are absolutely magnificent! The way Melody Mode brings them to life – their power, their majesty, and even their individual personalities – is just breathtaking. I was completely captivated by every scene they were in. And the characters? Seriously, I felt like I was right there with them, cheering them on and feeling all their ups and downs.
The way the story unfolds is just brilliant. There's always something happening, keeping you on the edge of your seat. And just when you think you know where things are going, BAM! Melody Mode throws in a twist that totally catches you off guard. Plus, the magic in this world is so cool and feels like a natural part of everything. And can we talk about the FMC? Her sass is just chef's kiss.

The Queen has entered her fantasy writing era, and I am here for it. It is exciting to see my favorite authors explore their creative side, and expand their writing genres. Melody, definitely did not disappoint with Reign of Chaos & Fire. Which is the first book in the series Kingdoms of Alaysia. My girl, likes to leave her readers on the edge of their seat with her cliffhangers. She definitely, knows how to keep her readers attention and wanting more. Are you a fan of far away realms and dragons, if so I think you’ll love Reign of Chaos & Fire.
Now, if you know me you already know that I am a Kaden girl, Caspian can step aside. My mind is traveling in several different directions as to where the cliffhanger at the end of the story will lead. In my opinion, Reign of Chaos & Fire has a coherent cohesive storyline with intriguing character dynamics. I do not read a whole lot of fantasy books but Melody knocked it out of the realm with this one.

Another amazing series started by Melody Mode, she is just an amazing new author…well not as new anymore as she’s been around for about a year now but I will never tire of her works. Every book I’ve read so far has knocked me off my feet. I can rave enough about her books. This one is no different. I am so not a fantasy reader…I’m more of a mystery/dark romance kinda woman but man as always Melody does not disappoint!!! I had to take a few days to let the read simmer in my mind before I could share my thought with those that haven’t devoured it yet. But in my opinion you should. Take that chance, jump in and enjoy the ride. Because it is a ride…on the back of a dragon no less lol. From light to chaos and back again. To water to fire. To earth to the stars and so much further. It has it all!!! Romance, passion, soulmates, friendships, betrayal, war and even murder and Mayhem. Everything you as a romance reader could ask for is in this one read. I couldn’t put it down.

For someone who doesn’t ready much fantasy I can say this book had me HOOKED! Melody Mode transports you back to another world you wish you could be a part of. From the moment it started with Kaden in the prologue you become curious of what is to come. Melody gives you the right amount of everything you need. With our Queen Rae who is fearless, loyal & a complete bad a** who you want on your side. Remember my little mention of our friend Kaden? Well, we also have Caspian. Can you sense a love triangle? A why choose? I can’t give you all the tea but these men are hot! Broody alphas who only have eyes for one. Who will get the girl? What will come next? I guess you better get your read on so we can gossip about our love for this book. Even if you are like me and not into fantasy give it a try I promise you will love every word of it.

I truly don't know how Melody does it. Am not a big fan of fantasy books, but she is one of my must-read authors. This book was terrific. The characters and worlds pull you in from the beginning. Throughout this book , I was trying to guess who is going to end up with whom. Who were the scrolls referring to? There were a few twists and turns that were not expected, and I threw my kindle over them. I can't wait until book 2 comes out. That ending still has me throwing out different theories.

War, love, lies, prophecies, magic betrayals, spice, shocking twists, and so much more. This book had it all! The mental image I had while reading made me ache to visit the beautiful world of Alaysia. With elements of Light, Air, Fire, Earth, Water, and even Chaos, I'm not sure what's in store for us throughout this series, but I cannot wait to find out! This is absolutely a page turner, throw the book across the room, can't stop thinking about it, desperately wanting more type of novel. Loved it.

I loved this! This is such an awesome book with all the great stuff I love! Magic, betrayal, love, soulmates, dragons!! It had it all! This is an amazing book! I'm still trying to figure out who she'll end up with, or maybe both? Her & Kaden have a bond from when they were young, but her & Caspian have an undeniable bond as well. There's so much happening in the background here. There are secrets & they haven't all come to light yet. I cannot wait until the next one, I highly recommend this book & author!

Melody Mode is one of my favorite authors! This fantasy book made me feel so many emotions. It really has everything- dragons, love, hate, magic. The way Melody Mode writes, I can picture things happening. She truly is amazing. Caspian, Kaden and Rae; I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book!!

Absolutely loved this book. Is there's anything Melody can't write, I love how she has brought the dragons alive in this world and I really can't wait for book 2 in the series. If you like fantasy, dragons, waring courts with hard headed women and swoon worthy men then you will not be disappointed with this book.

This is an exciting start to a new fantasy series. The story follows Kaden and Rae, and a prophecy that ultimately is their destiny. It is a forbidden romance and is told from multiple points of view. I loved getting to know the different characters and looking forward to seeing how they develop in the series. Best of all, there are dragons and bad ass female which makes it an awesome read!

This is Melody Modes first fantasy and she crushed it! And of course it ends on a cliff hanger! This book has it all! Dragons,dragon riders,elementals, queens and kings, chaos born shadow wielders, betrayal,heartache,and death! I loved every word in this book!

Ohhh man if you are a fan or dragons and elemental magic then this book is exactly what you need! It was such an amazing read that I devoured it in one sitting! This book will keep you hooked from page one and leave you wanting more at the end! Melody you did it again this was simply amazing!

Who knew Melody Mode could swoop into a fantasy story setting like she's been writing this genre for years? Yep, me. Had no doubt she would deliver. This story is magical, sexy, and even dragon-y. Great tension, spicy scenes, and a plot that leaves me wanting to know more!

This was an amazing read! It is different than her previous books, but she sure can write fantasy! I LOVED the dragons! This book has everything! Anger, love, sass, heartbreak, betrayal. Kaden is a great character and I’m so curious how their story will end

Great debut fantasy book! There are so many twists and turns. And dragons! The storyline is fantastic and is filled with great characters. War is coming, and I have no idea what is going to happen. And, of course, a cliffhanger that had me yelling! I definitely recommend this book!

At first I need to say I don’t read fantasy books but I love this authors words so thought I give it ago
I absolutely loved it was hooked from the first page
It reminded me of Romeo & Juliet meets How to train your Dragon but with a twist . At one point I did think it was going to be a RH which again I’m not a fan of but no was just another twist in the plot
Can wait for the conclusion
