This cookbook provides a number recipes from every continent. The major strength of this cookbook is that most of these exotic dishes are created using pantry staples, making this a very family (and budget) friendly supplement your study of world geography. We've tried four recipes so far (Moussaka, Pizza Margarita, Bobotie, and Peanut Bread). They were all simple to make and delicious (and didn't require a special trip to the grocery store).

This would be a great book to use for a multicultural unit. It contains a variety of recipes along with an explanation of the traditions that go along with the recipes. In addition, it gives some basic tips and helpful hints for young cooks including how to crack an egg and grease a pan.

I had the book as a child and remember absolutely loving the ginger and coconut chicken. Well, 20 years on and I suddenly get a craving to try it again, ordered the book and it's just as tasty! Really simple cookbook too.
