WOWWWW I loved this. I'm pretty sure I'll love all of Meg Eliza's books after falling in love with both Creed and now this book too!

Adris is called the Cupid Killer and is a hitman for hire. He ends up getting hired for a job and comes face to face with his long lost childhood best friend and love of his life Odessa. Odessa went missing years ago and ended up being sold to another mafia man. She has a lot of trauma and when these two come face to face again she's ready for him to unalive her. But neither could prepare themselves for the realization of who each other were and are to one another. <3

Umm also, I think this might somehow become an MMMF? Maybe?

You are going to want to read this! I am not bias [even though I do love Meg Eliza], I truly think she is a fantastic author who writes complex characters who you cannot help but fall in love with, even if they are supposed to be "unredeemable". I found Meg when I read her book CREED: A Dark Sins Duet (Book One) and have been hooked ever since. When I saw that she was writing TWAHK, I needed it asap and was not disappointed. I mean, the dedications starts out with

“To the hoes who look at a murderous psychopath and think, “I can fix him”. Sure you can, Sweetheart. Xx- Adris.”

How could you not want to read that!

Adris Knox is no exception to this, he is completely flawed in absolutely every single way. Do not read this book if you are not completely down for a unhinged MMC who's only redeeming quality is how much he is obsessed with his Wraith. This man is a serial deleter hitman for hire who is a psychopath, but like in all the best ways 💀

“I’m your psychopath, baby. And now there’s nowhere you could go that could keep me from finding you. Even if it’s right into a goddamned grave.”

Odessa [Wraith] is strong where she needs to be. To say that she has been handed a shit life is an understatement. She has been beaten, abused, and has contemplated giving up multiple times [understandably so]. Adris comes into her life again, and "manhandles" her into loving him and giving her reasons to continue on. This support gives us a FMC who gets a backbone and gets the revenge that she deserves.

"You’ve always been mine, Odessa. You say you’re broken?” He draws me back in and I lift my head and his bright, silver eyes hold me captive. “Then give me the most jagged edges of your soul and I’ll give you the most depraved pieces of mine. I’ll fit them together so tightly that you’ll never again be capable of telling where I begin and you end.”

I devoured this book in less than a day, and I absolutely need the next book now cause I need to know what is going to happen with Calix, Rune, Odessa & Adris like I need my next breath. Give this book a chance, I think you will fall in love.

Woah! There is so much packed in to this novella and it is everything. Nearly right from the start the action happens and umm hello, Adris is absolutely unhinged. And he’s a quirky one too… love when they’re silly with themselves but at the same time, absolutely feral. Then there’s Odessa. A feisty gal who has lost her spark. But hehehe, here comes Adris. Love how he can read her and how she feeds off of him too. It’s like her breathes life back in to her.

And y’all.. the spice. Oh my gooodness. We’ve got a mix of everything and I’m still squirming.

I’m having a difficult time NOT spoiling anything with my review so I’m ending it with.. y’all want a super spicy, fun, and wild ride with the length of a novella? Then this one’s for you. I’m obsessed.

This is out May 30th!

A dark romance with a mafia vibe to it! It’s addicting and the pacing is done so well being a novella. I’m honestly in awe, Meg has this way of connecting you to the characters with her effortless descriptions and not making it too overly complex. She’s straight to the point, but also gives you that emotional connection you crave.

Adris? This man has so many red flags and I loved it. He’s possessive, a fucking menace and damn the stamina this man has with Odessa 😂 I was sweating. I love the mark he leaves when he’s finished with a job. Literally obsessed with that.

And Odessa, that girl has been through hell and back, and my god by the end I was cheering her on. It takes a tough woman to withstand what she had to go through and damn, her strength was undeniable.

Calix and Rune. These boys are a good time, that’s all I’ll say about that. ( I also want more… 🤭)

Does he kill her? No. But he does everything he can to fuck the life out of her and also get revenge for her past. This was a really fast-paced story with alot of spice (170 pages)

adris is so fucking unhinged i swear i got multiple whiplashes just from his presence alone 💀 he is a hitman called the cupid killer. when he was hired for a job, he never knew he’d come face to face with the love of his life / childhood bestie odessa 🥹 odessa was sold to the highest bidder, another mafia man, many years ago. the shit she went through … omg i just want to hug her. she’s trying to move on with her life and heal from all those trauma. but when she saw adris after all these years again, she simply gave up. she’s just waiting for him to finish the job 😔 it all comes down to who realizes who they are to each other first

i went into blind as fuck 😩 literally had no idea what to expect but i did not expect this !!! the way this packed a god damn punch ??!! it was angsty, intense right from the jump, feral, and full of tension !! this novella definitely took my throat, wrangled it up a couple times, snapped my neck, and then revived me 🤌🏼 i need more so bad i might actually crash out !!

This was an okay, short novella. The blurb sounded great, and both the characters and storyline were interesting.

Going in, I knew this was a novella, and I don’t have issues with short books, but in my opinion, there was too much crammed into the story, which made the plot feel quite rushed at times. There wasn’t really much time for character or relationship development. Yes, character and relationship development still happened, but it felt rushed, without giving either the reader or characters time to process what’s going on.

Not a bad story by any means, and something I might read again if I’m in the mood for something quick and easy to read.

Wraith, the FMC of this story has a price on her head. Her assassin turns out to know her, a ghost of his past. Instead of carrying out his contract he kidnaps her. Their story comes together with them learning what happened to one another until it all comes burning down around them.

Honestly, it’s such a quick read with a storyline that fits into the narrative.

This fkn book had me kicking my little fkn feet in glee and swooning. I don’t care what that says about me. I ate up this fkn novella like I’ve been starved for a week. It’s on the longer side of a novella, so it won’t go super fast unless you can’t put it down like me.

Odessa is the bastard mafia princess of the Pahkan of the Kuznetsov bratva, who has been held captive for 10 years, being used and abused as a servant and slave. She was torn away from her family and dreamed of the boy who has claimed her heart to come and rescue her, but he never came. No one did. She was ready to give up, already dead inside, until she was face to face with the Cupid K!ller.

Odessa is strong as fk for all the sht she went through. She’s got her own monster that Adris coaxes out of hiding. They both crave each other and the pleasure that comes along with pain.

Adris. Oh Adris, you absolute fkn maniacal psychopath. His inner monologue is so fucking hilarious, I was cackling while highlighting. Like, “is that an evil witch in the woods” kind of cackle. Adris blames Odessa for the way he is, but you adorable giant freak, you were always not quite right and we thank you for that.

This book has two of my favorite, like all time favorite, side characters Calix “tenderheart” Sterling (another cackle at the inner monologues of Adris) and “Daddy” Rune Volkov (ok that one came from me and I’m not sorry). The dynamic between them is nothing short of breathtaking.

The pacing is good, it’s funny, it’s dark, there’s the right amount of plot without it getting overly complicated, it leaves you wanting me (in a good way), and the spice is top tier. This novella packs a bunch and left my MOTHER FKN JAW ON THE MOTHER FKN FLOOR DURING THE EPILOGUE. The good news? This isn’t the end of the story! I’m not ok 🥵🫠Check your trigger warnings on this one.

After reading Creed, Meg Eliza became an author I needed to follow, so when I saw she was releasing a
book about a serial killer and a mafia princess, I had to read it immediately.

The Wraith & Her Killer starts with a young Odessa, struggling to sleep when a boy enters her room to comfort her.

Odessa's mother takes her away in the night to start a new life. Sadly, Odessa's mother dies, and Odessa is sold into slavery. Her captor, Santino, assaults her multiple times until he hires a hitman to kill her. Adris is a serial killer known as The Cupid Killer because of his M.O. Also, the hitman hired to kill Odessa. When he finds her tied up and ready to die, that's not what stops him. It's because she is the girl that left..she is his little ghost.

TWHK is significantly shorter than CREED, but these characters are just as memorable. Adris is an obsessed, lovable pyscho. Odessa is a black cat in a pink bow. This book is dark (serial killer/mafia CHECK YOUR TRIGGERS), spicy, and funny. I hope to see more of them in the future Meg Eliza books.

These 2 were without question made for each other.
Adris, aka. The Cupid Killer is a phenomenal character. He's completely mental 🤣 his sarcastic wit was brilliant, I laughed so many times at his words.
Odessa, despite her trauma, took her pain and rage and chose not to allow it to define her - with Adris' help, of course.
He doesn't see her as a poor, helpless victim, nor does he treat her like one, encouraging her at every opportunity. Despite his, well, insanity, because there's no other definition to his character 🤣 he identified her needs and desires whilst pushing her to embrace them .. i really loved him.

Briefly - that second epilogue 🥵 hot, hot, hot!

The way I completely inhaled this book, ugh SO GOOD. I was gripped from the first page, so much was packed into it and I was having the best time. It was so intense from the get go, it was angsty, it was unhinged and feral in the absolute best way. The tension was constantly there…. The spice was PERFECTION. I went into the story almost completely blind, and I had no idea how the story was going to go but I loved every single minute of it. It blew me away, in the best way! 🫠

Adris had me absolutely howling…. Such great character traits. He was absolutely EVERYTHING…. like I’m obsessed with him (give me 14 of em right now). Ugh that man…. 🧎🏻‍♀️🧎🏻‍♀️Daddy Adris has me weak.

Odessa was a force, her character progression was beautiful and I love the way Adris brought that fierce queen out of her! What a power couple…

I really struggle with novella’s because I always feel like you can’t pack much into them, but damn meg did an amazing job. It was full… so much was thrown in, like I couldn’t put it down. I flew through it in almost one sitting, could have done it in one easily but I started it late in the evening. The ending was YUMMY. It left me hungry for more….. like what do I do now?! Wait? Ugh…. I need more.

The breath play 🤤 the pain.. the possessiveness - damn! For a novella, the character growth was surprisingly deep, and I loved every second of their chaotic bond.

Fair warning: This is not for the faint of heart. When Adris says he’ll burn the world for her, he means it - literally.
The revenge scenes? Graphic. Satisfying. Brutal.

As for the side characters? I need their stories yesterday. And yes, I definitely wouldn’t have minded a bit more sharing 🤭 but what we got was absolutely delicious. Meg did a fantastic job with this!!

It had like a Carrie (the horror movie) vibe meets 365 (that hot movie on Netflix) but like BETTER!!! Meg fit so much in such a short book and it was perfect and had me craving more and never wanting the story to end!

Chapter 12 immediately brought that new TikTok trend song “That Was Rude. That was really F’in rude” and I was like so heartbroken but also cracking up that this is was popped in my head so aggressively.

The plot twists, the spice, the characters were all absolutely delicious! You will go through a rollercoaster of emotions and thank her at every turn!

Oh, did I say the LAST series I read was shallow? That pit can always be dug deeper, my friends. And this book is just the one to do it.

Starting with the ever-so-flimsy nickname origin story: the FMC is depressed enough to say thank you to her would-be killer when he asks for her last words, so he calls her *Wraith* (weirdly always italicized in this book, like the author wasn’t sure it was a real word) because she’s… close to death? Idk it’s really weak. And also it’s just a bad choice for a nickname because you have to like, sneer when you say it. You know?

The MMC is real edgy and talks about his “dead heart” stuttering when he’s worried about her or whatever. He’s not literally undead or anything. He’s just a contract killer.

But none of that is as bad as the scene where they go to confront the villain at his safe house. The MMC has a team of three men and one traumatized former sex slave. The villain has “two dozen” security guys on the outside of his house and more inside. “Amateur,” the MMC scoffs. Like this is Assassin’s Creed.

His big plan for breaching the building? Walk in the front door, guns blazing, with the FMC behind him. And it works! The only problem is, once they get to the villain’s office, the Law of Conservation of Ninjutsu applies; they knock out the guy they came for instead of Killing Bill instantly, because they had a plan to torture and kill him in a specific way, but then the MMC’s father is there—whatwhatwhaaat?—and he’s an even Bigger Baddie than that first guy. And he’s got all the ninjutsu because the backup is dead!

So the comms stop working and suddenly our MC’s boyfriend backup doesn’t know where they are, the MMC gets shot in the chest, passes out dramatically and then the house gets blown up with everyone but the FMC and the villains inside (I assume; it’s not really clear where anyone is at this point, just a BOOM and fade to empty casket funeral. Orchestrated by the FMC for some reason even though she barely knew any of them and I think the MMC had parents—villains, I’ll give you, but nevertheless next of kin. Although come to think of it, I suppose anyone can buy an empty casket and have it interred if they have the money to pay for it. But this is the 65% mark of the book and there’s no body so yall know he ain’t dead. A third act breakup by any other name is still a parting.)

Now that we’ve gone over the cheesy video game sequence that whole heist turned out to be, let’s circle back to the biggest, most pathetic issue that we haven’t even touched on yet: the “romance.” Such as it is.

The story begins with the MMC dutifully reporting to a murder contract with no real intel, just an address and target age/gender/initial. Normally, he says, he checks out his targets to make sure they are bad hombres before he whacks them, but this one apparently has to get done tonight. So he heads down there in his murder gear just to check it out—out of curiosity, he claims.

(But then later his dad says “you’ve never once not followed through on a kill contract.” This would be a fascinating hint that the MMC is an unreliable narrator—if I trusted the author to have the ability to pull something like that off—but I don’t. Pretty sure it’s a mistake.)

So, big surprise, the target is the FMC, a girl he’s pined for since she was 13, whose heart he had “claimed” in this creepy-ass moment in the prologue:

> “He was the son of the enforcer. I’d never learned his name, and he didn’t speak much, but he was always there. For years, he was my constant, always hovering. There was a moment when I awoke from a nightmare to find him sitting cross-legged at the end of my bed, his head tilted to the side like my screams were the most interesting thing in the world. He wasn’t concerned with comforting me, but reveled in soaking up my terror. 

> As odd as he was, he swallowed my fear until I had none left inside of me. He consumed it all. Consumed me. Like a delicacy. It’s like he decided in that moment that I was his, because he crawled over to me and placed a careful hand on my chest, right over my heart. He dug his nails into my skin to the point of bleeding, like he wanted to reach into my chest to actually touch my heart as he whispered, ‘This is mine,’ before moving his grip to my throat and squeezing hard enough to feel my pulse stutter. ‘Every beat of it, mine.’”

Apparently she had scars there from his fingernails. Bro… That kid is *messed up.*

But then the very next night after that horrifying incident, her mom bailed on the bratva (I wonder why?), got shot and the child FMC got taken. MMC never knew what happened to her.

Until now, when he finds her bruised and depressed in the villain’s home. She thanks him for his service, he recognizes her, now you’re all caught up. So, what’s a deranged antihero to do? He takes her to his boyfriends’ (yes plural) house in the woods, where she tries to run; he runs her down, knocks her to the ground, carves his initial into her skin and then rapes her until she falls unconscious. Then he carries her to the shower and rapes her again. Pops out to the living room to talk to his boyfriends, who are also adoptive brothers by the way (ew) and they make a plan to go kill the guy who beat up the FMC because… when all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.

The guy is halfway across the world in a safe house in Italy where, incidentally, the FMC was held captive for 5 years from 13-18 and it’s *so sad for her* because she didn’t speak any Italian so she couldn’t report the truth to anyone. She managed by sheer force of will to never learn a word of Italian even after living with this rapist (the villain, silly, not the MMC, how could you possibly be confused?) who regularly speaks Italian to her, calling her gross pet names. (Unlike Wraith which is a perfectly cromulent pet name.) Woe is she.

Anyway they fly to Italy, where they do the heist, and now you’re all caught up. If you’re wondering why the FMC is hosting a funeral for the MMC *and* his two boyfriends, me too. The boyfriends hardly even talked to her.

Cut to the FMC, deeply in mourning for the rapist (no, the OTHER one) and his incesty boyfriends, and it turns out that the villain is gonna get away with it all because the villain has told the FMC’s dad that she’s mentally unstable and that’s why she’s insisting that he’s a creep and his buddy is a sadistic rapist who imprisoned her for 10 years. Dad is all too willing to go along with this narrative. Look, he’ll pay for empty caskets for her friends, but he draws the line at listening to a woman.

So here she is, a mafia Princess, locked in a tower, beset by a security team, waiting for her sadistic rapist prince to come back from the dead and rescue her. Ideally before the evil scheming Boris manages to become her third rapist of this week! Alas, Papa is too blinded to see that he probably shouldn’t marry off his mentally unstable prisoner-daughter against her will to a man old enough to be her father:

> “‘ I will not lose another—lose you, again.’

> ‘Sir?’ Boris asks, as if he’s completely clueless as to what’s going on. 

> My father has the good sense to look remorseful. ‘I propose a marriage to further protect you, my little one.’

> ‘No,’ I whisper, but Boris places his hand on my knee and squeezes so tight that I know it will leave another bruise. 

> ‘I’m sorry, Odessa. I know I just got you back, but I fear this must be done.’”

Lord knows what the Pakhan thinks the creepy old enforcer is going to do to protect her that he couldn’t do himself, in his own home, without any sexual assault. But then we wouldn’t get the very cinematic moment on her wedding day where the FMC is standing in the hallway waiting for her dad to turn up when a suspicious guard wearing a newsboy cap pulled low to hide his features hands her a bouquet made of dead flowers (lol get it?) and then just as she’s discovering the secret message hidden within, she turns around and a door opens on its own to reveal a shocking scene! A bloody massacre of dead mooks! How can this be—she heard nothing?

Rather than running or attempting to contact the authorities or calling for backup, the FMC advances down the aisle in apprehension, appreciating the bloodstains marring the gently fluttering gossamer veil that conceals the altar from view (conceals the what now? Uhh, maybe it was a Jewish wedding and somebody knocked over the chuppah??) and surprises, it’s rapist #2, back from the dead, who could have predicted this?

Our adorable psychotic MMC, whom they call the “Cupid Killer” because he stabs his victims in the heart with arrows and leaves conversation hearts candy on their eyelids, came with the perfect wedding ring to represent this sham of a marriage:

> “I have no idea where the hell he got the ring from, but it’s a breathtaking marquis diamond set in yellow gold, surrounded by a crown of smaller, round diamonds. What leaves me speechless, though, is the solitaire blood diamond that rests at the bottom point of the main diamond. Because it’s been cut into the shape of a heart.”

Um, does she mean rubies? Otherwise how can she be so certain that the heart-cut gem was sourced from 100% genuine murderous cartels enacting mass suffering and disenfranchisement of the global south? Also, wow dude, way to make the big day all about YOU. What if she doesn’t want a big fat Cupid Killer themed cocktail ring that’s impossible to match to her outfits?

She correctly points out that he doesn’t know a single thing about her and that they might tire of each other within a week, and he derangedly opens up a half healed cut on her hand, licks the blood, and says “don’t worry baby, I’ll make it fit.” (Or something. lol) “Your personality and desires don’t matter because I’m the main character. Now hurry up and say ‘I do,’ because you know that gunshot wound from a month ago, yeah the one that you thought killed me, like you literally heard my heart stop and my lips went blue? Well it still kinda hurts, my Vicodin is gonna wear off in about an hour and I need to save some strength for the consummation-rape.”

They don’t actually end up saying vows by the way; the MMC gives his little speech, but the priest interrupts to say “that’s not how this works” (why was there a priest ready to marry these two people at a bloody murder scene with their two dead dads in the witness chairs?) so the MMC just murders him, cuts her out of the dress and carries her out of there over his shoulder, caveman-style, wounds be damned, incest boyfriends toddling along after him like baby ducks covered in fresh blood and scabbed-over burns.

The end.

Except for the three epilogues of sex scenes. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Do what you gotta do.

The way I fell so hard and fast for this book! My gosh. Adris, the serial unaliver, is unhinged in the best of ways. Odessa has lived through some of the most deplorable shit imaginable, but her fire is still burning in the depths of her being. And Adris is the one to stoke the fire, bringing her hidden embers to a burning blaze of wrath and vengeance. I f***ing LOVED it! This is a fast past novella, filled with unaliving and depravity, pain and pleasure. It may seem illogical to some, but I found it intriguing from beginning to end. Now I need more!

Adris had stolen Odessa’s heart when they were just young teens, but the life that could’ve been, was stripped away. Each becoming a shell of their former selves, one painting the country in red, the other giving up on barely existing. Now, years later, they are unconventionally forced back into each other’s lives. There will be no letting Odessa fade into the ether. Adris will have none of that. Instead, he will find answers and drag Odessa, along with the only two people in the world he trusts, to exact revenge in the most satisfying way possible.

This story had so many wonderfully dark elements, with deliciously deranged spice 🥵 Ohh I loved every minute of. it, ALL! You may want to check the trigger warnings before you dive into this novella; I however was here for it. I don’t want to give anything away, just know that it is a quick, dark read, with *slightly* psychotic characters that you are going to fall hard and fast for!

Oh, Meg Eliza. Ma’am. You had me eating this up from page one! I devoured it and you left me WANTING. Like, 🫠. I can’t wait to see what else this new series has in store! What a way to start. Thank you so much for the ARC! I will be impatiently waiting for more of your words so that I can gobble them up too! 😂

Book Review: The Wraith & Her Killer by Meg Eliza

This dark mafia romance novella pushes the boundaries of love and hate.

She finds herself drawn to a man who appears to be everything she should avoid, yet somehow, he becomes the exact balance of tormentor and protector she craves.

"The name you'll be calling out when it comes to my c*ck and your body, is Adris."

The relationship dynamics in this book are complex, tension-filled, and sexy as hell. Together, they must navigate what was, what is, and what could be. This book also explores relationship boundaries in both MM and MF pairings, where some acts begin out of need but evolve into emotional wants.

"Lines were drawn in societal norms by jealous men, and tell me where the f*ck any of us fit into society."

I was immediately drawn into Meg's writing—her ability to build characters and storylines with so much emotion and psychological suspense is incredible. I was completely hooked from the first chapter. While this was a novella, and I definitely wanted more, I still feel it was well-written and stayed focused on the core narrative without unnecessary diversions.

After finishing this book, I just wanted to dive back in.

Adris and Odessa.. I have no words to describe the roller coaster this novella took me on. As a girl who normally doesn't like fast burns - I ate this up. Meg has a way of just drawing you into her stories and making you fall for the characters so completely.

These two go through a LOT in this novella and Odessa's spirit just spoke to me. As someone who has struggled with my mental health and even now sometimes just wishing it would all end - I felt her heartbreak, I felt her brokenness and my heart hurt for her. She was kidnapped as a child and forced into being a sexual "toy" once she turned 18 by a POS and she's just tired of being abused. So when Adris stumbles into her life - sent a contract to unalive her, she accepts it and doesn't fight it..til they both realize they know each other.

Adris is so unintentionally funny, I loved him so much. He's a pyschopath hitman for hire and he is probably lacking a bit in the empathy department: he's stoic and doesn't really show emotions but, he'd do anything for his Wraith and his main goal? Make her want to live again. And I loved he could be that for her, that he gave her reason to fight again and helped show her SHE could a weapon on her own and take revenge for the wrongs done to her.

Calix and Rune? Loved their part as side characters and cannot wait to see their story unfold and how they fit together with O and A. That epilogue was 🔥. Meg truly is a force as a writer and I'm so lucky to know her and be blessed by her stories.

I was not prepared to be this obsessed.

This book? Unhinged in the best way. Dark, dirty, emotional, and completely addictive. I picked it up thinking I’d get a quick hit of spice and chaos, but it gave so much more. It’s one of those reads that grabs you right away and doesn’t let go.

Adris is an absolute MENACE. Cold, calculated, and terrifyingly calm, but the second Odessa comes back into the picture, it’s GAME OVER. He’s not just a killer; he’s obsessed, and somehow, it works. Every time he showed up, I had to brace myself. He’s brutal, but the way he softens (just barely) around her? Yeah… I freaking swooned. What really caught me off guard, though, is how unintentionally funny he is. He delivers the most insane lines (“another day, another body”) like they’re completely normal, and it had me laughing out loud more than once. I ADORE him.

And Odessa? She isn’t just a survivor, she’s the slow-burn kind of strong that creeps up on you. At first, it’s easy to see her as the broken girl in a brutal world, but the further you get, the more you realize just how sharp she is beneath the surface. Her trauma isn’t used for shock value, it’s part of her, but it never defines her. She’s guarded, hesitant, and deeply human, which makes her growth feel so real. Watching her reclaim her body, her choices, and her voice felt powerful in a quiet, steady way. She doesn’t need to scream to be heard — her strength is in her silence, her resilience, and the way she refuses to disappear.

Their connection is messy and intense, full of that can’t-look-away kind of chemistry. It’s not sweet or soft, but it makes sense for who they are. You can feel the danger and desire on every page, and honestly, I ate it up. THE. WOODS. SCENE. BURNED INTO MY BRAIN! It was raw, a little unhinged, and somehow still emotional underneath all the heat.

Also… Rune and Calix? Absolutely L-O-V-E. I need more of them immediately. They added so much to the story without pulling focus. The kind of side characters who steal scenes without even trying.

I flew through this in one sitting. It’s short, but it doesn’t feel like anything’s missing. The plot, the spice, the tension—it’s all there. Meg Eliza somehow fits an entire emotional rollercoaster into this wild little novella, and now I need the next book like yesterday.

If you’re into dark romance that’s a little unhinged, emotionally charged, and hot enough to make you blush in public… don’t even think about it. Just read it.
