Under the smokey stage lights of my club, I watch an angel sing like she was made for sin.
She doesn't know it yet. But she's about to pay off a debt—with her total submission.

I took this empire from my own father.
Rebuilt it in blood.
Now, it’s time to claim my little angel—my ‘Angioletta’—and make her my queen.

Cassie Bellini is fire and attitude wrapped in temptation.
A body begging to be pleasured.
And bruises that tell me another man dared to touch what should belong to me.

Her bastard of a boyfriend owes me $101,000.
So I take her as payment.

101 nights.
$1,000 a night.
Until the debt is paid… or until she begs to stay.

The longer she’s in my bed, the deeper I sink.
And she whispers the words that change everything.

"I’m pregnant… and I think you killed my father."

I’ll burn down the world to atone for my sins and rip apart her secrets.
Any price. Anything. Anyone.

For her and our baby.

Sin & Secrets is book one of The Prince's Guild series. This is a full-length, standalone novel with a HEA, and morally gray situations, profanity, mild violence, and dark romance themes.

Cassandra Bellini leaves Ohio for New York in hopes of making it as a singer. She quickly learns that the boyfriend that brought her to New York isn’t everything he presented himself to be, turns out he owns the mafia a lot of money, in an attempt to pay them off he offers up Cass as payment.
Cassandra is to stay with Rocco, the head of the Guild, for a hundred days as payment, Rocco is not a man to go against, to betray or turn against. He is also sexy, dangerous and maybe not what Cass thinks he is.
As time goes by Cass finds herself getting more attached and her feelings start to grow for Rocco. Rocco knows this life isn’t for Cass, that just being with him puts her at risk, but he will do whatever it takes to keep her and their baby safe, maybe even give it all up.

This book was meh, not the best mafia I have read and not the worst. There wasn’t anything that got my attention and made me want to pick it up. It was just middle of the road.

Meh...

It wasn't a bad read, but the main characters felt a little immature, maybe? I could see this having been a great read. Instead, it shot itself in the foot. The writing was less than stellar, the inconsistencies in the story, the misspellings, the editing... it was all over the place. The premise was good. Everything else was meh! I won't be reading anything else by this author.

2.5⭐️ this story started off so strong but quickly dwindled. good concept just needs another good editing and some rewrites. The spice was glossed over and things felt rushed where you needed detail and other parts that didn’t add to the story dragged out. Rocco is suppose to be the Don but it didn’t feel like it at all. Cas runs to Mia once things are brought to light and she knows he didn’t do what she thought but she suddenly runs to his dad. That made zero sense…. Won’t be continuing the series.

The h made zero sense from beginning to end. I didn't like her at all. The H was likeable but not really a Mafia Don.

3 ⭐️ SOLID BUT NOT SPECTACULAR

This was an easy read with a decent storyline but it didn’t quite hit the mark for me. I enjoyed Cass and Rocco’s dynamic but the characters overall felt just okay - nothing I’m going to be raving about. It kept me entertained but it’s one of those books I’ll probably forget pretty quickly.

Solid but not spectacular.

She was lured out of small town, Ohio with the promise of the singing career. But the boyfriend, she thought cared about her really wanted to use her. She is trying to make a plan to escape his control , when he comes into the club and changes everything. He is the mafia don, the owner of the club. And he comes with trappings of his own. Instead of escaping mafia control she’s getting buried in it. He is in trans. The first time he sees her. There’s something about her that calls to him.. he has troubles all around him and the last thing he needs to do is get involved, but it can’t help himself. This is a romance with a happily ever after ending however, it is also a mafia story, and the drama arc plays heavily into the story. This is the first in the series and they are connected by the overarching mafia family storyline that runs through them, though the individual romance in each story, our stand alone. These two have strong chemistry and despite their circumstances, keep getting pulled together. Their spices passionate though I thought their connection was a little flat for me. I wanted more of their romance on the page. The drama arc was at the forefront in this with several sub arcs intertwining. If you like to read about the inner workings of mafia family, betrayal, and hierarchy while trying to avoid a mafia war, this one might be for you. If you want to read about a big bad mafia man falling for his woman and see that as the focus of the story than this might not be for you.

You might want to make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way. Cassandra is an amazing singer. She is lured away by fast money, big ways of making her dreams come true from her home in Ohio only to discover it was all lies she is in trouble and her only way out is to go to the head of The Guild for assistance. Rocco sexy as all get out head of The Guild isn’t a man you want on your radar, he is dangerous, ruthless, on a good day, deadly every day, protecting those he cares for and when he gives his word or his protection well you will have it. Cassandra goes to him for help with her situation the magnetic pull can’t be ignored they are instantly drawn to one another but dealing with her issues and his issues is a little more challenging then he planned but he intends to keep her safe she belongs to him, will he keep her protected, will those who lied to her come for her, will she get what was promised to her, will she become the singer she has always dreamed of beginning, will he get his issues ironed out, and can they find a path that works for both of them that leads to happiness?

Good Mafia Romance

Sins And Secrets by Sierra Voss is a Forced Proximity Mafia Romance and is book 1 in the Prince's Guild series.

Immediately, you're thrown right into the middle of a car chase. There's enough to give you an idea of what is going on, but you are also trying to catch up too. This hooked me completely, and the expertly written narrative kept me reading.

Not being familiar with this author, I was instantly drawn to her writing style. I loved the relaxed, conversational dialogue. It flows beautifully, and you have this sense of familiarity with the characters right from the very beginning.

The banter and conversation are superbly executed, and the pacing of the story keeps the reader engaged. Cas' character was fiery, apart from how she was in the beginning, she could hold her own, there times however, she was a hot head and contradictory in her words. Rocco was a likeable character, and his caring nature toward Cas was sweet. The chemistry between Rocco and Cas was palpable. It was a little insta love, but all the moving pieces made up for that.

There was plenty of action and suspense that kept you on the edge of your seat, and the story tied up quite nicely at the end. Not the ending I was expecting, but nevertheless a good one.

Overall, Sins & Secrets was a fast-paced, enjoyable read, perfect for fans of Mafia romance.

The main characters were both annoying at times and the author desperately needs an editor.

Cassandra knows that there’s a plan to get her away from her abusive boyfriend. Hell, she practically begged Rocco to help her. Yet, she doesn’t like that his plan involved bartering for her and so she’s mad. Make it make sense… Rocco promised not to touch you, you’ll be safe from your boyfriend who beats you, you don’t have to worry about food or shelter, and you were even offered the opportunity to travel. Why are you mad, girl? She’s ridiculous.

Then later Rocco holds himself accountable for killing her dad. Bro, you did not kill him. He shot himself. You retell the story several times and every time he shot himself. Your holding yourself accountable because you didn’t stop him from shooting himself!?! Shooting himself and not stopping him from shooting himself are two very different things. You lost you girl cause you wrongfully placed blame on yourself. Your just as dramatic as your girl.

Cassandra finds out she’s pregnant and immediately assumes that it’s a boy. This girl is young but apparently dumb too. There’s a 50/50 chance it might also be a girl so why are you negotiating with the former Don. Also, he’s the FORMER Don. He’s got no power. Use those brain cells girly!

New author for me and i loved the writing style! will def continue on with the series.

Cassie has been living in Ohio for most of her life but meets a guy that convinces her that he can help her make it big in New York so she moves with him.. only for him to turn into a controlling, abusive asshole. Not knowing what else to do, she turns to a Rocco, who she met in the club she sings at, for help after finding out he owns the club and is the don of the mafia.

Turns out the abusive asshole owns the mafia money so to get Cassie away from him, Rocco says he will take $1,000 off the loan amount for every night that Cassie spends with him.

-touch her and die
-lust at first sight
-hidden identity
-captive with benefits (in a consensual way)
-surprise pregnancy

Cass is such a sweet woman stuck in a no win situation, and the next thing she knows is her out is this powerful Guild boss. Rocco is taken by Cass immediately and he wants nothing else then to get her to safety. He is dealing with a no win situation that his father left him in plus trying to find a rat in his organization. Nothing will stop him from keeping his woman safe. Cass is so not into this type of life and judges things she doesn't know on every corner. There are a lot of suprises in this book that keep you on the edge of your seat. The chemistry between this couple is hot and so much fun to read. This is a must have!!

This is the first book in of The Prince's Guild dark mafia series, but is read as a standalone. This is Cassandra and Rocco’s story. He is the head of the Guild and they meet when she comes to him for help. She was a singer who was lured away from her home with what turned out to be lies and broken promises. Rocco is facing a lot of trouble as he tries to clean up his father’s mess. Their chemistry is strong as are their personalities. The book is captivating from the beginning and it will definitely keep your interest. An HEA you’ll like. I received a free copy of this book via the author and I voluntarily chose to leave a review.

Sìn & Secrets is a Contemporary Mafia Romance that is a darkly sinful first book in the author’s Prince’s Guild series.
When Cassandra Bellini draws the attention of Rocco Moretti sparks are going to fly as will their passion for each other in an entertaining excursion through the underworld of crime, violence, revenge, intrigue, suspense, surprises, betrayal, and family dynamics.
Nicely written with plenty of action, and characters who pull the reader into a story that is sure to engage as the fast paced narrative powers its way towards a satisfying conclusion. HEA.

I really liked the book, the plot was interesting enough and the romance was both steamy and cute. At some points it felt to me like the relationship was forced/too insta-lovey but not enough to be off putting.

The violence/morally grey aspect you would expect for this trope wasn’t too graphic, so if you’re worried about that or just starting to read this genre, it’s nothing big.

I liked his cute Italian nickname for her and the mafia stuff, overall a great read and would definitely recommend this book!.

Sins & Secrets is book 1 in The Prince's Guild and my first read by this author.
It's Rocco and Cassandra's story and it's quite a read. Rocco is Head of The Guild and that's how he and Cassandra meet. She leaves her home pursuing her dream only to find that she was fed lies and was deceived. She goes to The Guild for help and makes a deal with the Devil. From that point she's in Rocco's sights and as much as he tries to shield her he's unsuccessful. Their journey is intense and consuming. Can't wait for the next book!

2 Different Worlds

Cass was not accustomed to many things. She was taken from a laid back town and brought to NYC. She told she loved him but was rudely awakened. Then her eyes land on the don her world tilted and stopped. His world just stopped. He had never seen a Morse beautiful angel in his life. A face so angelic and a voice to match. Her boyfriend went immediately to him and said she was his girlfriend and off limits, but nothing is off limits to him. They went through so much to get to their place.

Cass was lured away from Ohio in order to pursue her dreams of being a singer but finds out that the promises given to her were lies and in order to save herself, she makes a deal with the head of the Guild, Rocco. It was a nice different in that Rocco tries to protect her from his life. Cass is a strong character and stays consistent in the story. Can't wait for the next one.

5 Stars for Sin & Secret by ( new for me ) author Sierra Voss

The first thing honestly that got my attention was the cover - those hands , rings & tattoos!

Cass doesn’t know it but she will be required to help pay off her boyfriend’s debt. Rocco gets possessive pretty quickly of his little angel. Theirs is a dark forced proximity arrangement …

Excellent well written 5 Stars !

conflicting rating…

I actually really enjoyed this story! The plot was interesting and the plot twist had me gasping but then thinking “why did I not see that coming!?”
The reason I gave 3 stars is because the editing was just horrible. So many errors. The wrong characters name (like a name that was completely unrelated to the story). Sentence structural errors. Spelling and grammatical errors. It made it confusing and hard to follow at times.

The beginning just throws you into the world like you should already know it. Through the whole book, they talk about a guild and give zero clarity on who the guild consists of.

The amount of typos was crazy!

I hated that mmc gave up being don.

FMC was really dumb.

Nothing felt flushed out.

I enjoyed parts of the book, which is why it's getting 3 stars. But because of the issues I have with this book, I will not be reading anymore of the series or author.

Cassandra and Rocco take you on a thrilling ride as they navigate their path to happiness. They meet him when she goes to him for help, he is drawn to her, but he also has his own issues thanks to his father. I was drawn to the action-packed drama as it unfolded and couldn't put this book down.

Cassandra and Rocco have a rollercoaster of a ride to happiness. Rocco feels drawn to Cassandra immediately and as a reader I was captivated by that chemistry. Rocco has quite the hard times ahead of him thanks to his father. The storyline had me hooked.

Did not finish

This book did not hold my interest the MMC was pretty lame and the MFC was a pushover promiscuous. Just skimmed through it and couldn't even get to the end just deleted it.

I struggled with this book. Found myself skimming parts. Cassandra and Rocco are boring with zero personality even less chemistry. The Guild was mentioned so many times but never elaborated on. Plot was just blahhhhh!!!!! Do yourself a favour don’t bother.

needs an editor

The story and characters are very good. However, there are typos and some grammatical errors. The character Mia is referred to as Mandy as well. The typos are sloppy and amateurish.

Well this isn’t the worst thing I’ve ever read. But it clearly needed another round of editing before being sent out. Lots of spelling, grammar, and name issues. Plot isn’t that great, very predictable.
