Love was definitely in the air this year, with so many later-in-life and second-chance romances; it was a testament to the extraordinary healing powers of this community.
Micah Smythe has spent his career helping others find purpose and inspiration through his bestselling self-help books, yet his own life feels anything but ideal. Raising his spirited four-year-old daughter, Naomi, alone after his ex-wife’s sudden disappearance, Micah struggles to balance fatherhood with the demands of his career. Determined to provide Naomi with the stability and community they both need, he moves to Willow Creek, hoping for a fresh start. But his arrival is anything but smooth—especially when he immediately clashes with Hazel Foster, the strong-willed owner of Lakeside Book Nook.
Hazel has always found comfort in books and the quiet charm of Willow Creek. She’s resigned herself to a life of solitude, content with a cup of tea in one hand and a novel in the other. But when Micah storms into her bookstore with his frustratingly stubborn attitude, he disrupts the perfectly ordered world she’s built. Yet, despite their differences, Hazel can’t ignore the tender devotion Micah has for Naomi—or the quiet struggles he hides behind his polished author persona. As their paths continue to cross, what begins as exasperation slowly turns into an undeniable connection, proving that sometimes, the best love stories are the ones you never see coming.

I liked this final book of this series where romance started for Micah, an author, and Hazel, a bookstore owner, in Willow Creek. The characters are likeable, and this book was a great ending to the series. I recommend this book for those who enjoy clean romance. This is my voluntary and honest review.
Micah and his daughter had moved to Willow Creek for a slower pace of life. Meeting with Hazel, the bookshop owner for the first time was explosive. As they made time to help each other with their writing slowly their relationship blossomed into a loving fondness for each other.
Sweet story about two authors, who each disagreed about their forms of writing. Micha was an established author but his new friend ra a book stored wrote romance novels on the side. His growing need to help her was important to him. More to come on this love match, enjoy.
I was given this book for free in exchange for an honest review. When Micah came to Willow Creek, he had no idea that he would meet a "writing adversary." Very interesting changes happen, for more and others. Well done!
