The war isn’t over.
The dead aren’t done.

And this time, survival means choosing sides.

Master Sergeant Yaël Sion has finally earned her place among the last elite special operators on Earth. After the fall of nations, and a brutal proving ground of fire and blood, she’s found something she never expected to have again – a team. A home. And brothers she would die for.

But when they’re called deep into the remote killing heights of the Hindu Kush, Yaël and Alpha team drop into a nightmare of ambushes, relentless enemies, and a battlefield that devours the unprepared. They’re not just fighting the dead – but facing hardened survivors of the last war, ruthless, blooded, and desperate enough to kill anyone who dares violate their home ground… including beleaguered Ranger and Marine Raider brothers sharing the same lethal battlespace.

When the operation spirals out of control, the team barely escape with their lives – and the consequences follow them home.

As USOC launches increasingly desperate missions to claw back humanity’s future, Yaël is forced into battles that test more than her skill with a rifle. A brutal operation in Ireland pits Alpha against fanatical holdouts who refuse to surrender anything – least of all their power. At the same time, ghosts from Yaël’s past resurface, threatening to tear her from the only family she has left… or destroy it entirely.

Loyalty will be tested.
Trust will be broken.
And survival will demand a price none of them are ready to pay.

THE GREATEST MILITARY THRILLER SERIES EVER WRITTEN!

That is a very strong statement. However, it is 100% true. This book is part of the ARISEN saga written by Michael Stephen Fuchs.

It is, without question, the most well written military fiction of our time. Delta Force members, SAS operators, plus the main character who is part of Isreal's special forces.

Do yourself a favor and start at the very beginning of this series. You'll be back to this book in no time.

TAKE NOTE - get some sleep now, once you start ARISEN your hours of sleep per night is going to drop significantly!

Chapter One Spoiler

I enjoyed this book as I have all the others. The difference in this book is that chapter one previewed the end of the fight at the Taliban outpost. Was posting this whole first chapter intentional because it confused the hell out of me. I couldn't figure out if chapter one was a totally different event until I got to page 147 where it was repeated. I normally give five stars to all Arisen books, but I had to make an exception because of this first chapter. The book should have started with chapter two in my opinion. Despite this, it was still a great read

I'm a normal everyday person, not up on military procedures or jargon, but I can honestly say that Mr Fuchs has the writing knack to transform me into this military world where I am a Tier 1 Operator. This series is outstanding and a full on overload of thrills and excitement from start to finish. From the very first book of the Arisen series leading to the Operators series, I have been mesmerised and hooked. Definitely one of the best Military series out there. A must read.

I await your new books like a man drowning gasps for air. What an awesome sequel to add to an amazing series. You had me white-knuckling my poor Kindle to see how the missions go. I can’t wait for the next one!!!

Awesome....consistently awesome

In an age of movies and tv series being made that should never have existed (Kurtzman we're looking at you) why hasnt some enlightened producer/showrunner genius picked up the whole damn D Boys/Arisen world and run with it?

Yael Kicks @$$!

Engaging and exciting. I’ve read all the other Arisen books, as well. I have waited for the continuation of Yael’s saga.
