The Tournaments in Gideon are approaching their climax, and as the final day arrives, everyone anticipates Figaro will claim the ultimate prize... But the duel champion’s certain victory is suddenly called into question by the unexpected appearance of a Superior who shouldn’t even be in Altar!
Meanwhile, Juliet wanders the city and stumbles upon a streamer by the name of “G.” The two become fast friends, but it seems that this Legendarian content creator came to Gideon with a purpose Juliet may not be too happy about...
-I feel like the “battle” between F and Marie could’ve gone harder, they definitely didn’t say enough to each other. Two authors searching for motivation in the game yet their interactions were rather limited and focused on who knew more about the other. -Pretty insane how we haven’t seen Franklin in forever yet he still gets mentioned on nearly every volume. Hell in this one Ray seems to dislike him even more than in previous volumes -They FINALLY asked the question of where the game’s servers are located but now there’s even more questions regarding that. -Figaro is like the Bizarro Potential Man because despite it constantly being implied he hasn’t reached his full potential (never using his ult, not taking advantage of his class, etc) he just keeps racking up feats. When he finally jobs it’s going to be gruesome. -Despite several reveals (mainly the Theresia scene, Laplace scene and the Albert flashback) the volume still feels kinda filler-y. As F would put it, it was not a “desperate life or death struggle” type of story.
