Instalove for the heroine. It doesn't matter what the hero does. Heroes can cheat, have sex right in front of the heroine, and she'll have him back without any arguments. She's writing utter doormats. It's really sad to see. I believe Harlow and Blair were her last heroines that left their guys. That's how far back you have to go to find some backbone.

The conclusion of Tex and Salem! Plenty of twists and excitement to get sucked into for sure. Brady was a nice little bonus. Didn't see that going the way it did which was a nice little bonus. And I loved the familiar faces making an appearance!

Tex and Salem get the second half of there story and boy is it a crazy twisted mess. Lies come to the surface and the whole gang comes together to fight an unseen enemy. I seriously can’t get enough of these Southern Boys. They might be an over the top possessive but when they find they’re one and only that’s it game over!!

When I read Abbi’s books I always know I will have tears at some point. Salem had a tough life and I wanted her happy ending so bad. I was really mad at Rome and
I had a hard time with the cheating, I didn’t realize he actually did cheat 😩 and I don’t care what the excuse is. Just giving a warning to anyone sensitive to that. He was weak and I didn’t like it :(.
I love everything abbi does but I don’t want to see the men cheating.
I can’t wait to see who is next in the series!

Struggled a bit to rate this one…. To pay over £5 for an extra 190 odd pages was a bit of an extortion after paying over £5 for the first instalment…. In my personal opinion this could of all been written in one book and I think I would of enjoyed it much more because it wouldn’t of broken up the flow of the book as much as I feel breaking it into two books did! I just feel that by having a break between the two it lost something a little spark maybe! I don’t know i just feel a little bit underwhelmed after reading it after having such high hopes after the first!

Holy Cow!!! It can't end like that! Ok, I definitely need their story because I know it's gonna happen. But back to Salem and Rome. This was an amazing end to their story. Every time I thought I had it figured out, I would realize I wasn't even close. And don't hate, but I liked Brady. He may not go about things the right way sometimes, but I definitely want more on him. And quick note, I feel like Lick is actually a big ole softy.

I couldn’t wait to get my hands on a copy of Still Burning and I devoured it in one sitting. You know how it feels when you are reading a book and you just can’t stop, because you HAVE to know what’s next? But then you realize there aren’t enough pages left for all the details you need. Oh no . . . it’s like a TV show when all of a sudden “TO BE CONTINUED” flashes on the screen. That’s how it was with Old Flame, the first part of Rome and Salem’s story: heartbreaking, heartwarming, hopeful. And then Wham! The End. Leaving you desperate for the rest of the story.
Still Burning picks right up where Old Flame left off, and author Abbi Glines does not disappoint. Rome and Salem are finding their way back to a life together and it feels so good. The Boston widow and the motorcycle club member might seem unlikely on the surface, but they just fit. As they always have. There are still old wounds and some bumps, but all those years apart are falling away; each day is better than the last. Salem is surprisingly comfortable being with the Judgement MC, making friends and with a heart full at being with Rome again. Rome is so thankful to have found her again, he’ll never let her go. Their time together is spicy and steamy and very sweet.
But of course it’s not that simple. Author Glines introduced a lot of twists and turns and unknowns into Old Flame, and it continues in Still Burning. Glines has crafted a complex story populated with multi-dimensional characters and full of stunning surprises and connections. It’s complex, but the plot is well-crafted and logical; it’s peeling the onion, unraveling the ball of string, adding another puzzle piece – however you want to look at it – that reveals more and more bit by each tantalizing bit. Everything is related to everything else and everything is in question: Salem’s job in Miami, her life in Boston, shocking secrets, rival motorcycle gangs, involvement of the DEA and CIA . . . it all sounds dangerous and overwhelming and confusing, but trust me, uncovering it all as the story progresses – with no spoilers – makes for a very satisfying and rewarding read. Throw in a jealous, manipulative, spiteful ex-hookup of Rome’s and you’ll be turning the pages of Still Burning as fast as you can.
You could read Still Burning standalone but you really should read Old Flame first to get the full enjoyment, to see what Rome and Salem were like young and in love, what they went through and how precious it is to see them now, not quite so young but still in love. While you’re at it, read everything Abbi Glines has written; it’s all connected and it’s all riveting.
I was given an advance copy of Still Burning. It made my heart race, made me smile, made me cry, and made me love it. And there is just enough cliffhanger at the end to make you eager for whatever is next in this remarkable series. I voluntarily leave this review; all opinions are my own.

This is the continuation of Old Flame, by Abbi Glines…and while you don’t HAVE to read it to understand this one, it is about our two MC’s and gives a lot of information on their past and their relationship the first time around.
First loves are always hardest when they end, especially when you know that you’ll never love another the same way. So when you get that second chance, it’s always exciting but rarely without complications which is exactly how Salem and Romes story goes.
From young lovers to strangers and everything in between. They both have experienced heartbreak and pain….especially since losing each other. Salem is trying to navigate life after losing her husband and reconnecting with Rome. Rome is trying to make up for his past mistakes and show Salem that she is and has always been the one his heart bears for.
There’s A LOT going on in this story. We flashback a few times to their relationship when they were younger and it was nice to see the progression and how they have grown. We focus a lot more on Rome and Salem and their relationship in this book versus the other where we had a lot of the club activities…which is kind of nice because we get to see a different side of them both.
One thing that bothered me was the cheating aspect. I didn’t realise that Rome had cheated on Salem and I really really just do not like when it happens between the MC’s. I get that it happened. I get that it’s a mistake. But for me…it takes away from the power and conviction of his words when he says he loves her. Again. That’s just me.
The book is fast paced and action packed. Full of spice, angst and tension. At times it felt like it was almost TOO MUCH…there was so much going on that a lot didn’t really get resolved. And I understand that it’s leaving the door open for more to come but I think, personally, it could have done with a little less.
Overall though it was a really good book and I can’t wait to see what happens next 🧡

Finished in a day! Had to get to Salem and Rome's HEA ;) Ms Glines gave us plenty more twists and turns before she got us there, but that just made everything all the sweeter once we arrived.
This book had more emphasis on Salem and Rome as a couple *now* than the first one--the flashbacks to the past weren't nearly as frequent, and we see a bit less of Rome as Tex, the MC member and all-around morally grey character (to be clear, he very much is still in the club, but we don't see as much of him actually participating in some of the iffier aspects, like hanging out at the clubs with the girls and participating in takedowns of rivals). Salem's still dealing with a lot of baggage from her old life, though, some of which comes back to haunt her before the book is over.
Overall I enjoyed this one--it kept me turning the pages to find out what was going to happen next. Salem's big "secret" that she was agonizing over and hiding from Rome turned out to be a bit of a nothingburger--but really that's the only complaint I have here.
This one *can* be read without reading the first two books in the series first, but I definitely wouldn't read it without reading the part one of Salem and Rome's story, Old Flame first. A future romance between Brady and Pepper looks to be in the works, and I for one cannot wait!

OMG I did not know how much I needed Rome and Salem's HEA until I had this in my hot little hand. I read this in one sitting and it pulled every emotion I keep buried, out of me, and my heart hurt as my own memories swelled. Abbi, THESE TWO ARE MY FAVOURITE COUPLE OF YOURS AND I LOVED THEIR STORY, Thank You.
In this second book, the story picks up from the end of Old Flame. These two have loved each other for 18 years, and it is a love that despite time marching on, runs deep, but the hurt from the past and a threat in present time, are set to derail Rome (Tex) and Salem. It was discovered that Salem's husband had another life, a life she was not aware of, but the club are wary, especially when that past threatens them. But Rome is determined to prove that Salem is an innocent in all of this, and after 18 years he also needs to prove that he loves her and only her. But, Salem is wary, having had her heart and very soul broken all those years ago. Not to mention a loss she kept secret from Rome, that she has felt all these years, and this is where you need all the tissues. You can feel the love between these two and the passion that steals your breath away, and without giving away spoilers, I just urge you to read and enjoy as much as I did. I cannot say anymore than knowing alittle of the reason behind Abbi's ending with this story (and thank you for sharing) that Rome and Salem will live in my mind and my heart, and it means just that little bit more to me than it would have done. They truly got their HEA.

STILL BURNING, Book 4 in the JUDGEMENT series, is the latest release by author Abbi Glines. This is the continuation of Salem and Tex’s story: an MC, mafia, second chance, first love, romantic suspense novel with a morally grey alpha MMC. I admit to being lost at the beginning, as I had not read the beginning of Salem and Tex’s story, OLD FLAME, but it took very little time to catch up. Salem and Tex had been childhood sweethearts, but Tex’s mother asked him on her deathbed to let Salem go. He had sabotaged their relationship in order to set her free to pursue her dreams of higher education. They had gone on to live separate lives, but something had happened to bring Salem back into Tex’s life and his bed and he was determined that they would never be apart again. A number of circumstances would try to separate them, but Tex proved he would move heaven and earth to keep Salem by his side. This was an engaging story, which included not only the MC Club dynamics, but also included members of the Southern Boys Mafia from the Smoke series. This was a pretty spicy book and the main characters had plenty of chemistry. I enjoyed reading how Tex and Salem resolved their feelings about the past, Salem’s experiences with infertility, and how and why they found their way back to one another. I definitely liked the ending of this novel where both of them had everything that they could want and were living there happily ever after. I recommend this book for readers who enjoy MC Club/Mafia romantic suspense stories.

Still Burning is the second book in Salem and Tex/Rome's romance. Holy cow, this duet was page-turning, and this book was filled with drama, suspense, angst, and a little bit of heartbreak. I devoured this book in one sitting, needing to know what would happen next with Salem and Tex/Rome. Abbi Glines has created an addicting world with The Judgement series, and this duet didn't disappoint. I loved the storyline; it was original and exciting. I loved the twists and turns that this story took me on. My heart broke and soared, and I fist-pumped a few times while reading this book. The characters were complex and had a heartbreaking past that would have you reaching for the chocolate and tissues. I am obsessed with this whole world that Abbi Glines has created with the Southern Mafia and the MC.
Salem is strong, guarded, and finds a few things out in this book. I enjoyed her growth from the first book to this one. Her backbone was sliding into place. Tex/Rome was possessive and devoted to Salem. Their chemistry was undeniable and unavoidable, and I loved Tex's determination to get what he wanted. The twists and turns and mystery that had my jaw-dropping the little Easter eggs were fun!! I can't wait to get my hands on what comes next from Abbi Glines. Tex/Rome was possessive and devoted to Salem. Their chemistry was undeniable and unavoidable, and I loved Tex's determination to get what he wanted. The twists and turns and mystery that had my jaw-dropping the little Easter eggs were fun!! I can't wait to get my hands on what comes next from Abbi Glines. Still Burning is the second book in Salem and Tex/Rome's romance. Holy cow, this duet was page-turning, and this book was filled with drama, suspense, angst, and a little bit of heartbreak. I devoured this book in one sitting, needing to know what would happen next with Salem and Tex/Rome. Abbi Glines has created an addicting world with The Judgement series, and this duet didn't disappoint. I loved the storyline; it was original and exciting. I loved the twists and turns that this story took me on. My heart broke and soared, and I fist-pumped a few times while reading this book. The characters were complex and had a heartbreaking past that would have you reaching for the chocolate and tissues. I am obsessed with this whole world that Abbi Glines has created with the Southern Mafia and the MC.

The amount of curve balls this book gave us was a wild. This book is only 199 pages but Abbi packed all the punches in it. It small but mighty!! I had so many emotions reading this book and Abbi even made me cry. But all I can say is you just need to read the book, it will not disappoint.

Another highlight was the way Abbi weaved in Brady Murphy, Salem's brother-in-law that she didn't know existed, and the inner workings of the Irish drug cartel. His presence added tension to the plot, and the unexpected twists had me on the edge of my seat. That ending—wow! It’s got me eagerly anticipating the possibility of a Brady and Pepper storyline.

Still Burning is the conclusion to Tex and Salem's story which takes place within the Judgement series, so needs to be read in order after Old Flame so that you know what this couple has previously been through. This second chance romance is full of twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of you seat while Tex tries to redeem himself and prove that he is worthy of Salem's love and trust once again. I absolutely love the banter that takes place between the characters of this MC and I just can't get enough of the special guest appearances from the southern mafia men that we have grown to love from the other interconnected series. Salem certainly is drawn to the lovable morally grey type of guys as her past also catches up with her when we are introduced to the interesting Irishman 'Brady' who I think we will possibly be seeing again in the future. If you love your alpha, dominant, possessive and dirty talking MC guys then I highly recommend this series and the other books that link in with this wonderful universe!!!

I suspected the stripper was up to no good, and I knew the secrets from their past would have a huge impact, but was she truly unaware of her late husband's family and their trade?
This book answered all my questions—and then some. The sheer number of curve balls had me on a wild ride from start to finish! And that ending? I have a feeling there's more to come. Was that Pepper meeting Mr. Murphy?
Once again, Abbi Glines proves she’s a master of storytelling. Her characters are incredible, and I devour her books faster than any other author’s because they’re just that compelling.

Wow, just wow! Abbi You have to get another hit on your hands. I couldn’t put this book down. As with all your books in the series, I would give it 10 stars if I could. I love how naïve yet sassy Salem is. That she was abused as such a young child she learned to tune things out. She gave her heart to Rome as a young woman, and never got it back. Rome/Tex fell in love with her from the first time, he laid eyes on her. He honored his mother by stepping away, but he broke both of their hearts. Even though their lives continued on separate paths, their hearts were still connected. I love the way Tex protected her. Somebody needs to beat the snot out of nixie. She was just mean and manipulative. Thank God she got outed. I love the way that the characters in this book even though rough around the edges are loyal to a fault and are such a supportive family. My heart was in my throat several times during this story. I’m always on edge with each book in your series and they just keep getting better and better. Can’t wait for more in this series please Abbi hurry.

Abbi Glines has truly outdone herself with this one—by far her best book yet! I could not put it down. In fact, I stayed up until 1 AM, completely hooked by the story. Wow, just wow! I’m glad this couple got a second book, because there was definitely more to their story that got to be explored. There were some things that they needed to work through about their past and in their relationship in general in order to build something that would last and I’m glad that all got to be explored in this book!
I thought this book had just the right amount of flashbacks that brought context to their past relationship and gave the reader background information while still allowing the story to move forward.
Overall, I enjoyed this book! I recommend reading the rest of the Judgement books before this one, but you could go into it with just reading Old Flame (the first book for this couple).

Still Burning by Abbi Glines was exactly as it's titled Still Burning. This book was a continuous fire, and boy, was it HOT. I adore Rome (Tex) and Salem. They are my kind of people, and the continuation of their story was beautifully written. I cannot wait to get glimpses of them in future books. Congratulations on your release, Abbi! You did a phenomenal job.
Rome and Salem hit a whole new level of soulmate in this book, and I was all for it. The desperation, the craziness, and the heat were top-notch. There were twists and turns that I didn't see coming, moments I predicted and loved, and moments I giggled because of the nut jobs in this book! I absolutely love revisiting some of my favorite people and towns, and I can't wait for more!

Wow, so so good! I was so excited to see Tex and Salem conclusion. I loved their first novel in the series Old Flame and I have been waiting patiently for this novel. I love a good second chance novel and this novel checked so many boxes for me. I love the hero's in this series are straddling the morally grey area of what they are willing to do for the one's they love. So good! This novel grabbed ahold of my heart and held on tight for the entire novel. I was on the edge of my seat with my heart in my throat while I was reading this novel. I loved Tex and Salem. I loved their chemistry. Once I started reading I couldn't put this novel down. I was up all night reading because I couldn't stand to put this novel down, and it was so worth it. I am already excited and anticipating what is coming next in this series. I love all the characters and can hardly wait. So so so good!

The way I was waiting for this book, I can’t even explain it. The cliffhanger that book one left me one lived rent free in my brain for weeks. I had so many questions that needed to be answered.
1. Is the stripper up to no good like I think she is?
2. What happened in their past that made their relationship completely implode?
3. Did she really know nothing about the kind of many that her husband was when he was alive?
Without saying too much, I can definitely say that you get all the answers to your questions and more. I love Abbi Glines and her morally grey men. Rome pulls you in and just doesn’t let you go. But there are definitely some characters that had me ready to throw hands, so be prepared for that.

Such an epic conclusion to Tex & Salem’s story! Literally burning hot chemistry between these two! Tex/Rome is absolutely swoon worthy. He’s everything a boyfriend should be and so much more. I caught myself wishing for a love like his. This book is exhilarating and exciting. It’s impossible to put this book down and my heart was racing with anticipation throughout the whole story. She introduces new characters and gives a glimpse of old ones. Salem is so relatable especially if life constantly lets you down which is how I’ve felt many times myself. My heart melted so many times reading this story. It’s a wild ride filled with extra spicy moments, adventure, and hopeless romance. I loved every single second of it.

The lengths Rome will go to to protect and keep the object of his obsession is sexy AF. He’s not losing Salem again. Where can I find me a Rome?? 👀
Which brings me to my next request.. when is Pepper getting her story. Because my girl is begging to tell her story and I’m aching to read it. The harder they resist the harder they fall and I’m ready for that sweet sweet ache I know is coming with that book.
