The Aftemath
The cover of this book spoke volumes about what was inside it!!!…
Erica played the card she was dealt, but it didn’t turn out like she wanted it too!!!…She wanted Kenneth to suffer, but she and Onyx also got a piece of that suffering with 2 other children left to deal with the aftermath!!!…Kenneth was a hot mess and the fact that he thought he was telling on Drayton made me side eye him because he was wrong and 2 left shoes!!!…
Erica finally got her ash chin checked thinking she was going to degrade Honesty to her mother!!!…She let the cat out of the bag, but she was still unsatisfied!!!…
Chanae accepted a situationship and wanted it to be a relationship because of the perks that came with the situationship and the results didn’t work in her favor and she allowed her emotions to stir her in the wrong direction!!!…
Honesty stirred a pot even after she continued to tell herself that her and Kenneth could never truly e in a relationship, but she continued to play!!!…She had an opportunity to spk at least with her mom when Erica was playing in her face!!…
I love me some Drayton, his loyalty and straight fwd attitude was refreshing!!…He played no games about Honesty and he stayed the course with her and helped her to understand that there is life after your mistakes!!!..
I felt really bad for Marissa because she is left reeling from it all and she lost a lot in the fall out of the decisions of her father and friend!!!…

The pace of this finale was much better than the first book. There was nothing at all honest about Honesty. She was actually a little whore who should have never started sleeping with Kenneth’s controlling crazy ass. Drayton was a really good man to stay with her after what she did.
