This was such a fun and enjoyable book to read. Each chapter is a captivating adventure full of great storytelling, biblical wisdom, and a healthy dose of humor.

More than once, I found myself imagining the places Jason has hunted and picturing the specific moments he describes. I also found myself highlighting many sentences, resonating with many of his lessons, and even laughing out loud at some of the things he shares.

I highly recommended this book to anyone who hunts, as well as to anyone looking to learn valuable life lessons through the lens of some incredible hunting adventures.

What a wonderful book!
Jason does an incredible job describing the beauty of the world around him as well as the thrill of the hunt - all while weaving together a collections of lessons he’s learned and how each have pointed him to Christ’s goodness.
Having grown up adjacent to hunters and hunting but never having done so myself, I have a much deeper appreciation and understanding of the sport/lifestyle after reading this book. For even non-hunters like myself, there is so much to be learned and celebrated from the Gospel-rich truths that Jason writes about!

Chasing All Ten is one of the most unexpectedly refreshing books I’ve read in a long time. I picked it up thinking it was simply about hunting, but what I found was a deeply genuine, insightful, and even profound journey through manhood, faith, and calling. Jason Hatch writes with unfiltered honesty, and the twists in his personal stories–many of which are unlike anything I’ve read before–caught me completely by surprise in the best possible way. What sets this book apart is not just the thrill of the wilderness or the pursuit of North America’s “Super Ten,” but the spiritual depth woven into every chapter. The way Jason reflects on Scripture, often from remote and rugged places, reveals a man being continually shaped by God. His use of biblical truths is not forced or preachy–it’s organic, personal, and powerful.

This is a book that speaks to men of all ages: from boys on the cusp of manhood to grown men striving to live with purpose and integrity. In an age where many men are searching for identity and direction, Chasing All Ten offers clarity, encouragement, and a powerful reminder that God still speaks often through adventure, hardship, and quiet reflection. Whether you’ve hunted your whole life or only ever dreamed about it, the stories resonate. I sat down to skim the first few chapters and ended up reading the whole thing in one sitting. It’s rare to find a book that entertains, challenges, and ministers to the soul. I wholeheartedly recommend it for anyone looking for more than just a good read, but a deeper encounter with calling, character, and Christ.
