When I was a kid, he was my hero. I never would’ve dreamed he was a secret mob boss with darkness in his soul.
Years after my encounter with Killian Callahan, the man walks into my bakery. He teases that meeting after so many years is fate. It isn’t funny to me. Each time he visits, my crush grows more intense.
When a gangster tries to shake me down, Killian intervenes, revealing who he really is. Ruthless. Violent. Possessive. It scares me... and makes me want him more.
Killian warns me to stay away. “Innocent, beautiful virgins like you aren’t meant for a life like mine. Yet, I need you, Lucy... your curves, your smile, your everything. But loving me will be your ruin.”
When I was little, he joked I was his ‘lucky charm’ because I made the storm stop. Now, a new storm is raging, this one in my heart.
*My Irish Mafia King is an insta-everything, OTT, standalone romance with a HEA, no cheating, and no cliffhanger.
My Irish Mafia King by Flora Ferrari was a good mafia book. They knew each other from her childhood days, but she never knew he was part of the mob until a gangster tries to shake her down. I really like this one!.

Discovering that the man who once saved your life was a dangerous mafia man should be enough to slam the brakes on any budding romance… right? Not for Lucy. Despite the risks, she can’t shake the side of Killian that only she gets to see—the man who makes her feel safe even when the world around them is anything but. Killian knows better. He’s spent the last decade distancing himself from his place in the mob, determined to leave that life behind. But as buried secrets claw their way to the surface, the past refuses to stay in the shadows. He tells himself that pushing Lucy away is the only way to protect her. But Lucy is not one to be sidelined. Fierce, loyal, and tougher than she looks, she refuses to back down, even when her beloved bakery becomes a target. Like it or not, Killian has no choice but to let her in because she’s already in too deep. What made this story shine for me was the intensity of Killian and Lucy’s love. No matter how hard he tried to resist, it was always clear that this was a forever kind of love. After Flora’s string of “texting” romances, I adored seeing this relationship unfold face-to-face, filled with real tension, passion, and raw emotion. Killian was the perfect balance of lethal and tender—ruthless, when necessary, yet deeply devoted to the people he loved. His close bond with his mother, sister, and his friends Colm and Ronan added layers to his character, making him even more irresistible. And Lucy? She was his match in every way—strong enough to stand beside him, fight for him, and ultimately, claim her place as his queen. This book was an absolute knockout—gritty, romantic, and filled with the kind of love that refuses to be denied. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A magnificent story about a baker and a businessman/Mafia prince who fall for each other after years apart. The two met years ago when he saved her. The businessman/Mafia prince has been trying to put distance between them due to being part of the Mafia but distance does work when things keep bringing them together. During this time the Mafia prince hears rumors about his Family. The businessman/Mafia prince has the baker stay with him when her bakery is destroyed by fire. The businessman/Mafia prince has his mother and sister leave the states due to a war starting to brew amongst the Family. The two become intimate as well as want to be with one another even after everything that has happened. The businessman/Mafia prince and the baker makes a plan to find out the truth about everything at a ball that his Family’s Don is having. At the ball the two find out what they need to know about the fire as well as what happened to the businessman/Mafia princes’ father and grandfather. The two confess their love for one another. The businessman/Mafia prince decides he will take the crown and become the Family’s Mafia don. The businessman/Mafia prince finds the men that betrayed the Family. The businessman and the baker become the Mafia Families king and queen. The couple become engaged and it doesn’t take long before they are expecting. Years later the couple are happy and still in love with a family of their own. This story has drama, intrigue, suspense, action and a spicy steamy romance that ends happily ever after. It also has outstanding character as well as being a great page turner.

This age gap mafia romance was super sweet with MCs that met for the first time when he rescued her as a 7-8 year old child and lost in a storm and he was eighteen. Years later he walks into her bakery for a cup of coffee and thus began a friendship that quickly grew into love in this meant-to-be love.
Of course nothing worth having is ever easy and Killian, the Callahan Family prince, a title he never wanted is forced upon him in order to prevent a war and to keep Lucy, his lucky charm, safe.
I think my favorite part of the book was that he couldn’t stay away from her. Not even knowing his presence in her life put her in danger. No matter how hard he tried, how adamant he was that nothing could happen between them, he just could. Not. Stay away. And once they finally got together, he was so vulnerable with her; he didn’t try to put distance between them because of his title—it was just so sweet.
My only gripe is probably ridiculous to most people but the use of euphemisms for body parts kinda gets on my nerves. The author uses the usual terms at times so it’s not like she’s shying away from it…I’m really not sure what the reasoning behind it is but it’s kinda off putting to me. It may not bother the majority of readers so don’t let what I said put you off. The book itself is great, it’s just that that was so widespread in the book that it cost it a star for me.

You might want to make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way. Lucy grew up being friends with Killian Callahan, she had a crush on him then and it never went anywhere they remained friends took on with them going their separate ways. Fast forward years and who walks into her bakery (could it be fate working in their favor) but each time he comes into her bakery her crush is turning into something a little more than a crush despite his warning to stay away from him telling her “Beautiful innocents don’t belong with men like him because he would ruin her”. …of course she didn’t listen she was his lucky charm. Killian sexy as all get out mafia king with a reputation proceeding him hi isn’t a man you wan on your radar because he is dangerous, ruthless in a good day, deadly every day, and loves those he cares for willing to protect them with his life if need be and that includes his beautiful curvy sweet girl she just have figured it out yet although he warned her to run giving her every chance now he isn’t’ letting her go but will she continue to stick around entering his world, will he keep her safe, protected and can they find happiness somewhere among the craziness?
His “a stór”. Phenomenal. This is the story of overcoming fears for love. Killian walks into a bakery and sees the little girl he rescued years ago all grown up into a stunningly gorgeous woman. Falling for her could ruin her, though. He’s a Mafia Prince even if he walked away from the crown because he wanted nothing to do with that life anymore. Lucy has never forgotten him and now he comes into her bakery every morning to see her. Killian is sending mixed signals at every interaction they have. Despite knowing that he should stay away from Lucy, he can’t. Even more so when he learns of the Mob shakedown and the woman being held captive in her apartment above the bakery. From this point Family isn’t family anymore when he sees who’s behind it. Trust people become enemies, family become traitors. All are murderers. Keeping Lucy safe is his number one priority. When she offers herself to prevent a war Killian is surprised at her bravery and willingness to step into his world. He warns Lucy that if everything goes according to plan he WILL have to step up to wear the Crown and so will she as his QUEEN. This is not JUST a love story. There is plenty of action from all sides and angles. Some you don’t see coming. Be prepared to not want to stop reading once you start. Oh, a you’ll have to read the book to understand the review title. That is unless you know the language, lol.

Killian never wanted to be a part of Irish Mob. After his grandmother’s death Killian visit an bakery The Celtic Crust which was given to Lucy by her mother after her death. Lucy took order from Killian and then suddenly started touching her pendant which is a Claddagh ring given by Killian when she was a kid and got lost during a night of storm. He found her that night and he gave it to her to make her stop crying and said that she’s his lucky charm. Shane was working for mob (Frank and Owen) and always be there to take payment from Lucy but one day Killian learned about it and took matter on his hand. He also learned that Owen was the master mind with help of Lucy. That’s where everything started. Then he made the choice of becoming the don. Their flirting, banter, love, care, protectiveness was on another level. How he communicated with his mother and sister. Roman and Colm’s loyalty to Killian. Lucy sure is Killian’s lucky charm. At the end they had 3 kids and lived happily ever after.
I’m looking forward to seeing this kind of stories from Flora. She did a great job at it. I’m so happy that I read this book. But at the same time sad cause I’ve finished this book in one sitting but I’m gonna re read it again.

Years ago, he found a girl lost in woods and helped her find her way out. He gave her a claddagh ring for luck. Years later, he is surprised to wander into a little bakery, only to see familiar eyes, staring at him, the ring hanging from a chain around her neck. She is so excited to see her handsome savior and when he starts coming in for coffee every morning, her heart blooms. Only he has secrets, he is aired to the Irish mob, he walked away from it years ago, choosing the path of legitimate business however, family obligations have come calling. He doesn’t want to involve her in the very thing he wanted to avoid his whole life. I enjoyed the premise of the story. The characters were well defined and described. They had chemistry that drew them to each other, as well as attraction that ignited into passion. It was a bit of a slow burn as they had to navigate, not only the beginning of a relationship, mafia, family, drama, and them both getting sucked in. I did feel that there was a lot of conversation that was awkward and didn’t flow naturally. Sometimes it was oddly formal, and others just clunky with phrasing choices. They do find their happily ever after once they navigate the mafia drama.

My Irish Mafia King is a deliciously intense, possessive, and steamy mafia romance that will have you falling hard for Killian Callahan—the ruthless mob boss with a soft spot for one woman and one woman only. From childhood protector to dangerous, brooding kingpin, Killian is the ultimate “touch her and die” hero, and his obsession with Lucy is as forbidden as it is undeniable 🔥.
Lucy’s curvy, sweet, and innocent—a stark contrast to the violent, dangerous world Killian rules. But when trouble finds her, he steps in, proving he’s not just her crush, but her savior, protector, and inevitable downfall. The age gap and "meant to be" dynamic make their connection even more electric, and every possessive growl, stolen touch, and heated glance only pulls them deeper into a love neither of them can fight.
If you love obsessive, over-the-top alpha heroes, forbidden attraction, and high-stakes mafia romance, this book is pure indulgence. A sizzling, heart-racing, and dangerously addictive read with an HEA that will leave you swooning! ☘️💋❤️🔥.

My Irish Mafia King is quite suspenseful and a page turning mafia romance. The story is phenomenally written, exceptionally balanced with action/romance and beautifully executed by Flora Ferrari. Flora Ferrari continues to showcase what a phenomenal author, storyteller and writer she is with each book I’ve read by her so far. My Irish Mafia King is the story of Lucy and Killian. The characters are well developed and beautifully executed throughout the story. The chemistry between Lucy and Killian is off the charts hot and undeniably irresistible. I couldn’t get enough of the amazing story, which is quite captivating from start to finish, entertaining and an enjoyable read. I absolutely enjoyed learning about who Lucy and Killian were as the main characters of this story. I won’t be giving out any details because I don’t want to spoil the book for others. Lucy got lost as a child and Killian was the one to rescue her. He gave her a Claddagh charm and called her his Ilucky charm. There develops an attraction but he thinks it is better to stay away from her. He never wanted to be part of the mob, but he got knowledge of a few things and became the don. Lucy who became is a rather sweet and charming woman, shows that she can fight for her loved ones. There is so much going on, hard to put it down. Ths story is full of suspense and most important wonderful layerd characters. It s hard to pick out a specific scene. I enjoyed how Lucy can be so sweet but fight for what she wants and Killian treat not only Lucy right but also his mother and sister. He has the loyalty of his men, which says a lot about a man and his character.

The reader follows the story of Lucy and Killian. Lucy is the owner of the coffee shop/bakery of The Celtic Crust; and she reunited, by chance, with Killian when he wanders into her bakery. Over 10 years ago, Killian saved Lucy when she was lost in the mountains in Ireland. But now, it seems, fate has brought them back together.
I enjoyed reading this book. It's a very spicy read with a good amount of action. But the emphasis of the story centers more on Lucy and Killian's relationship. It's a good read, but I felt that finding out that Owen might have betrayed the family and the eventual reveal of Owen's betrayal, to be a little hurried through.

My Irish Mafia King is a steamy, instalove, OTT, opposites-attract, age-gap, curvy girl gets her Irish Mafia man romance. Lucy is a sweet, curvy baker. Killian is a hunky, ruthless, silver-fox, Irish Mafia man. He was Lucy’s hero when she was younger. When they cross paths again, she's grown into a curvy goddess, and they are drawn together. But Killian is worried she's too innocent for his life and tries to push her away. But Lucy loves him and is a sassy spitfire. When another gangster threatens her, Killian's touch her and die vibes come out. I loved this one so much. Their chemistry was hot enough to burn down Dublin, and we got a great HEA after all the danger and drama. I loved it so much!!!.

Turning a Pussycat into a Lioness - This story went from zero to sixty so fast, that I couldn’t take a break from reading until I finished it. It may have taken me a lot of hours to read the book, but I say without a shadow of doubt, that every second spent turning the pages was very well worth it. The story had action, suspense, betrayal, personal growth, drama and more importantly a lot of steamy encounters, that will leave your panties wet. A great story between Killian and Lucy. Killian is part of the Irish Mob which he never wanted. Lucy owns a bakery that Killian stepped and remembered her. She still had her claddagh ring now pendant that he gave to her when she needed him. The connection is there but he knows he can never be with her until she is being harassed by someone in the Irish Mob. Now he will do anything to protect Lucy. Lucy is now running. They are pulled together for all the wrong reasons and for all the right reasons. You will love it as much as I did.

Lucy was saved by Killian when she was lost as a child and randomly years later Killian walks into her cafe and they reconnect for 6 months over his morning coffee. But then things get interesting in their lives and they discover each other secrets. I have to say what starts it off had me cheering for Killian and things get crazier and hotter as the story goes. Entertaining to watch Killian try to resist Lucy through all the drama. Add in the mafia insanity and its secrets as they try to discover what happened in the past and what is truly going on now was fun too. Just fun story mafia style with lots of action, surprises, secrets and a bit of intrigue.
Flora Ferrari wrote a steamy book about Lucy, the owner of an Irish bakery, who had been pining over the man who helped save her years ago in Ireland. Surprise, surprise, when Killian shows up in her bakery asking for a virgin Irish coffee. Lucy and Killian, have a growing attraction to one another, but can this love happen when she's an everyday bakery owner and Killian turns out to be an Irish Mafia King?
I enjoyed the storyline and interaction between Lucy and her Mafia King. Lucy showed bravery and courage all through the fight for Killian and his right to be King.

Killian has always owned Lucy’s heart as he was there for her when she found herself in a dangerous situation as a child but the last place she expected to see him was in her bakery. Once again when she finds herself in danger he is there for her, but she realizes there is a lot about him she doesn’t know.
Killian may be part of a mafia family however that was not the life he wanted. When fate brings Lucy back into his life he believes that the best thing he can do is stay away however his heart doesn’t agree.
The chemistry between them is undeniable as they take us on an adventure filled with suspense, surprises and a love that was meant to be.
Killian was born into the family business of the Irish mob but walked away from it ten years ago. Lucy owns the bakery her mother started. Killian and Lucy meet 10 years prior when Lucy as a child got lost and was rescued by Killian. Killian has attraction to Lucy but with his mob ties he tries to stay away. I loved how the story came full circle. Lucy might have been young but she was fierce and brave. There was some drama with the mob and I love that the good guys won the "war". Good story.

Lucy isn't excellent baker carrying on her mother's tradition. Killian is a restaurateur hoping to extend the divide between him and the family business.
There paths have crossed before but now they are older, wiser and have several obstacles between them. Will those obstacles prove to be too much or will a bit of Irish luck see them through?
This was a great book. I loved it. The main and supporting characters were well realized.
