Patient 33's whole life is a gray, dreary cell. She's a caged monster, the ideal test subject for privately funded scientists, trading obedience for simple comforts. Hope beckons when a voice in her dreams provides the key to escape.
The only catch? She must also help three other monsters find their freedom. She agrees to a short-lived alliance, rage leaving her no patience for shadowy figures, mind-readers, or silent predators. Freedom and fate pull her in different directions once the shackles are obliterated.
With an unlikely sanctuary on one side, and wilderness calling on the other, can old bonds be salvaged, even as new ones are forged? Patient 33's very nature is put to the test when danger threatens their new home. Will her unleashed fury be enough to keep the darkness at bay, or will the wild monsters be caged once more?
Devoured this book today, I swear I can’t get enough of this series
That cliffhanger!! Again!! You’re killing me in the best way! All these characters are absolutely incredible and I can’t to see this whole universe come together
I was on the edge of my seat from start to finish! Wow. Absolutely love this new bunch of characters and how they get to know and interact with one another. Can’t wait to read the next book!
It had to be said, first and foremost. Because... I absolutely cannot wrap my mind around it. Now, enough about me.
What a fantastic start to newest instalment of Monsters in the Darkness. Caged, imprisoned, tested.
We're seeing the other side of the coin. A coin so multifaced, we learn, and quickly, that darkness lies not only in loneliness and in the found family formed by Addy and her misfits, not only in the shadows soaked in the King's ill-fated lucky men and connivingly concealed by Grace's light.
It taints everything.
Including the dangerous caged wildlings; and the wilderness masked with a book and a posh English accent.
Where do monsters go when they're snatched right out of hiding? Is freedom as sweet as promised beyond the gray prison cells?
A little dreamer wraith thinks yes. And proves it by painting the prison walls red.
This is no found family. Not chosen either.
Not when fate and science entwine so tightly together, all that's left is despair and a fierce need for independence.
Bella does a beautiful job of subjecting the wild ones to one impossible choice. On one hand rests the promise of hope, which can only be reached together - chosen AND found family. On the other, what do they even know of family, when family brings pain, loss, and crushing disappointment. And all they have is their survival instinct. And that survival instinct is all that's kept them alive. Hollow but whole, enough to see another day.
And when an animal is hurt enough, every lash out is an attempt to reach freedom. As wholesome and hollow as it is.
Because alone kept them alive. And together... they're a numbered target.
When the wild ones are ripped apart, misfits and royalty bands together.
And I'm absolutely desperate to know, who survives them all?
I cannot recommend this book and series enough. Each cluster and duet has a such tight grip on my heart. Forever one of my absolute favourite series. <3
This is literally my favorite series of Bella’s because I love all the different characters we get to meet and their special gifts, but for me this one fell a little short. I did enjoy it, but I just felt as if it was little rushed and something was missing. I am excited for the next one because of the past characters making an appearance and seeing what roles they will play into it. I can’t wait to learn more about the wild ones.
Another installment in this deliciously messed up, dark, and spicy series!
I love the group in this story, and I can’t wait to read the next story!
33 and her men have been through so much and it was horrifying to read about some of the things they have all suffered. I’m really interested in learning more about 33 and her powers, and have LOVED all the men so far.
Devastated and intrigued by the ending and am so pumped to continue the story!
Belle Reves "Hath No fury" was a book I couldn't put down. From the very first meeting of patient 33 I was capture by her story. I wanted to know more. How did she get there why she was there. Will she escape. Will she find her HEA and will she get her revenge she deserves. Can't wait for more
There's mutants, military, ghosty sex, bestiality, fishman, baked pastries and a whole yahtzee of MM and MMF and MMM and FM doing "hole some" things. It was a difficult start for me but I'm glad I didn't DNF this..

I was lucky enough to be chosen as an ARC reader for Hath No Fury!
Patient 33: The Caged Monster Unleashed
Trapped in a gray, lifeless cell, Patient 33 survives by outthinking her tormentors counting steps, calculating time, always knowing exactly when the next wave of pain will come. But when a voice in her dreams offers an escape, she doesn’t hesitate. The only catch? She must free others like her, too.
She’s ferocious, aggressive, unhinged, and playful, a product of relentless torment and cruel experiments. Without her, the MMCs wouldn’t have stood a chance at escaping. They’d be sitting ducks.
Among them is Nox, the golden retriever of the group full of energy, curiosity, and an eagerness to please. He’s had little experience with real people, but when he learns something, he takes it to heart. (The first scene with him and Kyle… iykyk 😉)
Each member of the harem carries their own unique abilities, scars, and secrets. One by one, they open up to each other, and what starts as a desperate bid for survival transforms into something far more powerful a family.
But freedom isn’t the end of their story. Shadows lurk, and the past refuses to let go. Can they truly escape, or were they only ever monsters waiting to be caged again?
THAT ENDING WHAT JUST HAPPENED?! 😱 I can't wrap my head around it. Why did it have to end like that? What comes next? Who are THEY?! 🤯
🔥 Who’s ready for a dark, twisted, unbreakable harem? 🔥
