Speculative Masonry is a compilation of lectures published in 1913 by Andrew MacBride, considered to be one of Scotland's brightest Freemasons. This is a reprint of the original 1914 edition, with a new foreword by Andrew Hammer.
Just as relevant today as it was when it was first written. The first half of the book, which is the philosophy of Masonry, really gets to the core of what the Craft is all about. MacBride was someone who wasn't afraid to change tradition to get to the true meaning, a skill that sometimes is sorely needed.
