Hawk's Redemption : A Tempest Knight’s MC Bad Boy/Good Girl, Grumpy/Sunshine Insta-Love Romance

Rate this book
He's the ruthless enforcer of an MC, haunted by his past. She's the preacher’s daughter, too sweet for his world. But when she turns to him for protection, can saving her be his own redemption?

Hawk
I’ve spent years running from my demons...but they've finally caught up. One morning, I looked in the mirror and saw my father staring back at me—bloodshot eyes, unshaven face, and the same haunted expression that used to send me running as a kid. And it finally hit me—I’m never going to find solace at the bottom of a bottle. So, with the help of my brothers, the Tempest Knights, I start to clean up my act. First step—join AA.

I don’t expect much from it, but then I see her. Roxy Lane. The girl who shows up to every meeting, offering snacks and kindness in equal measure. She’s too sweet, too innocent, too good for a broken man like me. And when I find out she’s the preacher’s daughter? That should be my sign to stay away. But how can I, when every instinct tells me she’s the only one who can save me?

Roxy
Hawk Blackfeather is the last man I should fall for. The MC’s Sergeant-at-Arms is big, broody, and carries scars—both inside and out. I know better than to get too close. I should drop off my snacks for my dad’s AA meetings like I always do and leave.

But when Hawk starts showing up early just to see me—telling me he needs me—I’m powerless to walk away. Because he’s not the only one who needs saving. I have a secret. And Hawk may be the only man who can protect me.

The Tempest Knights MC is packed with morally gray heroes who’ll do whatever it takes to protect the women they love. If you crave fast-paced, insta-love romance with a touch of suspense and a HEA—jump on, hang tight, and enjoy the ride .

Hawk and Roxy

I loved this book with two souls connecting and soothing each other’s past. Hawk has hit rock bottom but it is the beautiful, innocent preacher’s daughter who makes him want to be better. Roxy can see the good in Hawk even though he is the enforcer for the Tempest Knights MC.

This book has danger, action, steam which is in a great storyline that I feel in love with. I can’t wait to see what comes next with the Tempest Knights MC.

Sometimes a story reaches into the quiet places of your soul and says, yes, it’s messy—but this is still holy ground. Hawk’s Redemption is that kind of story.

From the moment Hawk walks into that AA meeting, you know this isn’t just a tale of romance. It’s a tale of redemption. Of rebuilding. Of finding light when everything in you says you're too far gone.

And standing in that room is Roxy, the preacher’s daughter, who knows a thing or two about walking a hard road. Her life isn’t perfect. Her faith isn’t always shiny. But she shows up—with quiet strength and unwavering kindness. She sees the good in Hawk.

Their connection? Immediate, electric, but rooted in something deeper than attraction. It's in the way they both carry scars—seen and unseen—and how those wounds don't repel, but recognize each other.

What truly sets this book apart?
➡️ The gentle, respectful weaving of Indigenous heritage and identity.
➡️ The raw honesty in portraying addiction, faith, and the deeply imperfect people who live both.
➡️ A romance that simmers with intensity but blooms with patience, trust, and healing.

This book doesn’t pretend faith is easy. It doesn’t offer quick fixes or sanitized characters. It gives you brokenness and beauty in equal measure—and reminds us that love, real love, isn’t about perfection. It’s about showing up anyway.

But of course, this is also a romantic suspense, and Eliza Rockwood keeps the stakes high. The villain, Randall, a wolf hiding in holy robes, weaves a threat so chilling and real that when Roxy uncovers his plot, you feel the danger crawl across your skin. And when the MC brothers rally to protect her, especially Hawk, the man who would burn the world down to keep her safe? Goosebumps.

💬 Final Thoughts:
Hawk’s Redemption is a story about second chances—for love, for faith, for yourself. It doesn’t shy away from pain, but it never lets go of hope. And that’s what makes it powerful.

If you’ve ever struggled with grace, questioned your worth, or looked at the shattered pieces of your life and wondered if they could be redeemed—this story says yes. Yes, they can.

Ohhh, Hawk. The big, broody enforcer who looks like he could break a man in half with a glare—and yet here I am, melting because this grumpy biker went and stole my heart. I mean, preacher’s daughter meets MC bad boy? That’s the kind of opposites-attract tension I live for, and Eliza Rockwood delivered it with all the steam, grit, and feels I could handle (and maybe just a little more).
Hawk’s redemption arc had me clutching my Kindle like it was the last donut at Sunday service. Watching this tough, scarred man step up, face his demons, and fight for Roxy… whew, let’s just say my “touch her and die” trope-loving heart was eating good. And Roxy? Sweet sunshine on the outside, but steel at her core. She may be the preacher’s daughter, but don’t let that halo fool you—she was the perfect match for Hawk’s shadows.
This book has everything I want in an MC romance: danger, insta-love that actually works, suspense, dirty talk that had me blushing, and enough heart to balance all that grit. By the end, I wasn’t just rooting for Hawk’s redemption—I was swooning right along with Roxy.
If you love protective bikers, heroines who surprise you, and stories that burn hot while still punching you in the feels, Hawk’s Redemption will rev your engine. Now excuse me while I fan myself and impatiently wait for the next Tempest Knight to claim his story.

The 2nd book in the Tempest Knight MC series and it did not disappoint! Absolutely loved how Hawk and Roxy fall fast and hard for each other; proving that when your soul finds its other half, nothing else matters, not even a dark and painful past.

Hawk, the broody MC enforcer, is fighting demons from his past with sex and alcohol, while Roxy, the preacher’s daughter, is pure sunshine and sweetness. What could she possibly see in him? How could he ever redeem himself to be worthy of her? Yet Roxy never judges Hawk. She knows, soul deep, that they belong together.

But when Roxy uncovers a dangerous coverup in her father’s church and sees firsthand the true nature of Hawk’s world, will she stand by him when she realizes he’d burn the world to protect her?

I adore all of Eliza’s books, but the spice in this one especially hit just right. I also love how she continues to shine a light on injustices toward Indigenous communities, and I especially appreciated the beautiful glimpse into the Lakota wedding ceremony. This story is raw, passionate, and absolutely impossible to put down—I’m obsessed!

Things have not been easy for Hawk, growing up on the reservation with an alcoholic father, his own life was heading that direction until he looked at himself in the mirror and reached out to his brotherhood for help. They helped him get sober, and then he meets her. She is the preacher's daughter and the most beautiful thing he has ever seen. When he touches her hand for the first time, he knows that he has found his end game. She is equally struck by the handsome warrior. She never thought much about men and then she meets him and she realizes she was just waiting. When investigating some errors at her father's church it puts her in the line of fire of some dangerous people, and there is nothing he won't do to keep his girl safe. This is a short story format and is a fairly quick read. It is sweet, and spicy. One innocent and one hardened by life but together they find everything to make a happily ever after.

This is a new indie author for new and I’m definitely going back for more!!!! I think this will be one of my new fav MC romance series/authors!!!
It’s the perfect length for me (Not ridiculously short but not so long I don’t have time to finish), long enough for some awesome plot and action and a lot of seriously sexy scenes (for real…Eliza KNOWS how to do sexy😍🔥😍🤩) that also convey such a primal and deep connection between the characters you can’t help but feel like you’re right there with them🤩🥰🤩🥰(…panting…😉).

I absolutely loved it! I also enjoyed her inclusion of some info and details about Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, and was touched and impressed by her conveyance of the terrible plight of its residents and in particular indigenous women, along with some reference info in the back of the book if you want to look into the issues they face and potentially how to help. It’s nice when authors weave real life issues into their stories to hopefully raise awareness.

Hawk’s Redemption is a story about second chances, finding love, and faith. The bond of family and a brotherhood in the club.

Hawk has been struggling and using alcohol to drown everything out. But he hit bottom and decided it’s time to reach out for help and started going to AA. This is where he stunned by the most beautiful woman he has ever seen and feels an electric chemistry with the girl who helps lead it, Roxy. Hawk is rough, grumpy, an enforcer in a motorcycle club and Roxy is sweet, innocent, the preachers daughter. They are the complete opposite, but have a connection that’s raw and pure. They SEE EACH OTHER!

You would think dating someone in a MC would be what puts Roxy in danger, but it’s her skills with numbers and her dad letting her take over the church books that does it. And her man Hawk is not going to sit by while someone threatens his old lady!

This book is spicy, secrets unfold, a love story blooms, and two souls find one another and save each other.

Another absolutely stunning juggernaut of a compelling story by ER. I liked Hawk in book one and loved Roxy in this one. I love the gentle and detailed inclusion of indigenous characters and heritage. This also did something I wish a lot of christian/Faith adjacent books would do, which is portray real people, with real faith, living real lives, struggling in a walk that was never meant to be easy; that's why it's called faith. People are flawed, and loving them is not always easy, but it is worth it.

Literally always sign me up for an Eliza book. Including this one, I've read 6 of her books and 4/6 I've rated 5/5 stars, that includes both books in this series so far and I'm sure next year when Diesel and Sienna's book comes out it will follow that trend.

Ok read for a MC. I did like the characters but felt the club is a tab bit soft. Like at NO point should those who are not club patched members be involved in so much. While I understand it was new to Roxy, no MC worth their salt would have allowed Sienna to bring Roxy while they were making a run despite the circumstances as neither Roxy nor Sienna would have known the plans. Roxy had alot to learn. I loved Hawk just as I enjoyed Knight. I was glad to see Knight and Evelyn again and will look forward to Diesel and Sienna. Wasn't sure how this one was going to play out with Roxy being a preacher's daughter but it definitely held its own.

This story is so heartfelt and hits close to home. Eliza shows us that some people are really strong enough to over achieve even the worst things, she shows that even people that get in trouble still do good to help their community. This book is the best book I have ever read that Eliza has written and I love this biker series oh so much. She has strong main male characters that will do anything for their women whether they know it or not and then you have these endearing and powerful female main characters who have been hurting so much and so on, but still falling in love with these men who are so scary, but you so hook you keep reading the story then gets spicy at points. I hope in the next book we hear some more is still on this lovely couple.

This is the first book from this series that I have read and it won't be the last, I am going to get Hawk's sister's book as I want to know how all that played out. Hawk's character stood out in this for me, in the way he realised something needed to change, how he reached out for help, how respectful he was to Roxy and her father, and how he was open and honest with Roxy. I liked seeing them come together, that they recognised how strong the other was and that they supported each other throughout. I also liked the way they loved each other and I believed in their connection and chemistry, and that they had a future.

Hawk's Redemption is Book 2 of the Tempest Knights MC series. It's a steamy, instalove, OTT, age-gap, opposites-attract, grumpy-sunshine, girl gets her biker romance. Roxy is the sweet daughter of a preacher. Hawk is the hunky, grumpy, enforcer for the Tempest Knights MC. When Hawk hits rock bottom with his drinking, he works to get sober and begins attending AA meetings with the encouragement of his brothers. Roxy provides snacks and support at the meetings. Hawk finds himself drawn to her. When she needs his help, he doesn’t hesitate to protect her. These two had insane chemistry and we ended on a happy note after the danger and drama. I loved it.

Hawk's Redemption was amazing! If i could give it more than 5 stars I would. I have loved this series so far and I'm positive it will not change. There is so much heartbreak when she's begging him to not leave that I could physically feel it. There is also a smex scene that is described so well that you can visualize! And Hawks love for her was all consuming feel it to your bones love. You should definitely read this book. Lastly, I am so ready for Diesel's book! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Happy Reading Everyone!

I really enjoyed this one. It's the kind of book that you just get lost in, and I couldn't put it down. The characters, Hawk and Roxy, are so well-written and I was totally invested in their story. The author does a great job of making you feel what the characters are going through. If you're looking for a romance that's also a gripping story, this is it. I can't wait to see what happens next in the series!

Five out of five stars.

Hawk's Redemption is book two in the Tempest Knight's Series by Eliza Rockwood.
Hawk wakes up one day and realizes he doesn't like who he's become and decides its time to reach out for help.
He starts going to AA, where he meets the quiet Roxy who is pure sunshine, to his darkness.
Roxy is the daughter of the Preacher at the church that runs AA, and these two have an instant connection.
Eliza writes such heartwarming, intriguing stories. And this book is no different.
I loved the mix of romance, insta-love, suspense and danger, and I can't wait for more in this series.

Hawk's Redemption is the second book in the Tempest Knight MC Series and follows Hawk Blackfeather who is the enforcer for the mc and Roxy Lane the town's preacher's daughter. Hawk is exactly what you would want in an enforcer moody, tough, loyal and I love that although life has been hard he is realizing its time for some changes. Roxy is sweet, smart, strong, independent and the moment Hawk lays his eyes on her you can feel their chemistry rise off the page. This story is a quick read but definitely action packed, spicy, and with a few twists and turns I felt like I was patched in and a new member of the Tempest Knights. I definitely can't wait for the next book in this series especially after reading a little about the other members of the club in books one and two.

Spice: 🌶🌶🌶

This isn't the first time I've said this and it won't be the last but, I Love a MC romance story.

Book 2 brought so much to the the table. We had insta love, Spice and the perfect amount of action to add to the mix. You have these tortured characters finding the perfect person for them to really begin to live again. I loved Roxy and Hawks story. It was thrill ride paced I found myself flying through this book so I could get to their happy ending, I couldn't focus on anything else.

Hawk wakes up and realizes he needs to change. His past haunts him and he doesn’t want to be doomed to repeat his father’s mistakes. AA meetings quickly become more when he meets the preacher’s daughter. When he finds out she needs to be saved. This instalove between them grows as they take on their demons together. This series is everything you’re looking for in a MC series.

This is the second book in Tempest Knights MC series. It's a MC lite story. Hawk has his demons and drowns them in alcohol and women. With the help of his MC he is in recovery where he meets sweet innocent Roxy. I loved Roxy. She was so sweet and innocent but toward the end we see how fierce she really can be. A perfect match for Hawk. Good addition to the series.

Delightful second edition to the series. I really liked the development of Hawk and Roxy’s relationship. It was insta-love but they actually got to know each other before they began a physical relationship. I also appreciated that Roxy’s father was a pastor and a good man. So many books paint religious parents as a judgemental zealots and usually corrupt or just evil. It was refreshing that Roxy’s dad was a good man with an open mind.

I love Elizas writing style and how her series's are full of interconnected stories which are all standalones in their own right.

This was an emotional one for me and I think this series is my favourite of all Elizas work to date.

Hawks Redemption is Book Two in the series and it had a real deep and raw feel to it. Eliza delves into topics like addiction, faith, mental health and indigenous struggles but they are all handled and written beautifully. Its a must read to me!
