Love is a journey. One you embark on with the highest of expectations. Expectations are fantasies. Ones you imagine with no limitations. Marriage. Sex. Life. It all came with… Limits. You fall, get back up again, and repeat. Then, when you least expect it your whole world pivots. Being tired came with revelations. My smile could, in fact, reach my ears, I was wrong to equate fantasies to my expectations. And a man could, in fact, stand on business. About me. For me. Inside of me. But heartbreak came with a companion named fear. However, a wise woman told me, When the right person pushes Heartbreak aside for fear to rear its head, hold them near.
Imagine being married to the man who you thought would love, cherish, protect, and provide for you ONLY to realize he’s none of these things and you’ve been carrying your entire marriage solo. Yeah Azuri was a trooper because when the drinking became too much he would have been a single and free man. When she finally decided enough was enough and left him. It was up!
Who would have thought the man who doesn’t take much of anything seriously be the man to come in and show you all the ways you should have been getting treated. Y’all Elias did not play about Azuri and he stood on business when it came to showing her how he could heal her through her heartbreak. Elias literally showed Azuri all the ways she was worthy, deserving, and lovable.
He spoke life, love, and beauty into her. He allowed no one to play when it came to her and he gave her what she needed each time she needed it, in order for her to see how strong she truly was. You’re gonna get laughs, BDE, unaliving, and love with Heartbreak. Don’t miss out on this 5 star read. Thank you Jas I loved Elias and Azuri so much.
This was a cool lil romance um glad Azuri got the love she deserved. The main reason I didn’t give it five stars is because some stuff was just left unresolved or introduced with a wack conclusion. We don’t know why her mama hated her guts, we ain’t really get into why Asya ran off. Like sure she said she just felt unlovable but like you abandon your child cus of that??? Then the whole Marli story was wack, Elias kept having these bad feelings and vibes but only around Marli so why was he still allowing her into his space. I feel like this author is super talented and she’s gonna tell a good story but I notice that she introduces themes are situations that’s she doesn’t delve into fully. The “divorce” was anticlimatic like I just needed more intensity from that situation. Love Jayde and Zuri’s friendship and the relationship she was building with EJ was adorable.
This literary gem was a delectable feast of hilarity that was totally worth the agonizing wait! Elias is the unhinged icing of verbal chaos, spewing whatever wild thought ricochets through his gloriously unfiltered brain. His comedic prowess is so epic I was cackling like a hyena on espresso. Not only is this man a walking comedy routine but his brain appears to have taken a permanent vacation. Between the war with the tornado and the surprise in the wine bottle Elias is pure unadulterated chaos in human form. The moment he started playing patty cake with ole girl's bald spots I lost it. Azuri's unconditional love for this walking disaster is "chef's kiss" because she's equally unhinged. The plot twist about who's causing the mayhem? Absolutely jaw dropping because they should have been sending Elias a thank you basket instead of creating chaos. Jas B has crafted a masterpiece that didn't just entertain me, it resurrected my will to live. More please!!💚💚
Elias was the fav out of all of them for me. He was patient with Azuri & he reminds me of another character. I’m glad she stood on business with Lamont trash butt & her cousin was trifling! Both Lamont’s and Azuri’s Moma was disgustingly. Live the bounce back from Levi. Marli marli marli!!!!…… I’m love the bond between EJ & Zuri and Aysa could’ve communicated better with Eli. Overall I loved this read!
I knew Elias and Azuri were going to be a great story. Married or not Elias told that women your man and meant every word even through all the bullshit that both had going on. That man walked that lady through her divorce and made sure she knew he was dead ass about her being his women and let her ex husband know it. They both had a crazy side to them and were mad for each other. Hell even the baby momma was on board from jump. Loved loved loved the closing out of this series!!
My boy Elias did exactly what I felt like he was going to do. Poor Azuri didn't stand a chance. They are truly meant for each other. And all the men in this series are down for any and all shenanigans. Giani be going through it with Jayde & Zuri. I need another book for Elias & Azuri!
With him being unhinged and clearly dropped on his head as a child. And her just a little off too. These two were just right for each other. After some serious thought out of every body book I think Giani book was my favorite! Although I love all of these guys! Outstanding job!
I loved that Elias was there every step of the way with Azuir as she went through her heartbreak, but also, the journey of healing and loving again with Elias. He was so patient and knew what she needed at every turn. Elias was a manic and so funny in this book.
I love me some Elias and Miss Peaches!!!…They had action from start to finish!!!…They showed that when you work together, you can make things happen!!!…I hope there is more to come for these couples!!!… Elias kept them all laughing, even while serious!!!…
Lawd!!! I shouldn’t have laughed this much reading this book but Elias is a dang fool! He’s logic made sense to him. Shooting at a tornado took me out 😂😂😂
Jas B. Came through with another one. I was pissed off and laughing sometimes at the same time. Elias has no sense! Zuri was cute and I’m glad she got herself together. I hope to see them in the future especially Elias crazy tail.
