The Flash Companion details the publication histories of the four heroes who have individually earned the right to be declared DC Comics' -Fastest Man Jay Garrick, Barry Allen, Wally West, and Bart Allen. With articles about legendary creators Shelly Mayer, Gardner Fox, Julius Schwarts, Ross Andru, and others, plus all-new interviews of Harry Lampert, Carmine Infantino, Alex Saviuk, Marv Wolfman, Mike Baron, Mark Waid, and Scott Kolins, among others, The Flash Companion recounts the scarlet speedster's evolution from the Golden Age to the 21st century.
This is exactly what I look for in the TwoMorrows books; a well written history of not just the Flash's over the years, but those who worked on the character. Great interviews and behind the scene knowledge, and while some things are repeated the book never actually becomes repetitive.
Basically a collection of articles from other sources this is not really what I was looking for in a reference book. Overall I was disappointed. Not recommended
