A technological thriller about what would happen if businessmen could influence the weather and manipulate resources. The main characters of Adam, Claire and David have to decipher the snippets of information which is being picked up on transmissions. We follow them as they start to put it together with the help of an ancient manuscript. There is a lot of technical jargon but that doesn't detract from the story which gallops along at a pace (pun intended). I really got to feel for the characters and I didn't want anything to happen to them. Keep me up late reading so I could finish it. Really enjoyed it as it is a departure from my usual police/crime books. If you like technological thrillers and dystopian future this makes a great read. with thanks to the author for allowing me to read this.

What if history wasn’t recorded, but engineered?

That chilling thought gets deeply explored in The Horsemen’s Shadow (Book 2 of The Septem Cycle), an incredibly immersive and fast-paced thriller written with masterful precision by Joe Nathan Paul. This book is a gripping read that’s packed with mythology, ancient secrets, and nonstop action.

The highlight I loved about this book is how effortlessly mystery and history were blended. The storyline was filled with suspense, exotic settings, and mind-bending twists. What truly made it stand out was the way it kept surprising the reader page after page.

The author has done a fantastic job in crafting a world that feels dangerously real. His pacing is sharp, his imagination vivid, and his characters unforgettable. The writing is engaging, lucid, and designed to pull readers in from the very first sentence.

This book is a must-read for anyone who enjoys high-stakes adventures with a touch of the mysterious. I found it to be unputdownable and absolutely satisfying in every way.

Joe Nathan Paul’s storytelling is rich with detail, gripping in execution, and impressive in style. I can’t wait to read more from this talented author.

Overall a riveting, cinematic, and powerful read.

📚My Review:- Recently I came across this book called " The Horsemen's Shadow : The end of the world isn't coming - It's already begun ! " and I couldn't stop myself from getting my hands on it. This fantastic techno-thriller talks about how the powerful Horsemen's have been rulling the world from the shadows since years and about the global collapse which might occur soon leading to huge destruction. The story is absolutely interesting with twists and well crafted thrilling plot. The language used was rich and simple for the readers to understand. If you're a beginner or thriller lover looking for some interesting titles to start with, trust me you'll love it ! Phase Zero which was a technologically designed global collapse was about to begin but before that the characters need to give their best to stop it in order to save the world. Do you think the characters will be successful in their mission? Or will the Phase Zero destroy the entire existence of the world ? It's a gripping, flawless and unforgettable ride that will keep you on the edge of your seat and deeply connected to the amazing characters. I can proudly say that this book has made it's way to my favourites.

“Fear keeps you alive” or “fear keeps you running”. One of the questions within The Horsemen’s Shadow. Joe Nathan Paul’s thriller grips from the prologue to… no spoilers, Sarah! Sorting evil from good is well-nigh impossible, though every character is superbly grounded. Periods of time – decades – are covered, and Mr Paul doesn’t restrict himself to cities we know by repute or from visits – Washington DC, London, UK, Geneva… He ventures within the Vatican with the same aplomb as Dan Brown in Angels and Demons.

Even though you kind of know where the end of the book will take you....what a ride!

This book shows the balance of politics, culture, dedication and intelligence. Right from the beginning, I was on the edge and never receded. The author does a good job of using the human psyche to give reasons for various events which could happen. The superb way in which the good guys fight back and an "over the top" ending and you have a memorable piece of fiction by one of the masters of the genre.

Fantastic!

Scary stuff though if you think about how this could really happen. This book has intense detail and the author forces you to pay attention. You must have patience to push through the detail to find the A-Mazing story. I look at it like there are 10, seemingly unrelated, stories going on at the same time and about half way thru they start, one by one, to come together. You will not be disappointed. Stuff movies are made of.

The moment I picked up The Horsemens Shadow the Septem Cycle by Joe Nathan Paul I knew I was in for a thrilling and conspiracy-filled ride. Fans Of Dan Brown and any political thriller will love the way four "horsemen" have moved through time to engineer and finally destroy earth before moving another world. It makes the reader believe life here was engineered and that science, weather and all politics are part of a plan.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
