This part of the book included the developing romance of Sophy and Charles, her work and increasing knowledge of vintage clothing at the shop, closer relationship with her dad, Johnno, and her desire to go to Australia and help her grandparents either for a while, or for good. As much as she wanted to do this, her budding romance with Charles nearly had her change her mind. She did go, and returned in a year. Johnno went too! Charles waited for her. Let’s see what is next!

With her plan to emigrate to Australia still very much intact, Sophy works harder than ever to save up enough money and pester her Australian father to find his passport and birth certificate so that she can apply for Australian citizenship.
Part of Sophy doesn't believe it will ever happen for her so when it does, she cannot believe her luck. If only she didn't become involved Charles.
