SAGA #2

The Client

Rate this book
Twenty-six-year-old Dani Sommer is juggling business ambitions, tangled emotions, and an irresistible love triangle. Adam Harris still wants her as his wife, but Dani doesn’t know if living the lifestyle she’s always dreamt of outweighs his red flags.

Insert thirty-seven-year-old Gideon Stone: their first meeting redefines instant attraction. He’s tall, buff, and ALPHA (the kind that talks about aftercare)—and Gideon is determined to make Dani his. He’s also the CEO of Real-ity, a company Adam is heavily invested in, further complicating matters.

And Declan Kruk, the brooding blond billionaire, is as impossible to ignore as ever, and now he’s making his move. With Adam, Gideon, and Declan all vying for her heart, Dani must confront her deepest desires and choose who’s best for her, even if it means breaking a few hearts along the way.

To fully experience Dani’s journey, start with The Renter before diving into The Client. This series is a continuous story, and readers will feel lost without Book 1.

I’m sorry?!?! That cliffhanger?

I was not prepared for how conflicted I would be reading this one. Do I want Dani to be with Adam, Gideon, or Declan? It’s the HARDEST DECISION! But I’m constantly rooting for Declan because I just KNOW he is the ONE!

Adam gave me the ICK in this one heavily after the first couple of chapters, so I wasn’t rooting for him for very long.. like BYE ADAM QUIT BEING A CREEP let Dani move on your weirdo!

But that ending just broke my heart into a million pieces. I NEED the next book.. and a minute to recover. I wasn’t expecting that at all.

Do not read this if you want a HEA because it is not an HEA!

Alright Serena, I have beef.. because what the flipping flip did I just read. *smacks head*

This book is INCREDIBLE like literally incredible. When I rated the first book I mentioned how fantastic this series is because its so different. The Client just crushed me. Not only did it crush me but I still loved this so much. The thought that Serena puts into these books is TOP TIER. I think I'll need 2 business days to recover from this novel.

Dani is trying to move on from two toxic past relationships while navigating her new relationship with a business client, Gideon. No matter how amazing her new relationship might be, Dani still struggles to confront her feelings for Declan. Serena crafts a gripping, emotionally charged story with a heart-wrenching twist that lingers long after the final page.

Another 5 ⭐️ read from Serena!!
Im not even surprised at this point. I’ve come to the conclusion that if Serena writes it then it’ll be absolutely amazing!

After two past relationship failures Dani is focusing more on herself and her new business a fast growing PR agency. After finally ending things with Adam Harris (The Renter book1) She’s determined to make her new business a success when she meets up with a new potential client. Gideon Stone (The Client book 2) the CEO of Real-ity. Dani meets up with Gideon for a meeting and they both are immediately attracted to each other. The most lustful, chemistry filled meeting ever. Dani struggles between emotions about being strictly professional or acting on the undeniable chemistry they both share. Needless to say she gains more than just a new client, she also gains a new love interest. While juggling her new career, past and present emotions and a new boyfriend why not throw a love triangle in there! 🫢🫢 Things were going pretty well until Declan comes back into the picture and Dani is yet again confused about her feelings for him! She loves Gideon but she also has strong feelings for Declan. This book is such a rollercoaster of emotions for Dani. If you love a fast paced, drama filled book that will keep you wanting more this is definitely for you! It has everything! Lust, love, spice, heartbreak, and even a love triangle! Highly recommend!

Gideon definitely could’ve been the ONE… BUT…read it find out why!

Serena Pier delivers another enthralling installment in the SAGA Series with The Client, a book that keeps you hooked from start to finish. The story is filled with unexpected twists, deep emotions, and a love triangle that raises the stakes at every turn.

Dani Sommer is a compelling and complex heroine—flawed, ambitious, and refreshingly real. As she navigates her growing PR agency and the intense dynamics of her personal life, her journey feels raw and authentic.

Serena Pier's writing is addictive, blending romance, and drama seamlessly. By the time you turn the last page, you'll be desperate for the next book in the series. If you love romance with depth, spice, and surprises, The Client is a must-read

This has been my absolute favorite of the Saga series so far! The amount of growth we see in Dani is amazing! There was closure and a lot of healing, too.

The last few chapters of the book had me on the edge of my seat. And that ending - huh?!?! What a cliffhanger! I cannot wait for the next book in the series!

Serena Pier did an exceptional job with this one!

5⭐4.5🌶️

Book 2 in the SAGA series is a wildly addictive, emotionally charged continuation of Dani Sommer’s chaotic, captivating journey.

Meet Gideon Stone: CEO of a realty tech company, tall and jacked with smoldering hazel eyes, inky black hair, and a subtle accent that could make you thank him for absolutely ruining your life. He’s got billionaire status, undeniable charm, and alpha energy—but what makes him completely irresistible is the emotional intelligence, kindness, and patience he brings to the table. He listens, he respects, and he holds space for Dani in a way no one else has.

Dani, meanwhile, is doing her best to build a new life, launching her own business and trying to distance herself from her traumatic past. But … she makes some choices. I adore her growth, but her habit of leading with pure emotion (zero logic, all vibes) had me screaming. She’s magnetic, flirtatious, and undeniably real—but also a bit of a chaos tornado. A hot one, but still.

Their connection is instant and electric, full of tension that makes your heart race and your Kindle sweat. The dual POV adds so much depth and makes you feel everything from both sides. Gideon’s steady, grounding presence paired with Dani’s wildfire unpredictability creates the perfect storm of longing and intensity.

Like book one, the writing flows effortlessly with those short, bingeable chapters that make it so easy to fall headfirst into the story. Even the longer chapters flew by because I was completely hooked.

The spice is immediate, intense, and absolutely feral. Gideon is deliciously possessive without ever being overly controlling, and Dani gives as good as she gets. There’s a safe word, so….yeah.

But fair warning—the ending? Complete and utter heartbreak. I’m talking sobbing, clutching-your-chest kind of devastation. I was not okay. Bring tissues. You’ve been warned.

I cannot wait for The Reporter (Book 3) to come out—I need closure, revenge, and probably a call with my therapist.

ARC Review: The Client by Serena Pier

The Client is the second book in the Saga series.

Dani Sommer has finally broken up with Adam Harris and is determined to move forward with her life—focusing on growing her business and gaining independence. Though Adam still lingers in the background, she soon finds herself drawn to a new love interest: Gideon Stone, the CEO of Real-ity and a potential client. Their undeniable chemistry leads them to prioritize their attraction over business. However, their relationship is anything but smooth, as vices and outside influences create obstacles. Despite the challenges, their feelings intensify in a short span of time. But does Dani find her happily ever after?

I’m quite impressed with this series. It begins lightly, with lust taking center stage, but gradually deepens into a more dramatic and emotional journey. The climaxes are often unexpected—and not always in a way that romance lovers would hope.

The novel incorporates several tropes: strangers to lovers, alpha male, age gap, and a love triangle. The plot is simple, filled with steamy scenes and emotional moments that could be triggering for some readers. Two books in, and I still can’t decide if I like Dani. For the most part, I find her actions childish and frustrating. However, in this installment, she shows some growth, thanks to Declan and Gideon. I was proud of her—until she made yet another questionable decision.

I enjoyed her relationship with Gideon; they seemed to complement each other well. The ending was truly unexpected, and I can only hope I’m wrong about my suspicions regarding that awful event.

If you love drama-filled love triangles with plenty of erotic scenes, this series is worth checking out.

ARC REVIEW
Thank God for ARC's and understanding authors!
I finished The Renter and immediately downloaded the ARC for this one (The Client).
Dani Sommer's story continues. She has a better, clearer picture of who she is and who she wants to be thanks to her time with Adam Harris.
Adam is a reactive, emotional power broker who doesn't always make the most rational of decisions in real time. His snap reactions cause Dani to run for the hills....as she should.
Loving someone doesn't just stop because they do something stupid and scary, unfortunately so they aren't a "couple" but they aren't completely separated either. And with that in mind, we meet Gideon Stone.
The chemistry is off the charts with these two. He's a calm, golden-retriever, intelligent, successful dreamboat of a man. Is he too good to be true? Will Dani know how to deal with someone who apparently has her best interest at heart?
What about her obsessive ex? What lengths is he willing to go to to get her back?
I haven't even mentioned Declan yet.....
are Dani's feelings for him too big to be ignored?
Decisions. Decisions.
So with a true love triangle in play what is Dani thinking? How will she react? What will she do? Will her decisions stand up?
Will that phone call at the end of the book change everything?
I guess I will have to wait too....and no I'm not happy about that.
I read this book really quickly because I literally could not put it down!
Serena Pier has sucked me into this world! Her writing is honest and emotional. She keeps us on our toes, wondering what's next.
I'm happy that Dani is becoming a thoughtful, confident woman.
I can't wait for her to realize that change never stops and that we learn something about who we are every single damn day of our lives.
Bring on The Reporter!

ARC Review – 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
Dani is back, and yet another powerful man is falling at her feet. This time, though, she’s stronger, more confident, and fully embracing her independence. Her business is thriving, and she’s taking this relationship at her own pace—something I absolutely loved seeing.
My first thought? Thank fuck Adam is gone. But nope, turns out he’s back on his bullshit and crazier than ever.
This book had me laughing, squealing, kicking my feet, and saying fucking men almost every other paragraph—none of them ever listen. They all want to control her in one way or another, but Dani isn’t having it.

Enter our MMC Gideon. While I loved him in some moments, in others, I wanted to throttle him. He’s a much better fit for Dani than anyone before him, and there’s no doubt he truly loves her. But, like all the men in her life, so much of their relationship is dictated by what he wants or doesn't want and his timing. That said, at least he’s a better communicator than the others (most of the time) and, almost always, he genuinely supports Dani.

And of course, Declan is still around, stirring up drama. But in his own Declan way, he just wants what’s best for our Dani—even if his version of that is a little warped and slightly culty. It was nice to learn more about him and finally get some closure on the whole Sorin saga.

Serena Pier delivers yet another addictive read packed with tension, drama, and a heroine who just keeps getting better. If you love strong FMCs, messy exes, and a romance that keeps you on edge, The Client is a must-read!

And that ending?? I was not prepared. Serena Pier truly knows how to leave readers screaming for the next book.

Wow this is getting deeper and deeper with a jaw dropping ending to this roller coaster ride. Dani has found a new love interest and it is not who you think it is. But she is still struggling in many areas of her life and Adam is not giving up. His character is becoming unhinged and I knew it was coming. This new character seems as obsessive as him just on a different level. Declan is still looking out for her and she is spiraling. I am interested in how she will move forward from this latest disaster in her life.

Starts off faster than book one. I was able to keep reading and not put it down. This book is far more emotional than the last and I had a hard time not crying with her. This books is steady paced and the story is developing at a slow and steady rate. It dives deep into her and her past along with her future. It is hard to picture right now where she will end up after all of it is said and done, but I think Adam is going to go off the rails in the next book. More so than he is already. He has a sick and twisted concept when it comes to her.

If you are ok with deeply emotional and damaged characters, then this story is for you. It is full of sorry, emotional damage, mental damage and false love. It is interesting watching Dani sift through the ashes of her life, but I am worried how things will move forward for her and if she will able to ever stand on her own two feet and not make rash decisions in her life. This book is dark and has many triggers, so be sure to check those out before reading and be sure to read the first book. This is not a standalone read.

Oh my god, these cliffhangers!!!! Don’t get me started on this heartbreaking ending. What a wild ride this book was! This book leaves you wanting to immediately pick up the next book and yet we have to wait!! I couldn’t stand Adam from the moment we were introduced to him in The Renter. He just gave me ‘the ick’ the entire time and same in this book, The Client.

I don’t really know how to feel about Dani… I feel like she’s so impulsive and a little too trusting and needs to grow up a bit. I did feel like though her connection with Gideon happened so quickly (same as with Adam), her relationship with G was helping her grow and mature a bit more in different ways, while staying fun and young all at the same time. Between Gideon and Declan, no wonder she’s having such a difficult time with her feelings, look at these guys! They truly both care about her. It’s a rollercoaster of feelings and emotions when it comes to Dani and her love life.

I couldn’t put this down, it was page after page fully invested in seeing what happens next. I truly can’t wait for the next book in this saga!

Serena’s writing truly is addictive. She keeps you hanging on and wanting more. She is so great at combining spice, drama, fun, and real-life problems all wrapped into one. I love her writing style!

I do have a guess that The One may end up being Eric, Adam’s brother, but we shall see…

If you love strangers to lovers, age gap, millionaire/billionaire, and/or a love triangle, then this book is for you!

I thought the cliffhanger in book 1 was bad; oh no, make sure you are sitting down with this one! Your jaw will drop with this ending!! You will absolutely be begging for MORE!! 😮
Dani discovers a lot about herself and learns that she has a lot of choices to make. I feel like she makes a lot of growth in this book! She loves Adam, but due to the rash reactions and some of his anger issues; Dani officially calls it quits. We are then introduced to Gideon. Gideon is a Reality Tech Savy CEO (prospective Client) alpha male.
The chemistry between Dani and Gideon is instant, intense, and heart racing; between the banter, passion, spice, romance, and puppy dog moments! 🖤🌶️🔥 Gideon falls for Dani for everything she is and treats her so good! Dani truly seems happy with “G” and she seems like she is finally figuring out what she wants in life; until her past shows up again; this time in the shape of an ex’s brother named, Declan. Dani then realizes she has even more life decisions to make.
So with a true love triangle what will Dani do? Who will she choose? What will she do? Will Gideon stand up to Adam? Will he stand up to Declan? Will Gideon win the girl?
Can one wrong choice have Dani falling back into old habits?!
I read this book within 2 days and could NOT put it down! Serena Pier is genius and knows how to write a plot; write steamy and sweaty spice; and knows how to write a jaw dropping cliffhanger without missing a beat! You will NOT be disappointed! I’m anxiously awaiting for book 3! I HAVE to have answers!! 😳❤️

Dani Sommer is not looking for any type of relationship. Her ex-fiance, Adam, is still trying to convince her to marry him, and she is unfortunately still connected to him through their jobs. Dani has a PR agency, and Adam is the one that helped her start her company. Adam gives her a suggestion for one of his investment companies, Real-ity. Gideon Stone is the CEO of Real-ity and a billionaire in the making. He’s working on himself in the gym, as well as has a major focus on his business, until Dani walks into his office and shifts his focus.

Dani and Gideon both know a relationship between the two isn’t the smartest idea, but the connection is so strong they both ignore the warnings and follow their hearts. Dani’s past does come to haunt her as her ex’s brother Declan is also part of this world she now works in, and he continues to put himself in her life asking for a chance.

I am a big fan of this series, it is so different from what I usually pick up, and I am HOOKED on Serena’s writing style. The characters have me feeling every emotion they feel, and I am so attached to Dani and her choices, as well as I have my suspicions on who could be “The One” but I am trying SO HARD to not get my hopes up in case I am wrong. I loved the first book in the series, The Renter, and up until a major plot twist I loved Adam, however, after this book I have a completely different opinion.

Thank you to Grey’s Promotions and Serena Pier for the ARC opportunity!

We’re back in Dani’s dangerously addictive love-life saga, and if you haven’t read The Townie and The Renter, stop right now and go do that… because this book hits so much harder when you know everything she’s already survived.

Dani is 26 and finally trying to put herself first—chasing her PR career, building something that’s hers, and keeping her heart locked down after Sorin and Adam wrecked it. But Adam doesn’t let go so easily and ends up pushing her straight into the arms of Gideon—his rich, powerful, devastatingly hot coworker. Ex’s friend. Millionaire. He falls first. Protective. Soft for her. Scared she’s going to destroy him. Gideon instantly became my favorite MMC in this entire saga because he doesn’t just want Dani… he needs her.

And just when things start to feel good—Serena Pier drops an emotional nuclear bomb halfway through this book. Dani goes through so much loss here that it honestly broke my heart. This isn’t just about romance anymore… it’s grief, trauma, and trying to keep breathing when everything keeps getting ripped away.

Add in:
• a stalker
• an intense reunion with Declan
• two proposals
• and Dani being in her twenties while powerful men keep fighting for her

It’s chaotic, sexy, tragic, and completely consuming.

That ending? I was NOT ready. I need the next book immediately because Dani’s story owns me now.

Trigger warnings: overdose, death, drugs, alcohol.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ emotionally wrecked, wildly obsessed

I've been waiting for this book for what has felt like an eternity. I'm so attached to the SAGA series and Dani Sommers just like these mens tend to get with her. Dani has been progressively maturing and it shows a lot in this book. She has created more boundaries for herself and is able to catch herself from repeating history. She is more aware of other people's actions and what that means for her. I can see that she values her self worth more in this book with this new guy in the picture. Gideon, is likeable, and you feel that from the beginning when he is introduced. Successful, hot, caring, etc. , I mean, sounds dreamy right? But things are always too good to be true for Dani so of course this book is filled with lots of twists and turns as her life tends to have. Some returning characters make an appearance in this book and a certain someone has me wrapped around his finger! I enjoy the complexity of multiple stories, connections and development that Serena has been doing with this series and I can't wait for more.

As always, Serena always perfects the spicy scenes. They are everything you want and more. She just knows what she's doing in that department.

The ending happened so fast and wtf 👀 is all I had to say like HUH? WHY? 90 DAYS RUINED?! 🥴 (iykyk)

Sorry guys, I'm team Declan so that's how the ending made me feel 🫣

Coming of the events of The Renter, Dani is continuing to grow her PR business and dealing with her friends towards Adam. There is definitely still love there, but many issues to get past.

Enter Gideon who gets referred to Dani for her services since he is now partnered with Adam and she's a preferred vendor. The attraction is instant, and Gideon decides he would rather pursue Dani over hiring her.

As with the first book, Declan continues to be in the background and inserting himself in her life. As the brother of her ex, Sorin, he has always felt something for her while she tries to deny it. Jealousy abounds between all of the men surrounding Dani.

Even once Dani cuts as many ties, from Adam, that she can...he's always there and forces Gideon & Declan to band together for her protection.

Things are great, after a break until they're not. I won't spoil the ending, but remember what Serena has told us...Dani's HEA doesn't come until the last book. This series is her coming of age saga.

To say that I'm emotionally destroyed is a complete and utter understatement. I know book 3 will be out soon enough, but I am already itching for it and 4. I cried so freaking hard during that epilogue that it's unreal!! If platforms allowed more than 5⭐, you'd definitely have that from me on this.

I'm both grateful and not that I received an ARC for this. I absolutely loved the book, but I don'tk now how I'm going to wait....

I need a moment to take it all in. Throughout the whole book, I was waiting for Dani to finally realize what she truly wants! I'm so glad and grateful to see her growing stronger, more independent, smarter, and responsible. She no longer trusts blindly.

I felt such a huge relief when Sorin overdosed. And honestly, I was frustrated every single time Adam was mentioned. That man is insane. I can’t wait to finally be rid of him. He killed Gideon just to break Dani because he thought she belonged to him. No way. No fucking way. She is done with him.

Gideon was truly an amazing guy. He loved Dani for everything she was—her intelligence, beauty, sexiness, curiosity, generosity, love, spontaneity, and sheer brilliance. He admired her motivation and hard work. But… BUT…

We can’t forget about Declan.
He’s been there all along. Watching her. Pushing her. Making her stronger. Getting inside her head. And in the end, he’s the only one who can save Dani from herself.

I absolutely loved this book. It was smooth, intense, and filled with love and passion. I can’t wait for the next part to see how they finally deal with Adam.
This is a must-read!

The Client is the next part of Dani's journey, picking up after The Renter and with Dani and Adam now broken up, although Adam is still lurking around, trying to get back into Dani's life. Enter Gideon, a new client for her business who decides he wants more than just a business relationship. Don't forget Declan (her ex Sorin's brother) who has been floating around in the background and is now coming more to the fore.

Dani and Gideon have an insane chemistry between them and Gideon challenges Dani in ways that she has never faced before. But with Declan making a comeback, Dani is forced to face her feelings for him and the emotions of both the past and present. Putting Adam (who won't go away) in the mix and you get an impossible love triangle.

The Client see's Dani grow and start to mature more, but nothing in this series is guaranteed. You get drama, steam++, twists, turns and that ending.... still no answers just yet - The author was upfront that this is connected series, which I am looking forward to continuing to read.

I had to sit on this one for a couple of days to gather my thoughts before I left a review. I knew it was going to end on a cliff hanger but I still wasn't prepared for what The Client had in store. I've suffered a severe book-hangover after this one, but in a good way (If you know, you know). I love Serena Pier's writing at this point if she writes it, I will read it! You can always expected unmatched banter! And the spice is SPICY! I laughed, I cried, I cracked a lot of smiles...but I was also angry at the end!
Before you read The Client make sure that you read The Townie (which is the prequel please check the trigger warnings before you start this one, it is much darker than the others) and The Renter. I have read all 3 at this point and you need to read the others to fully understand Dani and her journey.
This is a coming of age story, a more realistic coming of age that shows the ups and downs, the darkness and the light, that I believe most of us have experienced along the way.
Some Tropes include: Coming of Age, Age Gap, Instalust, Strangers to Lovers, Millionaire/Billionaire, Love Triangle, Alpha Male, Independent FMC.

The Client starts off where The Renter ends. After an Explosive fight Dani and Adam are taking a break. Despite that Adam refuses to let her go and helps make connections to move her future forward.
Dani is introduced to Gideon through Adam for a possible PR job.
Gideon is handsome, successful, captivating and enigmatic.
After refusing to hire Dani, Gideon proceeds to try and get her to date him instead.
Once again Dani is swept away into and casual quickly turned fast hot and heavy relationship. Despite all of that things are rocky with Dani and Gideon.
Adam still refusing to let her go.
And what about Declan. He's always there just waiting for everything to be right and ready for his turn.
The second in this series is filled with lust, passion, and drama. You need to read the Renter first and the series isn't over book ends on a tragic cliff hanger. If you can take that then it's time to dive in to this world because it is absolutely fantastic!

Dani Sommer is a woman with many goals.... and love interests (insert wink here). This book has the love triangle we all wanted. Dani has finally decided to choose herself and end things with Adam while growing her independence and business. Her heart belongs to Adam, but she is soon drawn to Gideon Stone, a new client that brings her passion alive again. Dani goes through a rollercoaster of emotions and torment as she navigates passion and business. The ending is a surprise waiting to drag readers into this series deeper. Read The Client for more juicy details.

This story has a lot of conflict and emotional confrontation internally. Dani is working to achieve her professional goals while gambling with passion. Dani has to confront her emotions about her new Gideon while still having a pull to Adam, who we all loved in book one. This fast paced drama is a must read book if you like love triangles, passion, heartbreak, and anguish.

Wow!!! This book was a whirlwind of emotions. I was not prepared at all for that ending!! Like MIND BLOWN! I need more now.

Dani sure knows how to attract the strong and rich men. She is trying to decide her feelings with Adam and decide if she can move on with or without him. He has helped her so much growing her business and helping her get her own place, but he has anger issues that she can not ignore.

Gideon is an 6’4 alpha male that goes after what he wants. He is a potential client for Dani, but he wants much more than that from her. But he is linked to her ex, Adam also.

This was a crazy love triangle. Dani tried to break it off with Adam that does not know how to take no for an answer. Then she starts falling quickly for Gideon. Rollercoaster of emotions happening. Sparks are flying. Business issues happening all around. It’s crazy! And I still can’t get over that cliffhanger of an ending. I did not see it coming.

This story had me wanting to know more. I loved following Dani on her growth both professionally and in her personal life. Her life is never boring. She Mets Gideon and he decides he wants her and refuses to use her PR company like Adam wants him to. The journey that Dani and Gideon have is nothing short of relatable to real life. Dani struggles over her feelings with Gideon, left over feelings for Adam (who seems to pop up from time to time), unexplored feelings for Declan, and even memories of Sorin. Dani goes through so much in this book. She seems to finally be getting everything she wants in life. She is happy with Gideon and the choices they make for their life, but just like life she has choices she is still uncertain about. Making one choice sets her on a down spiral and then a horrible event happens that has Dani falling back into old habits. The ending of this book shocked me and has me needing the next.

Bingable, Sweet & Spicy, Emotional Ferris Wheel💨🍬🌶️🎡

The Client is book 2 in Serena Pier’s SAGA series. We are introduced to Gideon (G); Dani’s tall, dark, super buff & handsome client. G is easy to fall for with his equally sweet & spicy personality.🍬🌶️

I love how Serena continues to explore & expand on Dani’s non-linear growth with boundaries, sobriety, impulse control & self-preservation. Dani rides an emotional ferris wheel in this book as she strives to make better life choices & take better care of herself while at times purchasing a ticket back onto her old hamster wheel of unhealthy coping strategies & defense mechanisms ride🎟️🎡

This book kept me turning the pages as fast as I could because I needed to know what happened next. I don’t know what Serena puts in these books but they are addicting! I did not see the ending plot twist coming. I cannot wait for the next book in the series to drop because I desperately need to know what happens next in Dani’s story.📚💨

I’ve grown attached to Dani throughout the series & she feels like a friend or little sister to me now. I definitely see pieces of my younger self in her which makes her very relatable. I’m also even more in love with Declan now & pray he is the one🙏🫶

This was so good! I wasn't expecting to cry, but I totally did.
When I first started this series, I wasn't sure how I could root for a guy who I knew wasn't going to be the one for Dani, but Serena Pier makes this work so well! Dani's growth has been incredible, and it happens in a way that you don't usually get to see in a series like this. You can feel everything she is feeling, and I'm scared to feel the emotions we know she's going to have to process in the next book.

I think at this point, we all know who "the one" is, and that slow burn is 💋

This series feels like it could be a TV show. I actually would love to see it on screen someday. It keeps you hooked, and you fall in love the same way Dani does each and every time. I love it. Can't wait for the next season, I mean...book!
Right now, I need to go cry myself to sleep.
