Poignant and profound. The vignettes are really beautifully written, there’s something deeply human in every page. I think anyone could see a part of themselves in Justin’s story.

It's a wonderful romanticized life in vignette.

Here after Netflix: a puzzle? What an invitation! Everyone thinks they can solve it - yes - but I, too, am everyone.

We hop in to keep the feeling of making progress on a puzzle going just a bit longer, but it's really just grand to have a well-written loving look at a life and those that shaped it because maybe that's how we all think of our own life? Vignettes of molding moments with rosy humor at misadventure and rememberance of pain that's still our own but reminds us of our love...or the pure inevitable result at the end of body + time.

I now have all the information to solve everything, I'm sure but I'm glad you get the meet the person behind the puzzle as well. Especially a dog person :)

A fair amount of hyperbole and (I would imagine) exaggeration, but I still loved it! I’m not usually a fan of vignette-style reads, but I found this one to be a treat. I may be biased though, as I’m familiar with many of his MT story locations. Definitely watch Gold & Greed on Netflix before reading…you might just get hooked like me (and several family members). Time to go hunt for some treasure! 🤠

Justin Posey weaves comedy and deep self-reflection through humble stories from his life. Culminating in a treasure hunt for the ages, Posey lives up to his families storied history of not only seeking treasure, but finding it in the best places. A loving spouse, a hyperactive pup, a brotherhood, and childhood stories that last beyond a lifetime.

Loved it!! Justin had me chuckling out loud a few times. I felt like I was living through the adventures with him. Lastly, his bond and heartfelt memories with his brother and Tucker were so special. I could feel his pain. The poem about Tucker had me in tears. Emotionally captivating. Highly recommend.

I haven't been lucky enough to receive a physical copy, but I bought the digital this week as backup and finished it last night!
I could NOT stop reading / thinking about the story and the way it has truly captivated me as well as captured my undivided attention out of nowhere!
The general feeling radiates of originality, nostalgia, and truly personal stories - most of which have an important sentimental lesson or something learned the hard way!

We are out hunting for the treasure already and having a great time. The journey is the treasure for us. Loved the book although it was a bit metaphor heavy at times but wait, maybe those are clues! I better go back and review those. Justin’s love for his family really comes through and his bond for his dog, Tucker. Enjoying every minute of the hunt you started. Thanks.

Once you forgive the hyperbole and let a fisherman tell his fishing stories, it’s quite the tale. Plausible? Based in truth, but most certainly not. The kind of story his dad would tell to get Grandpa Posey’s approval? Most certainly yes, and embellished to the gills.

This book is written in the same style as Forrest Fenn's memoir. If you liked that book, you'll love this one. If you like adventure and treasure hunting, you'll love this book. It's easy to read and funny in some parts.
