Remote Control
My name’s Samantha Jones, though only my mum calls me Samantha, usually when I’m in trouble. This happens a lot.
You can call me Sam.
I have a best friend who I’ve known for ages. He’s funny, kind, helpful and dare I say it, easy on the eyes.
You can call him Jack. It’s okay, he will be fine with this. He may not be ok with my last comment though.
I also have a dad, Ernest, he’s great. But bizarre, I can admit that. He loves tinkering in his basement lab, and has invented a remote control that allows you to travel between dimensions. That’s also great. Until he never came back.
Now Jack and I have to find him. That won’t be easy. There are way too many dimensions, way too much danger, and not enough time.
On top of that, Jack keeps looking at me funny. Well not me exactly, another me from a different dimension. But we’re the same, right? I’m not really sure what to make of that.
Full of action, heart, and humour in equal measure, The Dad Shaped Hole in the Multiverse is perfect for fans of The Maze Runner and the 5th Wave, and anyone who's ever wished their best friend would just admit it already.
