🤔Thoughts: This was a gripping thriller, unputadownable I basically read in one sitting (late evening and then finished following day) it pulled me in from the very beginning right to the end and even then I didn’t expect the twist that happened!! I was trying to figure it out through out and when you think you have it, you really don’t!

⚠️ WARNING: However how much I adored this book, please check your trigger warnings before reading this book, it’s very heavy on SA, Grooming, drugging & R@pe. There is no explicit scenes or description but please keep it in mind.

🥹Overall: Frankie’s pregnant with baby number two, and this time the morning sickness is non-stop. She’s completely wiped out, and her little girl Olivia is a total bundle of energy — which makes things even harder. Enter Jasmine, who shows up to help take care of Olivia. At first, it seems like perfect timing… but Frankie can’t shake the feeling that something’s not quite right.

This was a really solid psychological thriller with a steady build-up and plenty of red flags to keep you guessing. I liked how the tension slowly crept in, and you’re constantly wondering — is Frankie onto something, or is Jasmine just being super helpful? Frankie’s character felt really well done, and watching her start to spiral made the story even more gripping. The fact that they’re all stuck in the same house adds a nice, claustrophobic vibe that ramps things up.

Olivia was a great little character too — so cute and full of life! I don’t want to spoil anything, because it’s definitely a story that’s best to go into blind.

The author did a great job with the character dynamics and making you question everyone’s motives. The portrayal of pregnancy and how rough it can be felt really realistic too. All the characters felt believable and well-rounded.

It’s well written, the twist hit nicely, and everything came together in a really satisfying way at the end.
