No one survived the last battle unscathed. Flint is angry at the world, Jaxon is turning into something I don’t recognize, and Hudson has put up a wall I’m not sure I’ll ever break through.
Now war is coming, and we’re not ready. We’re going to need an army to have any hope of winning. But first, there are questions about my ancestors that need answers. Answers that might just reveal who the real monster is among us.
And that’s saying something in a world filled with bloodthirsty vampires, immortal gargoyles, and an ancient battle between two gods.
There’s no guarantee that anyone will be left standing when the dust settles, but if we want to save this world, I have no choice. I’ll have to embrace every part of me...even the parts I fear the most.

This series guys 😩. I absolutely loved it and the ending was so wholesome. If you haven’t read it yet then please do. You won’t regret it! 5/5⭐️ book for me.
This is the fourth book in the series and you get to follow Grace and the gang again for their final battle against Silus. Will she manage to get the support she needs in time? Is she willing to risk it all to save her friends? Or will she loose everyone she loves including her gargoyle?
This series just AHHHHH, love it! It’s absolutely amazing and one of my new favorite. It was just such a nice listen and I will put this as one of the series I will never stop recommending. It had the banter, the humor, the action, the plot, the development, the characters! It had absolutely everything! So are you looking for a good romantasy? Look over here! Here’s one!
I really liked this book, there was a lot of action. Sometimes it was a bit to much action for me. I would've loved if they would rest a little more and build there friendship/love. But I get that it was not possible in the setting it was written. I love Hudson and Grace together. And oh my, that accent from Hudson in the graphic audio. It makes it perfect 😍
You don't know what the other person in any given situation is dealing with or their reasoning for being there. Tracy Wolff did a great job showing that fact and showing that leading with kindness can sometimes be the key.
Grace? Fully stepping into her power, and it’s terrifying and gorgeous. Hudson? The walls finally shatter — and you’re drowning in his guilt and devotion. The Vampire Court? A horror show of power grabs, ancient secrets, and unforgivable choices.
In this finale half:
Soul bonds are tested and nearly torn apart
The line between love and survival is razor-thin
Hudson’s backstory hits like a blade to the chest
Grace faces decisions no one should have to make
Oh, and the body count? Not low.
And that one audio moment in the Trial Room? You were straight-up unwell.
💖 Character / Audio Reactions:
Grace’s command voice? Chilling in the best way. Hudson’s raw vulnerability?? Gutted. Jaxon’s silent scenes hurt louder than dialogue. Flint, Macy, Eden = the only people keeping anyone sane. One particular villain voice? Utterly repulsive — perfectly acted.
✨ Themes you heard and felt:
Sometimes power isolates more than it protects
Loving someone doesn't mean saving them from themselves
Redemption arcs hurt more when they're earned
Loyalty and love can look a lot like war
🔥 Smut Level: Still not explicit, but the dramatized soul-bond moments were devastatingly sensual. That kiss? Practically illegal in audio form. The soft confessions layered with magical tension?? Whew. #SmutTags: #SoulBondScorchedEarth #HudsonUnraveledMe #KissMeLikeTheWorldsEnding #TraumaBondedAndBurning #SilentTensionScreamed #BreathlessMagicMoments
