So Derek and Stiles decide on a sex buddy system, in case they ever get by some sort of fuck or die curse. They never really expected to need it. Then Derek gets hit by the special wolfsbane, and Stiles has to fuck him.
Really hot, basically PWP though.

Pretty much a PWP but I still liked it far more than expected.
Sex-pollen and a sex-buddy system means Sterek happens.
It's labelled dub-con but isn't really, both repeatedly ensure there's consent and the chance to back off.
Hot, kinda tender too, not romantic but this is the first of several ficlets.

This was a nice little story. Super hot smex. The whole "fuck or die" trope doesn't bother me all that much, if handled well, which it was here.
I was worried going in about the consent tags but it didn't affect me in the end because the guys are good friends, who trust each other implicitly.
I did a naughty thing and skim read the other parts in this series because I had some worries about what would happen next. Suffice to say, I won't be reading the other parts in full.

Fuck or die situation after Derek gets hit by magical wolfsbane.
This is the first in a series of six short stories that are essentially PWPs each on their own, but give a fuller impression of a relationship forming between Derek and Stiles when read all together.
This one is not a bad read, but didn't really engage me all that much. There should have been a ton of tension in this from the premise, but I didn't feel it. Derek and Stiles acted like total pals and Stiles was just doing Derek a solid by helping him out - just like he would help him move or give him a ride somewhere.
I love this author's other works, but not sure about where this series is going.

I'm with everyone else on this one - I feel like the dubcon tags and explanations on this one are completely unnecessary because there was sweet, clear consent at every stage. Overall, a cute vignette with all sorts of paranormal shenanigans to get these two between the sheets together. Liked it. Wish Stiles were MY sex buddy.

I really like that this series contains a Stiles and Derek who are genuinely friends, with no awkward crushes or open hostility. Obviously by the end of the series there will be love, but I love the slow burn despite the uber sexin!

January 1, 2016Though the warnings, tags, and notes say dubious consent, it really isn't. They had discussed consent adnausiem before and while it happens. The dubious consent is really about the wolfsbane making the sex necessary.
