I Found a Spaceship in my Backyard. What now?

Rate this book
I never believed in UFOs—until I found one in my backyard…Alex is just a normal guy who works at a computer repair shop and dreams away his life. That is, until one day, he literally stumbles across a hidden spaceship.

Together with his best friends, Joey and Lucy, he explores the vessel. They find the pilot dead, but the sentient ship AI is very much alive—and she needs their help.

The friends decide to embark on an adventure into the unknown.

Soon, they find themselves on a crazy ride through space, facing aliens, pirates, smugglers, and humorless space authorities…

Will Alex and his friends find their way home? And do they even want to?

A space adventure for fans of Backyard Starship and Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy!

Great story line. Loved it.

Was a really great read. Being old school, did not like the swearing in it, that kind of ruined it. But if you are not like me, you should love an old fashioned style Science Fiction adventure. , 😁😉.

not bad but not great

The story wasn’t half bad but it had some issues that a good proofreading would have corrected. Lots of typos and a few spots of missing info. Could have been less repetitive in spots. Hopefully the next books will be better.

couldn’t finish it

I started to lose interest when I realized that the IRIS – AI wasn’t being truthful with these young adults who act more like teens.

meh

Mildly entertaining. The author knows so little about space they assume all the planets are in a line, Saturn, Jupiter and Mars all neatly lined up.

Enjoyable reading!

This was a fun story to read, fast paced, enjoyable characters. Wonder what's next in-store fore the characters. Looking forward to read more.
