This was a fantastic end to this series. I loved the series of battles in this last novel as we are able to see everyone showcase their talents and it showed how well they worked as a team. This was prob my fave of the entire series.
A very unexpected but great ending to this series. Lucky for us there will be books about Daisy. I hope they will turned into graphic audio productions too!
Basic Plot: The demigod summit is here and the whole crew has to be on their toes because anything can happen.
Normally, I am violently opposed to the use of a deus ex machina at the end of a book. This book gets a pass for having the most hilarious deus ex machina ever. Which just gets more ridiculous as it continues. This was a solid end to the series, trying up most of the loose ends but not all. I sense a Daisy series in the future. The pacing was good, the humor on point, and it was satisfying.
Someone explain to me why Damien sounded like Pitch from Rise of the Guardians and Zeus sounded like Mufasa. The whiplash I got when Damien came on the scene and all I heard was Pitch. Only for that to lead into a bickering match between the big 3 over who interfered first. I was laughing so much during that whole interaction.
But I want more. I want a book about Daisy going after that dark fae boy. That would be such a fun book, maybe even go deeper into what exactly Zorn and Amber taught her. Plus it would be a good excuse to see Kieran and his crew again. I need more of my kraken. He's back and the book ended so soon after.
But Hades is definitely my favorite god in this series. He was so much fun and so quirky.
Absolutely loved this series and the graphic audio version makes this my fave series so far! Sad to see this series come to an end, beautiful ending and a special surprise at the end had me in tears of joy! Definitely has a special place in my heart for this series!
I enjoyed this last book in the series. There were several characters and scenes that ended up being very satisfying. There was no spicy romance at all, but if there had been, I might've given this book 5 stars.
Alexis kicked butt in this book and I loved getting so many POV chapters!! Daisy and Morty really have had a lot of character growth as well as FMC & MMC! I loved how the team dynamics evolved!
