Audiobook.

I love me a good second chance romance and this also came with some drama. I mean who knew that not only would they fall back inlove but they would also have to fight over property.

As soon as Sophia came back to town and wanted to get her family business up and running and they would need a contractor, I just knew that Ethan would make an appearance. And that he did. As soon as they see each other, the air was knocked out of both of them and I knew that was it, they were gonna fall right back inlove. Did they even ever stop loving each other? I was here for all the flirting and the drama only brought them closer together.

When Sophia decided that she needed to leave after everything, I was sad but I knew that last day she would stay would change everything and I'm happy it did. And if it didn't, I can feel in my bones that Ethan would chase after her and bring her straight back to Pine Haven because that's exactly where she belongs and with him. That proposal was perfect and I loved it.

Overall I give this book a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5. I don't know why this book is not loved more but I loved it and I love this series. It's so quaint and beautiful and quite realistic. I love me a small town romance with small town drama. They aren't spicy or super spicy and they take you on a loving journey. This book was amazing and I can't wait to finish this series. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

A second chance at love, a forgotten family feud, and a corrupt mayor collide in this sweet coming home romance

When Sophia loses her job, boyfriend, and best friend in the same day, she decides it's time to leave the city and go home to Pine Haven. Once at home, she quickly reunites with her high school sweetheart. And it seems Sophia has come home right in the nick of time, too, as she's able to help rejuvenate her family's coffee shop that's been floundering. Unfortunately, the renovations reveal a scandal between her family and some other well-known names in the community.

This was a sweet, cozy little story, where the love comes easily to the two main characters. Most of the conflict has to do with outside forces, along with a splash of self-doubt on Sophia's side. But the couple remains pretty consistent throughout the story, without much friction until their "dark moment." I do wish that Sophia hadn't been so willing to throw her hands up near the end, and that the plot could have been fleshed out a tad more.

Still, Coming Home to Pine Haven is an enjoyable read for those looking for an easy-going clean romance. Perfect for curling up with a warm blanket and a hot cup of coffee.

She left, He stayed, and She returned.

After she lost her job and her cheating boyfriend with her best friend, she went back home to Pine Haven, reuniting with her high school sweetheart, renovating her family's dying coffee shop, and protecting her family's past scandals.

This was an adorable second-chance romance story, although I find the main protagonist, Sophia, a bit lacking, I understand her being an overthinker with low self-esteem but I hope this changes in the end. I also don't see her need to be a worry rat after finding a past scandal. It was already in the past, it's done, no need to overreact. Although I understand the community team-up, fighting the big bully of the Pine Haven for decades. It was an enjoyable read.

Note 2.75/5

This book felt to Quim, the characters weren’t that developed as I would wanted. For the male character we finished the book without knowing anything about him. The female character was…bland. The book was short but the author managed to have a final conflict between the couple so little interesting…the thoughts that the female character had in the final conflict…I really couldn’t relate to them. Also the sub plot that in some moments seem the main plot was also pretty bland and you could already know the end of it, I mean about the mayor of the town.
At least it was a quick book and there were some cute and fun moments between the two sisters and there friend.

Sophia and Ethan was high school sweethearts and now years later when Sophia returns to her hometown, rekindles their young love. She has a sister named Lily. Sophia works/owns a coffeeshop and needed a contractor -- Ethan. After a small town drama with property and the mayor, she suddenly realizes that she brings havoc to the town (she organized the exposure of the mayor's dirty secrets) and want to go back to the city (BOOOO).

REAL RATING: 3.5

This one was alright. Very insta-love, which I can understand considering it was supposed to be a “rekindling”…but everything felt rushed. The “twist” came out of no where, and you want me to believe that they dated for 4 years in high school and never once said I love you? No way. Cute story though…gonna try my luck with book 2

Tame, lighthearted and sickly sweet. An easy read for when you need a homely hug or safe space.
