After eight years she moved to Tōkyō and started out as assistant writer for Hiroyuki Etō. Her debut as manga artist is in 1999 with STRAY DOG. In 2001 she started working on her famous and award winning series Fullmetal Alchemist, that soon gets a successful anime adaptation. Oooh, I like this volume a lot! The plot progression is great, we love enemies to allies. Also I love that Hana gets a little more love in this volume. I feel like it's moving past the initial set up for the world, finally, and getting more interesting, very excited for the next volume.
The plot didn’t move along much in this volume, but we finally got context to what caused some events, which more than makes up for it. Also, that ending??? I can’t wait for volume 10!
Hana is so cool I can’t wait to see more from her and her daemons. I also hope to see a flashback of Dera’s late daemons and some of his mercenary days.

Plot didn’t really move forward but we are filling in much needed gaps. We didn’t introduce 18 new characters either and we finally are moving towards our main cast working with the kagemori clan. Definitely liked this volume more than the last, and I appreciate the direction we seem to be headed
