HP/DM Harry already has two children, an ex-wife, annoying colleagues and an international crime ring to deal with. So when Draco Malfoy reappears after eight years AWOL in France, of course Harry is going to leave him well alone...Right?
Ridiculously underrated. Rentboy!Draco, a trope that is usually tired and unfitting, is put to perfect use here and the writing has a genuine quality to it that sets it apart. I wish I could transfer the money I paid for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child to this author.

Rounded up not least because of a very satisfying ending. The drunken!rentboy!Draco premise had me not overly eager for this particular fic despite the skilled author, but I soon wound up really liking how the central relationship was developed (all the well-drawn relationships and characters, really: both of them in some ways a mess but doing their best to parent realistically emotional and predictably unpredictable kids who are more important to them than anything else, Harry and his kids' interactions with his ex and her new husband/their old friend — Ginny & Neville!, plus other Weasleys et al, plus coworkers, in addition to the romantic pairing), and the riddle of, if the criminals Draco got mixed up with were still after him, why??
This was a fluffy and domestic DREAM but the last 20% made my head spin. It felt kind of unecessary? And even if they were to go that route with the conflict, it just felt rushed and some of it very icky… idk. I loved every moment up until that point though. Chefs kiss
