Elizabeth M Thompson is an Australian writer who lives in the North East of Victoria. She is an award winning short story and freelance writer and has won prizes for her poetry. She began her writing career as a journalist and wrote for the British site ‘Open Writing’ as a columnist with her internationally read; ‘Letters From The Other Side; from Cynthia.’ series.
Her freelance work includes articles for self- sufficiency and gardening magazines.
One of her articles was used as an information leaflet at the Healthy Ageing Expo 2008. She has written three books. A collection of short stories, What? No Roast! A novel Ants Aunts and Funerals and a Writer's Guide...It Isn't All About The writing. Her books are available as e-books and much of her work is available in talking book format.
Her short stories have been published in both Australia and U.S.A and many have been broadcast on State radio stations. Some have been converted to talking books for the vision impaired.
