Welcome to the world of Lost Libraries… You don’t remember them? There’s a reason for that. Fall into this compilation of stories and find out what happened to the supernatural.
My life has only known servitude, manipulation and compliance.
Not everything is as it seems in the world. As I learn the truth about reality and myself, I find my abilities truly are a gift instead of the curse I’ve always thought it was.
Am I willing to take my true place and become who I was always meant to be? Or will I cower and go back to living in the shadow of another?
I'm about to find out exactly what I'm made of. Rise or die.

This was a deeply unsatisfying book for a number of reasons: - We never find out what her "gift" is exactly - She is not the first mate but apparently it's ok as this time she's the "True Mate" and she never once questioned this. - I found the hunt at the end a deeply misogynistic concept for what she said was a matriarchal society. Why the fuck does she need to prove she is worthy of them?!? Also they used to run it naked but now it's ok as she's allowed clothes?? Again, this to me speaks of demeaning not valuing women. - Finally, we have to subscribe to her newsletter for scenes with each of the mates?!? No thank you. Now I've written this down I think my two stars are generous!

I lately have been going through a book slump but this book totally had my attention the entire time. I totally should’ve been sleeping but instead red this story. I have no regrets. I love the FMC and her men and the SPICE omg SPICEY. It’s more of a foreplay type of spice but the author seriously writes it well. Every man had his turn to shine. This a very good standalone, I totally recommend!
I got bored. Nothing new in this book, same old same old.
I wanted to like the FMC, but I just couldn't. Her internal dialogue was boring and cliche. The setting was not very interesting either and it was predictable. I can't even rate it since I DNFed it less than half way through.
This goes to my "meh_boring" shelf and not moving from there.
From the first page to the last Cindy Pike draws you in with descriptions so clear you feel you are walking in Brinleys footsteps! Cindy Pike has created another book that takes us on a journey of the supernatural world with a few twists! A very good read!
Good story, well written. Disappointed that the author didn’t include the full harem experience though. You have to get her newsletter or some crap to actually get the fmcs experience with all her mates. Also, the big scene is literally at the end and was only okay. 🤷🏻♀️
Right away, I was pulled into the story! There was no shortage of adventure, action, bits of humor, and some spice. Overall, this was an enjoyable and captivating read!
