David Walliams is an actor and writer best known for his work with Matt Lucas in the multi-award-winning sketch show Little Britain. His debut children's novel, The Boy in the Dress, was published in 2008 to unanimous critical acclaim and he has since developed a reputation as a natural successor to Roald Dahl.
I didnt mind reading this book as it was given to me by Harper collins to review. The artwork is cute and really paints a picture of what's going on. The stories inside were quite well thought out. Very silly superheroes. There was a part of me that wanted a little more to each individual story. Some felt too short.
This book is not as good as Davids other “worlds worst” but it is funny. I found a few of the stories in it were very repetitive. I think this book was a bit young for me, i would say it is good for 8-10, but it really depends on what you l;ike reading.
To be honest, I feel like his books are getting worse. However, the illustrations and the stories are still very funny! David Walliams's books are what make me love books now, and it's always great to see him still publishing books.
