Helios Andreadis is a changed man. Now understanding how much one eighteen-year-old girl means to him, the gorgeous, powerful head of the billion-dollar underground racing club Afxisi is willing to do everything it takes to win the girl he loves back.
MJ Cartwright is no longer the blindly optimistic girl she used to be. She used to believe she could have a future with a sun god, but now she knows famous underground bikers who look like Greek gods are way out of her league. All she wants now is a normal kind of love – but what would she do if someone like Helios Andreadis takes extraordinary lengths to prove he can be the normal guy he wants?
What does she do when Helios Andreadis even goes as far as leaving the club and his Presidency to be with her day and night and prove to her how much he love her? Will she allow herself to love him again, even knowing it means risking a second heartbreak, one she might not be able to survive?
That's what Helios was prepared to do in order to get MJ back into his life and to admit that she loves him. Things were moving along... slowly... But then his family decided that his life wasn't messed up enough, they'd give him a helping hand.
In his efforts to win back her affections, he makes himself vulnerable and that nearly gets him killed.
MJ comes to his rescue and just maybe, things were going to be alright after all.
But the best laid plans n all.... Find out what happens in Click.
This is book 4 in the Heart Racer series, and I'm loving Marian Tee's MC bad boys.
Would have been 5 stars if not for that ending. They got their happy end and it was beautiful and perfect and I refuse to read any more!! Especially not a traumatizing plot line about sex slavery! No! Unnecessary!

Title: Burn (Heart Racer #4) Author: Marian Tee Publication Date: August 11, 2014 Published by: Jaded Speck Publishing Source: Bought
ARA'S NOTE: Note: There may be some spoilers ahead.
MJ and Helios' story continues in Burn, after leaving them in such a painful -- physically and emotionally -- situation in Swish. A recap of the last few pages in the book: Helios becomes insanely jealous of MJ and Yuri causing him to hurt her by flaunting a beautiful woman, who's a wonderful motorcycle rider and very much into him, in front of her face. But MJ being MJ, she wanted to prove to Helios just how much she loves him. She challenges Hottie McGee (not her real name) in an exhibition, all the while trying to overcome her fear of the two-wheeled beast. She fails, almost killing herself in the process, then Yuri clarifies to Helios that there is nothing going on between them, he feels bad then tries to reconcile with MJ. When she awoke, she declared that she lost and she's giving him up.
Ooohh, tension...me likey! *rubs hands together*
SYNOPSIS: Helios Andreadis is a changed man. Now understanding how much one eighteen-year-old girl means to him, the gorgeous, powerful head of the billion-dollar underground racing club Afxisi is willing to do everything it takes to win the girl he loves back.

CHARACTER BACKGROUND: The Synopsis actually covered everything about the characters so I'll stick with that for now.
TO LOVE: I wanted to see how Helios is going to make it up to MJ after what happened at the end of Swish. Seriously though, how do you get back from that? You can't just say, "I'm sorry" and expect that all will be well in the world again. The things Helios did for MJ was big...for them. I guess it's a huge deal in general, but with their situation, this could be the right amount of sacrifice. The passion between them is smokin', and the chemistry still sparking very potent energy. That ending? That ending was just awe -- wait for it -- some! Seriously. Is that not a wonderful cliffhanger?
TO BLEH: Is it really possible to not be able to look at someone because they're too bright? I just found that part a bit exaggerated.
SUMMARY: I think, among the three books of their story, this is my least favorite. That doesn't mean that I didn't like it, because I still did -- do! But the other two are just more...MORE. I give Burn 4 stars, with a word of caution about the Click, third and last installment of MJ and Helios' romance. It's going to be painful, painful, and painful. Have your tissue boxes within reach because you will need it.
In Burn we have the continuation of Helios and MJ's story. In the last book, we all know that Helios messed up pretty badly and in this sequel we get to see how he grovels.
Helios messed up but at least he learned his lesson. Although it sucks that the only way he realized his feelings for MJ when that incident happened. At least he tries to make up for his faults and I felt for him as well especially when he does those things (to be normal) for MJ. Currently, it was MJ who was making me grind my teeth because she seemed intent on making both of them suffer and well, it took another incident for her to realize her true feelings for both herself and Helios.
I enjoyed reading the other members of Afxisi and I think there's going to be another story --- make that stories coz I just freaking loved Marian Tee's characters especially the guys. I can't help but think who's the lucky girl who'll capture their hearts but one thing is for sure, there's a pending couple on the way and it sounds like my favorite theme, along the lines of, "My Brother's Best Friend" Kyaaaaa! I'm so fangirling. If you've read the book, you'd know whom I'm talking about.
The ending was a surprise for me, I kind of thought it would be a temporary HEA despite it being the second book. I was wrong since the ending itself became a cliffhanger and the temporary bliss of MJ and Helios is very short. Oh, I forgot to mention that I hate Helios' stepmother and older brother. Ms. Tee please do something about it so they can have their just desserts.
I received an arc from the author in exchange for an honest review.
This is the continuation of Helios and MJ, who we were introduced to in "Swish".
“Burn” was an amazing read. I love bikers but I especially love a Greek biker. Helios is one hot alpha biker who knows that he messed up and will do anything to make his love, MJ, realize they are meant together. Although I usually cry when reading books by this author, I did not this time. I laughed, sighed, and wait with baited breath till the very end and I think you will too. There is another part coming out this month which has me giddy with excitement to see if the main characters get their forever HEA. So worth the wait and price. I always love author Marian Tee’s books but I can honestly say that I love her Greek bikers like crazy.
Pump fist for the cuteness, I really liked how Helios- the scariest of them allllll -attempted (key word) at being normal for her. It was very cute and still hot as heck. The storyline was good, everything flowed nicely. I feel sorry for Helios tho LOL you'll see why.
Helios is very dedicated to his girl, and I liked how MJ conquered her fears. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Heart Racers aka Afxisi haha (see what I did there?)
I recommend this book's first part "Swish" and recommend the author as well, for she has a way with making you laugh and cry at the same time, as well as think her stories adorable and hot- like sexy hot- like holy-shit-where's-a-church hot. XD
I was excited to see that this book had finally been released but I was extremely disappointed that the writer charged so much for so little. It's just enough to get you hooked and feed you just a little because it is a way to get more money when they releases the series. The story was a bunch of rumbling about one person trying to prove his love to her. I didn't expect this kind of tactic from the writer.
Helios really stepped up his game in this one and Mj didn't let him off the hook without making him work. This one was great but again way too short for you to really enjoy it. With the ending I know no matter how short it is I'll read it because I've been waiting to see what the proud father would do.
This book could be summed up with the words,"she loves him, she loves him not, she loves him" unfortunately the saga continues and it seems like no happy ending is in sight for MJ
I'm in love eith MJ and Helios...they are young and so hot! They also realized that being normal sometimes really sucks, so being yourself is the best way to be happy !
