This is a great study tool for those interested in studying the Gospel of John.

I liked the three-step learning approach that the authors used in organizing this study. For those who don’t have a bible on hand, the first part of each lesson provides the bible verses involved. The second part, my favourite, is a past-to-present section. This reveals the significance for the original audience and explains how it is relatable in today’s world. The third part is a question section. For those who view it as a Kindle, it’s still useful, even if you can't record your answers in the PDF.

I’d recommend this.

I received this book as part of a Goodreads giveaway.

This is a good Bible Study for an individual or a group. The introduction sets the study up well and explanations are included within each lesson to help the user follow the study. The section on "Original Meaning" can be especially helpful for the one who wants to go deeper while also allowing those who do not want that much information a background story to what is being read. The author then connects the reading of the past to the world of today bringing the Gospel to the reader today. The questions for review were helpful but it does get confusing, hence the 4 stars, as the lesson goes back and forth within the same lesson between all the parts. Overall a good Bible Study for anyone interested in learning more about the John's Gospel and relating it to their own lives.

I enjoyed his bible study, and I will definitely go back again to it in the future, is a good dive into the John Gospel, giving examples and ways to talk about this with friends and in the workplace.

If you go through it, I will recommend that you keep some paper and pen near you and your bible open in the the subject in hand, that will be a bonus. This is an excellent resource to give to someone who wants to know more or who is going back to faith.

Thank you Netgalley and HarperChristian Resources, for the free ARC and this is my honest opinion.

This study bible is an excellent tool for bible, newbies and seasoned christians alike. I really enjoyed the way that everything was broken down in a simple and easily digestible way. While I was hoping for a little more historical context, I still found what was provided very interesting! I highly recommend for anyone trying to delve deeper into God's word!

Thank you so much to Harper Christian Resources and NetGalley for the digital review copy

This book has really helped me understand the book of John. It explains the contents of the book, as well as the history when the book was written. The scriptures are right there in the book also. That is nice because you don't have to go back and forth. You can see exactly what the authors are referring to. The authors even make connections between the book of John and current life-how I can apply what is written to my life. This book is a really good resource for the book of John.
