Leonard Belmont is a Canadian-based writer who enjoys the little things that life has to offer. He first began writing as a way to explore himself, the world around him, and to further understand the untimely passing of those we love. This exploration led to a spiritual journey of discovery.
Belmont seeks truth through automatic writing, a process where he lets his inner-most thoughts and ideas flow onto the paper without conscious critique. This autopilot exploration unearths the unconscious secrets our spiritual self keeps from our conscious, critical self.
Leonard has a unique perspective on both himself and his fellow man. In his writings he ponders the sentiments that people experience each day. From love and passion to guilt and melancholy, he seeks to understand the relationship people have with each other and with Mother Nature herself.
When Leonard isn't writing, he enjoys nature and the sensory joys of the world. He has traveled throughout Asia and Europe to experience the natural and spiritual gifts different cultures offer. He loves photography and often takes pictures of nature's seasons and the monuments created by mankind.
This book will change your perspective on so many different things. 'Thoughts and Reflections' provides readers with a beautiful collection of passages that cover tons of different subjects. You will find mentions of dreams, realities, the internet, human interaction, living and breathing among many other themes. This means the book digs deep. It digs deep psychologically and metaphysically. No matter if you are a creative soul, an inner being or a public agent, this book is for you. It will teach you to tap into your inner thoughts through its open minded philosophy. I particularly liked the passages that were in November (and not only because that's my birth month). The author mentions sleep as a way of communicating with others. It mentions dreams as a connection between the dreamer and the people they have dreamt of. This is something I never would have considered before this book. I have found ways to channel my thoughts more directly, reducing the clutter in my mind, because these passages have created such a clear path. What I also love about the words in these passages is that they are genuine. They aren't fabricated for the sake of entertaining others. I can feel that they are raw and beautiful and meaningful. I recommend this for anyone that wants to dive deeper into philosophy and wants to enrich their lives with some good ideas and thoughts subsequently broadening one's own perspective on life. I've really found a monsoon of energy here and I hope to keep the flow of positivity going because of this book. Will pick it up again!
