My Rating System: 1⭐️: The book didn’t hold my interest and/or had significant issues that overshadowed any redeeming qualities for me, but generally not my cup of tea. Most likely did not finish the book. 2⭐️: The book didn’t quite resonate with me, and while my experience wasn’t remarkable, I did finish it. It had some redeeming qualities and potential but fell short in execution. Recommendable, though with some reservations. 3⭐️: Good read, but didn’t quite stand out. Still worth recommending to others. 4⭐️: Really enjoyed it and stayed engaged throughout. Would read the book again. Definitely recommendable. 5⭐️: Incredible writing that made me deeply connect with the characters. I was completely absorbed in the world and didn’t want it to end. This book stayed with me even when I wasn’t reading it. I'd gladly reread it and highly recommend it to everyone!.

I really like stories with disturbed, twisted heroes and heroines and this one was a great one at that! A pristine yet cutthroat in court lawyer with a dark side, carefully concealed within her and a dark, bloodthirsty Mafia enforcer who sees behind the façade to the woman she really is. His. His soulmate. Jessica and Bennito are not your conventional heroes. They are twisted inside. They thrive in chaos. This whole book is Jessica’s journey to find her true, chaotic, bloodthirsty self. She is capable of dismantling everyone in and out of court. Bennito is the one to set her free. Twisted? Yes. Unredeemable? Maybe. But it was an unquestionably a great story that shows that even the most twisted souls have a match. What I find different to other Mafia stories is that both MCs are dark. There is no innocent damsel in distress in this one that the main hero is obsessed with. Bennito IS obsessed with Jessica because of her darkness, not her innocence. So, if you’re into this kind of stories, you’ll definitely enjoy this one. 4 stars.

Man this series just keeps getting better and better. When I think I have picked my favourite couple Kelani writes a new one and then I have a new favourite. I loved every single moment with this couple between Benito pushing Jessica past all her walls and letting her true self come out and be free from all of her control that she keeps on a tight leash. Jessica is all fire and control and keeps Benito on his toes as he protects his woman and keeps up the chase of breaking down all her walls. I laughed with a lot of the silliness and the whole development of their relationship. Nothing better than having a touch woman who doesn't back down from threats and faces things head on. I cannot wait to see what more Kelani has in store for us. This is a must read!!
This is the story of Benito and Jessica, they had a steamy and hot time together for a few months and she thought it was just temporary and left after that. What she didn't know is that they would meet again sooner than she thought when she is in danger and Benito protects her and keeps her safe because whether she knows it or not she is his and he will do anything to protect what is his. A delightful story that keeps your attention with enough steam and heat.

Jessica is a lawyer that is always in control of her environment. Benito is the man that notices this control and believes it is his duty to break it. Benito has decided that he will create and play a game of cat and mouse until Jessica relenquishes control. His breaking may involve passion and a lot of pain.
Jessica meets Benito because of a case that she is working on. This case also puts her in the crosshairs of another family that are the subjects of the case.

I really liked this book because it wasn't predictable. The story line, the strong characters almost perfect. I only gave it four stars because I did find it several chapters a little slow. Saying that ,read this book! Shirley
Disappointed that it did not get past brooding until page 115. I kept thinking 🤔 it would get better but it didn’t! No bride vibes for the title? Surprised by KK.
I liked the devil’s springtime bride which was Benito and Jessica’s story. I thought it was an intriguing read. I got a copy of the book and voluntarily leaving this review.
