If we deliberately pause our breath – sitting or standing, watching closely – we notice a second stream of breathing, quieter and more elusive, yet always there. Even when we think it stops, we discover, thankfully, it never truly does. This new collection of poems, Under, works the same way. As you read, whenever you pause, you'll realize you've been breathing all along.

Since this doesn’t have any reviews, I’ll put a little more effort into it. For context, I’ve read and wrote a fair share of poetry and am not new to reading it.

This book made me feel as if I was going through a psychic break while debating religion. Some (most) of the poems seem to end as if they were ended mid thought. This would have been okay if the next poem picked up on that thought, but that wasn’t the case.
