When I first met Jayden Robertson, he was just my best friend’s brother. I tried to keep my feelings hidden, but every time I was around him, they became more evident. I didn't want to just be his friend. I knew he felt the same way, but with basketball surrounding his life, I didn't want to interfere since going pro is his dream. Can I accept his lifestyle and what he stands for, or will I end up losing him before our relationship even begins?
Jayden:
Love is something I'd always wanted to experience, but I never had until I met Britney Lewis. She’s everything I want in a woman – smart, confident, and extremely beautiful. We'd always talked about a relationship but never actually pursued one. With basketball consuming my life 24/7, I didn't have time for anything else; but for Britney, I would make time. But there is something that has pained me for years that no one knows about. I knew I should let go, but that’s something I was finding hard to do. Will she be the one to help me through my struggles, or will I end up losing everything I’ve worked hard for, including my relationship with Britney?
Sheena Binkley first discovered her love for storytelling when writing her first story for a class project at the tender age of nine. Since then, she has composed several short stories and numerous tales that are not only engaging, but simply entertaining. She is also a freelance writer, penning articles on various topics including education and entertainment. Besides writing, she loves reading, shopping, and spending time with family and friends. She lives in Houston (where the weather is always unpredictable) with her husband and son.
Let me start off by saying that I love Sheena Binkley's books. I've read all the "Love,Life & Happiness Books" but this was my least favorite.I was soo looking forward to reading this book because I just knew that Jayden would push Brittney away & then realize when she started dating someone else that he really loved her. Needless to say that did not happen.. LoL. Overall this was a cute love story but it was definitely missing something for me(just my opinion ) but I felt like this was a little rushed... By no means will this stop me from buying another book from this author because I like her work, This book was not one of my favorites.
I thought this was a good read of Jayden & Britt's plight to become a couple. Although they were young, they showed maturity as their relationship flourished & they were able to display their love for each other. As with the previous books in this series, the storyline was good as the characters learned about relationships & love.
