I absolutely loved that Wilson got his own pack and hea. He had a small but significant role in Luca's story in the 'always yours' series, and I'm so glad we got to see his story.
This is an emotional journey filled with hurt and comfort, trauma recovery, and accepting love. I loved how Oliver and Lorenzo were patient and let Wilson lead the pace, and how seamlessly Nicholas fits into their dynamic and completes their pack. I love their distinct personalities, the wholesome found family vibes, and how they don't stick to their stereotypical designations, but bend to their packs needs.
This is an emotional journey filled with hurt and comfort, trauma recovery, and accepting love. I loved how Oliver and Lorenzo were patient and let Wilson lead the pace, and how seamlessly Nicholas fits into their dynamic and completes their pack. A MMMM Omegaverse romance with hurt/comfort, lots of smut & emotions that made my heart clench.
I had my eye on the book since I found about it by author's posts. I was only checking it out today but got enamored 😁, I read hella fast - skimmed some but not skipped. It's a spin-off but can be read as standalone (I did). I enjoyed this so much! My 1st of April ❤️. Loved! Devoured it within 5hrs.
Wilson is a Beta whose past haunts him, the good he did in bad & the abuse he suffered by his asshole ex 😤. Cautious, shy, a cute grump with dry humor.
Oliver is the Omega. Sunshine, sassy, bold, impatient & bubbly. He's with Lorenzo, a Beta & they co-own a bar. Calm, thoughtful, observant, fixer. We got a bit of their story but I'm curious how they met & will love a bonus!
Nicholas is the Alpha. W's ex's brother. So patient & been in love with W for years 🥹. A loving, devoted sweetheart.
It's lovely how O+L's preposition to W leads to more 😍. A spicy night for W to let go, but then a job that might not be temporary. A chemistry that sparks connection. & when the bar gets threatened, Nicholas comes in! I liked that N was connected to all 3 in some way 😂. I hate alpha-holes btw, they're here but it's handled (I'm thirsty for revenge NGL, alas it's not that type of book lol).
I always enjoy learning the dynamics. W's obviously THE MC but we get all POVs, emotions & care. It does feel at times that they're 2 couples: W+N & L+N, but as they integrate into a pack, it's awesome. I liked that we see soft moments individually & as 4some. There's a LOT of sexy hot spice 🥵 (not much oral tho!). L & N aren't together but it's acknowledged, their respect is sweet.
W's trauma & him overcoming it is a great plot, along with bar (catalyst). I loved seeing his growth. Fixing? I think it's healing. Especially as he stops denying what he wants! It's heavy on soft feels & any angst is mostly trauma or external. They're so cute 😍. I wish we saw N bite L & O too tho 😭. Fun epilogue!
The lore trickles to us in story which I like. The world doesn't seem THAT different lol. I really wanted to know frequency of heats tho. The writing made me confused on timelines few times, but I think this is fast paced but not insta. I have an arc from the author yet here I am reading this lol.

After loving Luca and Blake’s series, there was no way I wasn’t going to read Wilson’s story. The beta who had such an important impact on Luca’s life.
My heart went out to Wilson. He’s had such a hard time of trying to move on with his life, but people making presumptions about his past has led to disappointment time and time again. He needed someone to give him a real chance.
A one-night stand with Oliver and Lorenzo, the beta-omega couple, turns into so much more, and then a blast from the past enters the building (literally); the alpha, Nicholas, who’s head over heels for Wilson, but who happens to be the beta’s nasty ex’s brother.
I adored this pack. I loved that they give Wilson space and time to figure things out, that they don’t push him for more than he’s comfortable with but support and encourage him in all the ways it’s needed. And I loved how the two pairs – Oliver & Lorenzo, and Wilson & Nicholas – had their own history separately but how that helps their pack to become something more.
I adored Lorenzo, the dominant beta who makes careful, deliberate decisions, taking charge of situations in his calm, collected way. His steadiness was so needed when the pack needed reassurance.
And Oliver instantly won my affection with his messy hair and sunshine chaos. The brilliant, sassy omega who gave up his past life to be with his beta and goes for what he wants in his ‘subtle-adjacent’ way. I loved his cheekiness, trying to sneak caffeine and sugar behind Lorenzo’s back, and how amusing he was when he’s high on both. Oliver’s probably at his most endearing when he’s being a nuisance.
It was Nicholas who had my whole heart though. That wonderfully patient, gentle alpha. He rounds these three out perfectly in his unassuming way. Urgh, that man knew what to say to get my tears started! He never stopped wanting or waiting for Wilson. I was in love with how much he loves his beta.
Nicholas was that final piece Wilson needed to completely trust and let himself accept that he’s found his home with this pack. After always being on alert, I loved see Wilson drop his guard and relax with these three, finally being able to submit in the way he craves without fear.
I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to these four. It feels like they have more to give us, so I’m excited to see what part they play in part 4 and 5 of Luca and his pack’s story.

This book was fine. The writing was good, the plot was good, but I just didn't connect with the characters. I’m wondering if it's because I read the trilogy that mentioned Wilson right before reading this, and those books were jam-packed and had me hooked. Even in those books, I wasn’t really interested in Wilson, but I contributed that to only meeting him for two scenes; however, these feelings carried into this book. I empathized for him and all that he went through, but after a while, I was over it and just waiting for him to give in to the relationship. There wasn't anything keeping his situation interesting. The plot didn't really go anywhere and resolved quickly. On top of that, there seemed to be bdsm elements in the beginning, but that topic didn't get explained or explored further. I did love Nicholas; he's so sweet, caring, and loving, especially towards Wilson. Lorenzo and Oliver felt disconnected from the other couple, maybe because they have been in a relationship for a while? I would still recommend this book though because someone else might love it.

Wilson’s heart reclaimed
We get to look inside of the life of the beta that helped Lucas get his bite removed from the previous book. Wilson who’s past was getting in his way of starting over came in contact with a very enchanting omega. Oliver who had a beta already basically knew Wilson was his he just needs time to accept it. Meanwhile as the love between two betas and an omega starts to bloom Wilson comes in contact with an alpha from the past that he still had fillings for. We get to look inside of the life of the beta that helped Lucas get his bite removed from the previous book. Wilson who’s past was getting in his way of starting over came in contact with a very enchanting omega. Oliver who had a beta already basically knew Wilson was his he just needs time to accept it. Meanwhile as the love between two betas and an omega starts to bloom Wilson comes in contact with an alpha from the past that he still had fillings for. This book was sooooo good, I gobbled it up in less than one day!!!! Wilson learning how to trust and love was so beautiful to watch. I love Nic’s pack dynamics. She always has a cool twist to them. I love that the beta was the obvious head of their little pack & the alpha gave in and let him lead without trying to take over. I also loved that Nicholas’s main concern was to make sure Wilson was taken care of first and foremost. I love that he gave Wilson space to come to him and learn how to trust.

Can’t wait to get more of Wilson and his new pack. I love Oliver (his omega) the fact that he can read Wilson and show him what he needs. I love how Lorenzo & Nicholas work together to take care of them. I can’t wait for book 4 & 5. I need to know what happens between them and if Sebastian causes more problems for Wilson.

This is the hurt/comfort I needed. And I really liked the dynamics between these characters and how they don't abide to what is expected of their designations.
Typos and editing errors annoyed me at times, and there were some unanswered questions. But the book delivered what I wanted and hoped, and I just loved seeing Wilson finally find the happiness he deserves, be loved, and a home.

Absolutely loved this book. From the edge was one of the first series I read from N. Slater and I was so happy to know that Wilson was finally getting his HEA after all the hard work he did to help Luca in those books. And Oliver is a cutie pie too.

It was a good read for anyone who doesn't want an angst filled omega love story. This was quick and simple and I enjoyed it.

Such a great omegaverse book. I loved that the dynamic was different them the norm in this one. I loved watching Wilson grow and over come what he went through. I liked how everyone worked together to help each other.

This book is a short read but packs a punch full of spicy chemistry between the main characters story plot grab my attention.

I dont know what I expected from this book but I loved it. I loved the characters, I loved the relationship, I loved how they came together. I have had this in my tbr since I first read about Wilson and it did not disappoint. I really hope this isn't the end this world. Highly recommend!

Alpha/Beta/Beta/Omega non-shifter omegaverse, hurt/comfort, second chance, established couple with sharing and adds a third then fourth, MMMM.
Connected to the Always Yours series but not necessary to read it before reading this, though I highly recommend it. Compared to that series, this one is less angsty and dark but just as painful due to how Wilson is treated by society after the end of that series. He also has a painful past due to an abusive ex that makes him timid and fearful of others. Lorenzo and Oliver are very patient with him (sometimes Oliver is too eager but Lorenzo is able to control him), and sweet sweet Nicholas is the most patient and perfect Alpha for Wilson and a great addition to the relationship that was building between the previous three.

Wilson deserved so much love, and FINALLY we get to see that come true. His role in the Always Yours series is small but without him, Luca may never have made it home. I loved the tiny cameos from the AY pack, and seeing how those moments with Luca made such a difference to him. Oliver and Lorenzo are absolute darlings, and Nicholas fit the dynamic beautifully. This book just made my heart happy. I loved reading as their relationship bloomed and Wilson let down his walls bit by bit until he learned how to really accept their love and his new family. I just adore this whole universe.
