this was such a horrible book. every poem feels the same, and its very obvious the author wrote it for the asethetics. there is no life to any of these poems. there was a few good verses but they were always overshadowed by the rest of the poem. not to mention all the wasted space on the pages! One of the "poems" was just 12 words yet it took up the entire page. I think my biggest issue though was the spacing.. every sentence was soooo spaced out it was insane. practically every syllable was separated. I think it was a mixture of trying to make the poems look longer + more sophisticated. its obvious she just wanted the verses to end up on thought daughter tiktok.. though these poems are not even good enough for that. I could not make it past 30 pages as it physically pained me to. I wrote better poems at 10 years old. Ill just leave one of the "poems" here so you can decide for yourself.

and the dopamine high
that he pretends to give you
just to make you feel
like he has something to give you
hes staring at your texts like a chore, babe
while youre taking a shower
you dull out the razor blade
shaving your legs for him
cause he said
he likes you alot
so why are all your dates
at the parking lot?"
