This is the first book in the ‘Command Me’ Series, a seriously hot and provocative romance by Lucia Jordan, written in her signature style of high passion with searing depictions of sex and emotion. Sarah knows that she’s the top seller at the company where she works but her chief rival Joel—suave, sexy and all too confident—seems to think he can beat her. She decides to settle the score straight by challenging Joel to a bet—whoever ranks higher in the company charts wins the loser as their slave for twenty-four hours. Sarah knows that sex will be on the agenda, but what she isn’t expecting is to be denied it— denied it until she is mad with her craving for release. But when someone decides to use photographs of her steamy encounter with Joel to blackmail Sarah, she finds herself submitting to not one, but two Masters. This ebook contains very hot and explicit descriptions of romantic activity. Only mature readers should download this book.
Since releasing her first romance book in 2012, Lucia Jordan has done more than just write stories. She has helped define a genre. As a pioneer of the digital romance revolution, Lucia has penned hundreds of sizzling titles, delighted millions of readers, and earned thousands of five-star reviews. Her ability to blend emotional depth with uninhibited passion has made her a household name, with her hit novel Rock Hard earning a coveted nod as the #1 must-read erotic novel by Women's Health magazine.
But Lucia’s passion extends beyond the page. As the creative force and founding author behind Wild Hearts Romance, she is a champion for the indie community, dedicated to lifting up new voices in a genre she calls powerful, valid, and necessary. She writes for the dreamers and the risk-takers to craft stories that leave nothing to the imagination and remind us all that everyone deserves a happily-ever-after.
When she isn’t fantasizing about her next spicy scene or advocating for fellow writers, Lucia can be found in her sanctuary, a cozy garden gazebo in the Pacific Northwest. It is here that she retreats with her literary trio of cats, Ursula, Colette, and Daphne, to let her imagination wander. With a cup of tea in hand, she dreams up the sizzling plotlines and unforgettable adventures that have made her a bestseller.
This makes THREE books from this author that I have read in a three hour time span today. Needless to say, I feel this book was extremely too short. Yes, there are three more books in this series. Therefore, leading me to believe it all could have been only one book. Hence the reason for a three star rating.
As for the story itself, hmmm, how to word things without spoilers? Two competitors at the office after the same prize, with an under-the-table bet going on... Both will win out in the end, in one way or the other. She's pushed in "ways" she didn't even know she wanted to be pushed in - and loves it! Yet, he somehow knew she had it in her all along. BUT - someone's watching...
Who knew that a simple bet between co-workers could end up this way. Just when you thought it was going to be happily ever after, we are thrown for a loop. I love that there is no wishy washy female lead. She is just a strong lady learning about herself. Yes, there is a cliff hanger but in the best possible way. I can hardly wait to read the rest!
Very good book to read. Can't wait to see how Joel take it when Sarah tell him about what is going on and how come she has changed how she acts so profoundly. I hope that he listens to what she has to say and doesn't judge her. Cause she is kinda saving his job as well too by not letting the pictures get out. Looking forward to reading more.
Joel and Sarah made a bet...Sarah lost. Now she is Joel's slave for 24 hours. Sarah receives pictures and text messages about her time with Joel. Who saw and blackmailing Sarah now?
She allowed one man to control her because of losing a bet. And now she's being intimidated by someone she doesn't know so that he can control her. She's allowing someone to blackmail her to save her reputation because she did nothing wrong. Enjoy I did.
This was a pleasant surprise. It had just enough heat but wasn't over the top. This story kept my attention and made me want more. I can't wait to read the next installment.
This was way too short of a read and I couldn't get attached to either character. I think that all the shorts should have been put together to make a full book.
