The book started off a little slow for me, but interesting enough that I wanted to continue. And I am so glad I did because then it started to pick up, and what an awesome ride it turned into! I loved the allegory with Christ!! 🥰🥰 The characters were well written with depth to them and came “alive” off the page. There was plenty of action, suspense, medical intrigue, and “read one more chapter” in the second two-thirds of the book! James created an interesting and totally believable three dimensional world!! The Elites were super creepy, very creative!! I enjoyed this book very much and recommend it!

Not my favorite Bonk book but maybe when the whole series comes together it could become my favorite of his series. I don't think it makes sense as a stand alone.
