He studied Fine Arts at Musashino University. At first, he was more interested in illustration, printmaking, and painting than in manga. However, when he considered the best way to make a living from his art, he decided to focus on the world of Japanese comics and trained himself, rather than the usual approach of working for several years as an apprentice to an experienced manga artist.

He was still a student when his first work, The Boss Is an Onee, was published. He soon attracted attention for his distinctive drawing style, his fantastical and melancholic plots, and his use of fantasy characters and anthropomorphic animals.

Listen…I’m not really a furry Typ or anything like that but wow this one here I enjoyed it so much!!
it’s really something different, new, definitely unique and the smell kink absolutely makes sense here, since both MCs are actually dogs!
I loved how this was portrait here it had a slight innocent touch to it even if it was really kinky. I love it!
I also loved both characters! Both were so cute and sweet, I loved how their dynamic here worked out.

All the happy wiggling tails made this even more better haha it was really adorable.

I‘m actually so sad that there isn’t a second volume about them I would eat it right up😭💓

I'm a big fan of Nagabe, so I love reading his works. This was, like, an amp up NSFW-wise compared to his other works. I mean well, yeah, the title is self-explanatory, it's a story based on a scent fetish. If you're going into it thinking "oh cute furry boyfriends" sure, but be aware of its content :')

Compared to Eat, this manga is more straightforward. Given this is a oneshot, I don't expect the characters to be extremely well-developed. However, all we know about Noy and Joseph is that they're attracted to each other's scent, which isn't that compelling by itself.

Nagabe is one of those mangaka that I pickup immediately, because no matter what I’m guaranteed a unique story with memorable characters and a thread or two of stuff I’m not really going to find in any other titles. If you’re unfamiliar, Nagabe is well known for his wholesomely creepy series The Girl From the Other Side, but he also occasionally dabbles in the world of BL. i do like nagabe's art style a lot but it will never not be funny to me that the guy who made a super cottagecore, eldritch horror, ~*~*aesthetic~*~* manga series just did a 180 pivot and decided "yeah, now i can make all the gay furry smut i want". good for him

Men are dogs, but take it literally…

I’m not the biggest fan of BL manga to begin with, but I thought I’d give this one a try after a couple panels caught my eye at the library. Anthropomorphic dogs as a metaphor for queer men (unfortunately) worked better than expected, but did little for me personally. Mostly, I spent the time wondering why the creator decided to tell the story as a monologue through Joseph, with Noy only directly speaking 2-3 times tops (presumably only because he’s shy or an introvert and not because he’s mute).

Afterwards, I’m realizing this story was probably targeted to furries… 🤔

I had to hold the book away from my face and close my eyes at several points. good lord, this is as salacious as you could get without anything penetrative happening. as per the nagabe one shots, the focus is entirely tightly on these two characters and their central themes. i cant fully commit to me being repulsed by this or interested. it is an intense ride, like a really strong smell. I guess I enjoy how smell kink is explored which is something I feel everyone experiences in one way or another but it isn't really talked about
