great penultimate book

Things are coming to a head. Archie may be gaining power but his enemies are still leagues ahead of him. But we bed him show case his power to the world in an epic fight with the ghouls, get married, take on his tyrant brother and in general solve the mystery of what happened to earth. Solid build up to the final book

The main character is literally being given the win because he's chosen by others. And he gets more and more selfish and cold as he grows in power. Then they added some relationship stuff that totally was unbelievable (characters acting out of character).

I will finish the series because I'm always super curious about the ultimate plot reveals, but I don't really like the MC anymore.
