This dictionary is a must have for English speakers of Esperanto. It is (unfortunately) unidirectional: there is an entry for each Esperanto word, with a significant paragraph of clarification about the meaning and use of the word (not just your typical one-to-one translation dictionary). Besides a full sentence definition, there are examples of use, examples of the root combined with various other roots and affixes, lists of "see also" words with similar meaning (which maybe better fit what you're looking for) and sometimes lists of opposite-meaning words. The examples also clarify which prepositions one should use with the word (if applicable). And it indicates which words are official, which are in the Fundamento etc etc. Just the all-around best dictionary ever.
