As an unmated human Omega, I was nearly powerless in a world where magic was extinct.
Magical beings and shifters were gone, or existed only under the Purists' iron fist.
I lived under a clear threat, one I had evaded through my employer's generosity. That protection was ending. His company, my sanctuary as a scientist, was being taken over by his brother, the continent's most feared and ruthless human Alpha.
I was prepared for the worst. There was no way Conan Rion would let me continue my research.
Reality proved even crueler.
My body reacted to his presence in the most primal way. Though his touch shattered my self-control, I held firm and wouldn't kneel, fueling his fury.
The thought of Conan Rion as my fated mate filled me with dread. His power as the strongest Alpha meant he could compel me with his commands.
But his desire to enslave me wasn’t the most terrifying part.
I didn’t believe he was human.
The Rion family had a dark secret. And if it ever came to light, the Purists would have the perfect excuse to start a war against the remaining magical beings.
I had a feeling that’s exactly what the Alpha was waiting for.
For the war to begin. A final war he planned to win.
And the only obstacle standing in his way… was me.
Bound To The Alpha Wolf is a dual POV wolf shapeshifter dystopian fantasy romance novel. It features spicy F/M dynamics, typical of Omegaverse books, and a possessive morally gray hero. The story contains dark themes, but ends with a happily ever after.
This book was unique. It was not like an Alpha and Omega story I have ever read. Kind of Dystopian vibe that left we with questions on how that society really was designed. While what I wrote sounds negative, I did enjoy it. Quick read overall. I would recommend it if you like societal struggles and twists to stories that takes you to the last few chapters to be revealed.
There is mystery, danger, a shift in consciousness of the two main characters which create a great love story. A feisty brilliant female nerd, a dominant serious Alpha rebel, both internal and external struggles, and an ending you don’t anticipate.
I read it. I'm not sure what was going on but I finished it. The reviews are correct and it is a jumbled mess. I hate to give reviews that are negative but reader beware.
I did give it 2 stars because the concept is interesting and I've never written a book so credit given.
The language/grammar in this is so bad. The way it is written makes it impossible to become invested in the MC’s. A lot of what is written makes little sense. My brain hurts from reading this.
